Seared Tuna & Salmon NIgiri and Salmon Nigiri
    Jacques I.

I had no idea Ten Sushi #35 existed until we saw it as a participating business for the International District Happy Hour Food Walk. I must've never noticed it when in the area, as it's located in Little Saigon in a shopping complex. But after checking it out, I can't say I'd willingly go back. When we first arrived, we weren't sure if it was open because it was dark inside, and when we tried to open the door, it wouldn't budge. We soon learned that it was just a heavy door; as we saw that once we did pull it open, the employee was standing in front of the door watching us the entire time, trying to pull open the door. It was as if they didn't want us to visit. How odd. My boyfriend and I shared the salmon nigiri and seared tuna and salmon nigiri, which were both on the happy hour food walk menu. Although the nigiri pieces were cheap, they weren't the best. The salmon nigiri was fine, but the seared pieces were unfortunately, too seared. Because of so, we couldn't taste the freshness and quality of the fish. The sear adds a little something extra, which is why I normally order seared nigiri pieces, but the sear was too much. Also, they drizzled a spicy sauce on top of the sear, which also added to the fact that we couldn't taste a lot of the fish. Bummer. I most likely would not visit Ten Sushi #35 again, especially for when I crave sushi. The food was mediocre and the space didn't feel inviting.

Chicken Karaage Salmon chips Spicy Scallop Gunkan

I almost don't want to share this, but they have a Tuesday $1 sushi deal which makes me wish everyday is Tuesday... The quality is pretty decent for $ value, there are 15 kinds to choose from and my personal favorites are the spicy scallops and unagi nigiri. Another thing that I always order is their karaage; it's always fresh and juicy, unlike other strong flavored ones their karaage is mild and thus perfect for eating w sushi. Really friendly staff and always get unexpected treat from them - cream puffs, ice creams, etc. They also provide free salmon skin chips w spicy Mayo, super yummy! It's also clear that they care about covid and concern about the safety for both their staff and customers. There's hand sanitizer at eh front, the dine-in area is closed and all staffs are wearing masks.

    Chirashi bowl and sashimi

I had ten sushi delivered to me through door dash. I ended up having the chirashi bowl and the chef's choice sashimi. While I enjoyed the presentation of the dishes, the quality of the fish was subpar compared to the plethora of sushi restaurants in the Seattle area. The fish had somewhat of a strong pungent odor to it and didn't taste too pleasant, probably indicating that the fish was old. The rice in the chirashi bowl was mushy and not to my liking. I just feel like if you're a sushi establishment you should really take pride in your products, especially the fish, but that didn't seem like the case here. I don't know, maybe I had food from here on an off day, but I would potentially give this place another shot on a Tuesday since they offer $1 nigiri pieces.

Decided to try this place out due to all the hype I've heard about their $1 Sushi on Tuesdays. The Nigiri was pretty decent for what it's worth. This place right now is still take out only. Will come back next time to try the rolls.

    Hamachi platter

We were deciding on a place for dinner and happen to walk by this place so decided to check it out. The inside is decorated with Pokemon figures. We got the hamachi platter, an order of the chicken karage and the spicy salmon roll. The hamachi platter was nice because you can definitely taste the different ways it was prepared. The karage was ok, I wish it was a little crunchier and the flavor is on the lighter side. The spicy roll was probably my least favorite, it wasn't spicy at all and I didn't really like the texture of the salmon. Price was standard. Service was good. The waitress was really nice. I like that they have this promotion where for every $25 dollars you spend you get to grab a raffle that can get you a freebie. I was able to grab a free green tea ice cream so decided to stay for dessert. The presentation was very cute and the ice cream tasted good. Overall, I would come back to check out other food and their daily special looks really good.

Got 4 rolls and a gyoza at this place for takeout. The rolls had too much rice and didn't taste good. The gtoza was ok. Rating Salmon skin roll - 1/5 Spick salmon roll - 2.5/5 Avocado roll - 2.5/5 Gyoza - 3.5/5 Price - 1.5/5 Not impressed!

When you first enter Ten Sushi, there's this weird off-smell in the air. It's not necessarily stinky, but when combined with the awfully sketchy parking garage underneath, it's weird enough to make you question your choice of dining here. Fortunately, it's not all bad, as the food here is decent and the staff are super friendly! We ordered quite a few things: spicy tuna roll, tuna nigiri, seared salmon roll, chicken kaarage and the chirashi bowl. The fish in general just tasted kind of weird here. It had a real fishy taste to it, and not in a good way. The nigiri was awful, and the spicy tuna roll just felt really cheap. The chirashi bowl was WAY overpriced ($19) and the quality of the fish was not great. I did still enjoy it though and I actually really really liked the seared salmon roll! Probably my favorite thing I ordered. As before mentioned, the service here was awesome. Friendly lady who was very attentive and quick. Another positive would be their menu, it's HUGE. Besides sushi, they also serve ramen, udon, chirashi bowls, and even a small happy hour menu from 3-close! Overall, it's an average place for sushi. Nice service with decent sushi, but I just wish the restaurant smelled better...

