Grilled steak plate with baby arugula and seasonal vegetables, mint lemonade
    Emil C.

With the finish line right outside at Santa Monica Blvd, this was one of my favorite places to get something to eat after running the Los Angeles Marathon! It's pretty easy to find. It's at the southwest side of the Atrium on the second floor right across from the Shake Shack. You can pre-order your meal on their mobile app to cut down on the wait time. My go-to post race meal is their grilled steak plate with baby arugula and seasonal vegetables. They have decent amount of inside dining space, but can fill up really quickly during peak meal times. Outside dining can be a bit of hit or miss depending on the weather. It can actually get too nice where the sunlight is burning your skin!

With many corporate offices near this location, you need to be willing to wait a long time to get your food or you need to order ahead. This place gets very busy and the workers are obviously overwhelmed. The staff is nice just very busy. I submitted an online order and it was ready 15mins after the stated time. Additionally, they were trying to pass off a side dish as a meal and I had to pull out my receipt and carefully explain why that was incorrect and they did not give me a sandwich I paid for. The food was okay. Typical LA lunch spot--overpriced salad and sandwiches, nothing special or unique flavorings. While waiting for my order, I heard a guy explain how he had been waiting for over an hour for his single sandwich...so make sure you plan ahead if you choose to stop here for lunch! I'm not sure I would recommend eating there at the restaurant as it was very busy and loud. It was a bit stressful and chaotic but whatever suits you! There are many lunch options at the Century City mall and I would rather try another spot than come back here.

The staff was very friendly and food freshly prepared. It's centrally located near other food places if someone if your group isn't interested in the healthy option.

DO NOT COME HERE! *undercooked chicken* First i ordered a plate with chicken salad and mac n cheese. I paid for it and then sat down, 5 min after sitting down the cashier comes up to tell me they are out of mac n cheese even though i ordered it 5 min ago. I say no worries and ask for fries instead. About 15 min later he comes back with this plate and the chicken was raw.... When i told them the chicken was raw no one batted an eye or cared. They weren't even busy...I kindly asked for a refund and left. Will never go back and someone needs to teach them customer serb

    happier vegan with baked falafel

The Happy Vegan has always been a go to menu item for me so I was delighted to order the Happier Vegan. The falafel is so delectable and I like how it's baked. It's not crispy but still has a great texture and is a healthier option. The hummus and cilantro sauce were both fabulous as well as all of the salads that came with it. The service was prompt and friendly and the food came out pretty quickly. The ambiance was also nice and the seating is cozy and comfortable. Also love how clean the restaurant is. It's on the pricier side but well work the money.

Definitely love how attentive and nice the workers are. They always greet with a nice tone and always make sure you have everything you need. Definitely love coming here. I only ever get the fried chicken sandwich but it's soooo good. Especially the mint lemonade (would go back JUST for the lemonade tbh). Overall 10/10 P.s if you come on the weekends, they do take a minute but it's expected when there's lots of customers.

Seared tuna was basically seasoned and put on the plate

I'm not sure the seared tuna even touched the grill. I asked for it cooked a little more.... He just blinked at me soo I guess I'll eat the sides. Update. They remade it but they cooked the sh!t out of it so it was a hockey puck.

Plate with two sides and a Cobb salad

The good: I came today during the LA marathon so I wanted a place that wasn't crowded. This place was quick and I didn't have a line. I tried a Cobb salad, plate with two sides and a pineapple Agua Fresca. For the plate I got peppered chicken and a side of wedge potatoes and macaroni and cheese. I liked how the cheese used in the mac and cheese was white. The chicken was pretty tender. The salad was flavorful. Both plates came with a slice of seasoned and toasty bread. The agua Fresca was great because it was light and not too sweet like most places make it. They have indoor and covered outdoor seating and are located on the second floor of the outdoor mall. The menu has options for bowls as well. You order at a counter and get a number to put on your table. They bring the food out for you and they came by the tables to offer drink refills. The bad: The macaroni was a bit over cooked. My husband would've preferred less dressing in the salad. The chicken pieces in the plate were random because some were end pieces with lots of pepper and some were middle pieces with no pepper at all. The interesting: Many of the bowls were over 1000 calories.

