Sirloin beef tomato broth rice noodle
    Malina N.

Just like their name, I got my food so quickly! A large stone bowl of rice noodles in heart warming broths for $12-15 is amazing‼ I loved trying this noodle spot on a cold day because the soups really warmed me up this winter. While I enjoyed the pork chop rice noodle's lighter broth, the kimchi beef rice noodle had the perfect balance of beef and spicy flavor for my preference Two skewers for $3 was also a steal too! The skewers all had the same spicy seasoning and I enjoyed the fish tofu skewers the most If you're in Chinatown and are craving some warm soup and noodles that taste like home, this is your spot!

Prepare to sweat for Ten Second Noodle House! This is small Chinese noodle shop that serves piping hot noodle soups. The restaurant is small but not crowded at all! This is a hidden gem in Allston that could be the next big thing. We ordered the popcorn chicken as an appetizer and it was very juicy. I wish the exterior is a little more crispier but it is still crispy enough to get the crunch we are still looking for. For entrees I got the pork-chop noodles and my gf got the tomato noodles. They both came to our table pipping hot for us to enjoy. The portions of the noodles are and soup are amazing. The porkchop is the size of my face. The tomato's broth is sweet and hardy. Definitely would come back again!

We got lunch on a Saturday afternoon and didn't have to wait at all to get seated. 4/5 Food: the fried pumpkin cakes and popcorn chicken were hot when they came out which was absolutely delicious. The fried pumpkin cakes had red bean filling and made for a great appetizer or even dessert. The noodles came out shortly after and the portions were quite large. My friends and I all got different broths, and they were all really good. 4/5 Service: Our server made sure we had everything we needed and was super helpful even when some of our party arrived late. The menu had a lot of good options, I just wish it had descriptions of what's included in the broth bowls themselves (the menu had only pictures of "what's included" but they were quite small and I'm not 100% sure what all was in my bowl)

    特意来吃的酸菜鱼米线,很好吃,店里的盐酥鸡也很推荐。服务很好,很棒的体验

Specially to eat the pickled vegetable fish rice noodles, very delicious, the store's salt crispy chicken is also recommended. 特意来吃的酸菜鱼米线,很好吃,店里的盐酥鸡也很推荐。服务很好,很棒的体验

I ordered the black stinky tofu, boneless fried chicken, and the tomato beef rice noodle. The stinky tofu was not as stinky as I thought it would be. It honestly tasted like it was packed with hot pot broth seasoning. While it tasted fine, I think I was expecting a bit more from this dish. The boneless fried chicken was crispy and juicy, so I greatly enjoyed this dish. The tomato beef rice noodle arrived piping hot and had a sour acid taste to the broth. It was more flavorful than I expected it to be. There was a great assortment of toppings included with this dish such as napa, bean sprouts, ham, etc. My only complaint is that the fatty beef is added to the dish already and cooked pretty quickly. The rice noodle was served on the side so you can control how much you add into the dish at once. Overall, the meal was pretty filling. I would enjoy this more in the winter when it is cold as this dish warms me up really quickly. The restaurant only had one server and she did an amazing job handling all the customers present. She was very attentive and made sure to refill our water and adhere to any of our requests. I wish there were a bit more variety in the broth flavor, but I did appreciate the customization options. I would not mind coming back here in the future. It is a great spot for those who enjoy a nice simple rice noodle dish that is reminiscent of home.

Came here yesterday with friends. The food was amazing. I had the spicy sirloin rice noodles and the sirloin was really tender and flavorful. Service was friendly and restaurant was clean. Will definitely come back again.

Total rating would be about a 4.5 stars but rounded up because I know I'll definitely be coming back soon! Walked in on a Saturday around noon and was seated right away. The shop is a bit small but most of their orders seemed to be through takeout, so it wasn't too crowded. Their in-store menu seems to be a bit more extensive than what the pictures show on Yelp. We ordered a picked pepper rice noodle and a pickled fish rice noodle. The food arrived BOILING hot, literally with a rolling boiling. The instructions are to soak the noodles for 10 seconds before enjoying. We put in half of our noodles first to avoid sogginess of the noodles. The flavors were so good. The only thing we could knock them on was the toppings. There could have been more toppings but it was mostly bean sprouts, two tofu puffs, some wood ear mushroom, and very few kernels of corn at the bottom. The menu also seems to imply that you can add the toppings to the bowl yourself, but it comes mixed together already. The only thing you add are the noodles. Come prepared to sweat if you're ordering a spicy dish. The flavors had a lot of depth and paired with the ice cold water they serve, it was perfect for a cold day!

The original soup rice noodle is very tasty. They have good environment, excellent services. I will come back again.

Good service very tasty. Definitely come back again. The tomato soup rice noodle is very good

Great price and quality! The scallion pancakes were really good and they give you a lot of meat, noodles and broth for the price.

Shanghai Classic Pork Pan-Fried Buns上海生煎饅頭: I was instantly hooked! It's hard to imagine finding such good pan-fried buns in the US. Almost every table ordered them, so they were all freshly made, piping hot. The bun was made with unleavened dough, making it chewy and refreshing, with a light, crispy bottom--not oily or hard. The meat filling was substantial and tender, with plenty of broth (see picture). It was sweeter than salty, incredibly umami. The chili oil was also very fragrant, and dipping it in Zhenjiang vinegar enhanced the flavor and cut through the greasiness. Shredded Pork & Preserved Vegetable Noodle Soup雪菜肉絲麵: The noodles were thin and round, with a soft, mushy texture. While the noodles were clearly machine-made, this isn't a problem in the Yangtze River Delta region; the issue was likely overcooking. The shredded pork were well-stirred, with tender meat, but the noodles lacked flavor. They had to be eaten with the pickled mustard greens雪菜 to be slightly salty, and the umami flavor was severely diluted. The tableware is all disposable, and tipping is not mandatory. It's quite affordable.

Both Cantonese and Mandarin were seamlessly spoken. Shrimp Rice Roll / Egg: It looked very appealing. However, the soy sauce was ridiculously sweet, much sweeter than in China, completely exceeding the standard "umami and sweet" of the authentic Cantonese cheung fun腸粉 (rice roll) soy sauce. The cheung fun skin was somehow overcooked, so some parts without egg at the bottom were soggy from soaking in the soy sauce, making the whole roll quite greasy. I have to admire my culinary acumen: I managed to preserve most of the skin's basic texture with the extra egg. Fortunately, the shrimp were fresh enough, six in a serving, with a crispy texture. Oh well, since I'm in America, it's tolerable. I must say, I would never have come here specifically for this, never in my life. Spending $10+ on a plate of cheung fun after traveling so far, will make me feel more like a sucker than ever before!