Stopped by on Tuesday to try their $1 nigiri special. I wasn't expecting the greatest quality of fish and got what I was expecting - average. I would say it's similar to what you expect at sushi buffets. The cut of the fish was pretty sloppy and the nigiri was overpacked with rice, which was also subpar. They do have a good variety of sushi on their $1 special, ranging from tuna to squid to unagi. I would not recommend it at their regular prices.

One of my favorite sushi places in town! I love ten sushi! The sushi is great and reasonably priced, the service is decent and I can walk here from CD (yea it's a bit of a walk but I have so much sushi and sake here that I need a stroll to digest all that good stuff!

Open sign at the door front at 11:05AM but once got in, the sushi man said they not open. Waste my time there
    Kevin V.

We went there at 11:05AM on Thursday. There was an "Open" sign at the front door. When we walked in, the Sushi man said "sorry, we not open yet." Well, if they were not ready why they flipped the sign "Open"??? 11AM was the open time for dine in as posted on Yelp and there was another Open sign below to take Togo order as well. I saw his advertisement a few days ago. I set my plan not to eat breakfast and waited till their open time. Besides, I not lived close by and need to drive there to eat specifically. That sushi man responded was a big let down. I was so disappointed to waste my morning there. Integrity and do best in work is what makes Japanese people so unique from others. The way they operated business totally not represents the value of Japanese culture at all. I don't know what their sushi tastes like but this is the place I already cross out from my list.

    $1 sushi tuesdays
    Chaeji K.

Thank you for 1$ sushi tuesdays!!! Honestly wasnt expecting much because it was so cheap, but it was very decent and well worth the price! I love that they are offering these deals during the pandemic. It really makes me want to support small businesses like Ten Sushi more. Parking is a little hard to find even for pick up however.

Hot Tea.. yeah u c the steam?

original plan was going 2 Fuji Sushi, but they were closed w/ no reason y they weren't open when they r supposed 2 b open, so I had 2 find a place n there's not that many sushi places around Chinatown/Japantown that r opened 4 lunch.. so let's do this place again like 3 months later + my mouth was set on something Fuji had n such disapointment got here again n no they didn't have wat I wanted 2 order, so I ended up w/ 2 nasty rolls.. well 1 nasty roll n 1 that was a bit off n different; specifically, their Rainbow Roll had some kind of sweet citrus yellow thing on most of the roll that threw it off, but kudos 4 them 4 using real crab n not fake krab in their California base.. but mess job number 2; most of the pieces fell apart n the real nasty roll please stand up! It's called the We Are the Wild Roll, just nasty no flavor, ingredients did not go w/ each other.. just tasted like a bad marriage.. BUT this is nowhere regarding the waiter's fault b/c he did an EXCELLENT job n asked if I thought the food was ok.. it is more of me ordering n trying new things; as well as, trying 2 get back 2 work so wat's the point of making them do another roll when also I am down 2 the last 2 pieces of that yucky roll STILL the prices r as expensive as ever 4 rolls that tastes like they should b eight or nine dollars but tea was good!

Fast-forward to 2026 and decided to dine here again with my guy. I'm sad to say that lightning did not strike twice. We had a reservation for 7:15 and were quickly seated. I had been dreaming about their Chirashi Jewel Box and the Maze-men that I had so enjoyed on my first visit. Our waitress, a sweet and friendly pink-haired young woman named Charity, came to take our orders. I was disappointed to learn that their wine selection was EXTREMELY limited: a house red, and a house white (Chardonnay). I'm not a fan of Chardonnay. She suggested a cherry blossom cider so I decided to go with that. Disappointment number one. Disappointment number two landed right afterwards, when I was informed the Chirashi Jewel Box was no longer on the menu. Ugh. My heart sank, as it was the main reason I had wanted to come back. So I decided on the Maze-men. Boyfriend ordered the Dan Dan Ramen and we asked for the Mt. Cabbage salad as our appetizer, lured by the promise of how good it was on the menu. What we got was literally a pile of plain finely-shredded green cabbage on a plate, with a tiny metal cup of dressing on the side. That's it. No other veggies, no other seasonings. I almost thought it was a joke. There wasn't even enough dressing to dampen all of the cabbage. But we were hungry, so there we were like two rabbits, attempting to navigate the messy shredded cabbage with chopsticks. Our mains arrived. The Mazemen was not as I remembered. There was no egg in it; it was super-oily, and was very spicy yet also somehow bland and lacking in flavor. Boyfriend thought his ramen was fine, but nothing special. Overall it was a letdown and a very pricey one at that. I guess you just cannot recreate an experience. Sigh.