TenderGreens started strong as a chef-led, farm-forward feel-good eatery--and much of that remains. If you're after a quick, healthier sit-down or takeout meal, it's still a solid choice. Just temper expectations around consistency and be prepared for prices that have edged up. Service is always good! They always make sure the cook is to the right temp and ambiance is very chill and relaxing. Shout out to Roberto for an amazing dinning in experience

Prawn mango salad was an absolute star. Very large meaty tiger prawns over a bed of fresh greens and juicy mangos to give it a slight sweetness. Paired exceptionally well with my lychee martini. A must try. Had some room left in my tummy, so had to try the famous garlic noodles with a skewer (added protein) and wow this was fantastic as well. Im normally unable to finish the garlic noodle dish myself as by mid dish the butteriness is too much, but the skewer gave it a perfect balance. Proud to say each dish was spot clean by lunch end. It was good for me especially because I am indecisive. They change the plate in between every dish. The garlic noodle and Dungeness crab was the highlight for me as it is their specialty. One of the server told us that there's a room in the kitchen that only few people can go in and make the noodle so the recipe will not leak. Crazy! The bill came out to be $600 for 3 people with 4 drinks just for your reference.

They happened to have a Sunday Supper special -- a three-course meal with appetizer, main course, and dessert. Perfect for girls like us who don't eat too much, but honestly, it was still more than enough. It also happened to be my bestie's birthday week, and they surprised us with the cutest birthday dessert: chocolate-wrapped ice cream shaped like a coffee bean. So tasty and adorable. The service was attentive and very polished -- exactly what you would expect from an upscale Beverly Hills restaurant. I also loved the lighting: the perfect shade, not too bright and not too dark, making it great for a casual dinner, romantic date, or even a business meal. It's definitely a place I would come back to with more friends so we can try more dishes. A perfect stop after shopping on Rodeo Drive.

The ambience at Marea is beautiful, especially the amber lit bar area. There is both indoor and outdoor seating for dining. The Easter menu had a wide variety of items, and was a 3 course fixed price menu. We both chose the charred avocado toast with lump crab as the starter, and the lobster roll with buratta, basil and eggplant as the main course. Before bringing the first course out, we were given a basket of room temperature regular and chocolate croissants, and strawberry pastries. It was very odd to serve sweet pastries before a savory meal vs a normal bread basket. At least they could have been served warm. The avocado toast had a lot of potential given the generous portion of lump crab, but the heavy char on both the avocado and the bread overwhelmed the dish and the delicate flavor of the crab was lost. The lobster roll also had potential with a light buttery bun, but the addition of a soupy burrata and the other ingredients made the small amount of lobster take a back seat. The menu did accurately describe the dish so perhaps I should have chosen more carefully. Dessert is where the meal really shined. We ordered one each of the 2 desserts offered, the blackberry budino and the lemon raspberry crostada. Wow, they were delicious and almost too beautiful to eat! Kudos to the pastry chef. We received great service, however the table next to us and a few others were complaining that they had been there for 2 hours and still hadn't been served their entire meal. Overall, the food was a 3.5 (5 for the dessert), and ambience and service was 5 stars.

He was informative about our selections giving honest feedback and attentive to the needs of our group. I will say the food not inexpensive but what food really is these days. We ordered a plethora of dishes. Starting with the tuna neck tin. While I'm new to the tin game, I couldn't imagine what a $90 tin tasted like, now I know and I'm not sure I can eat anything less. Appetizers we started with the baked scallop special with chorizo, the caviar fries and the caviar dip. The baked scallop was delicious and the cause dip with the salt vinegar chips was fantastic. I could still dip more chips in that dish. I chose between the mussels and the fried fish sandwich. Alex recommended the fish not because it was better than the mussels. But because you just can't get a fried fish sandwich like theirs. I agree. The fry breading they have is top notch and the size of the sandwich literally has me full still 7 hours later. I substituted the fries for a lightly dressed side salad and loved it all. Besides, other folks had chips and fries to share. Other dishes were the fried and cold lobster rolls. The bagel breakfast plate and fish and chips. We even got dessert which was the pistachios tiramisu and the strawberry cake. Both good but the tiramisu was next level. All washed down with a winter sangria Maybe that's why I am still full. See you again, saltie girl.
