Great to see a good Boba Tea & Rolled Ice Cream shop up in the area! I will definitely come back and I'm excited to try different milk tea flavors. I bought the Thai milk tea with boba. I had to add some half and half creamer at home because the Thai tea was too sweet for my taste. Overall, boba was a good amount of chewy and soft. You dont see many bubble tea spots in the city. I loved the ones back in the burbs. This spot is in this large shopping complex. Very simple and modern/clean setup here. You order on the large pad and they will call out your name The tea was pretty solid, and the street is nice to nibble on.. Will say that thier cups are deff strategically designed to be narrow + a whole lotta ice = less volume of tea... overall pretty good though read more

Just no. After moving from the West coast, we immediately embarked on a mission to find good bubble tea around here. This is the closest to our house, but the bubble tea here is so disappointing- way too sweet, and not authentic tasting. Try Hello Jasmine in Lincoln Park for authentic bubble tea. We will consider coming back for rolled ice cream, and update review accordingly. read more

One of the best boba places around the area. Brown sugar boba is a definite favorite, a classic. Popcorn chicken is a bit less impressive but would still give it a try, the portions are worth it for a snack. It's very quaint and has a nice atmosphere - I think this is more of a spot to hang out with friends and chat than a spot for productivity. Bubble tea isn't as popular in Chicago as in other major cities in the US so there aren't many bubble tea spots (that are good) here but I'm glad this particular one is close to me. I've tried a bunch of flavors but really enjoy their infamous taro cloud with boba. It's a swirl of cheese foam and taro, and the boba balls are soft and chewy. And the taro is real! I saw some reviews complaining about how grainy it was, but like, this is the good stuff! Lots of boba spots use powder and that's so much lower in quality. I tend to stay away from those places, or at least just order fruit teas instead of their milk ones. The taro cloud is what made me a fan because it screamed authenticity and truly reminded me of real Taiwanese bubble tea drinks. I probably treat myself more often than I should here, but I'm not ashamed! Utilize the punch card they offer ;) read more

Discovered the place after looking for bubble tea spots "close" to the city driving wise with free parking. On their menu, they have mainly drink items and some food items. You can adjust the sugar level and ice level. Keep in mind though, if you ask for little to no ice, your drink "level" will reflect that. What I ordered: - Brown Sugar Boba Milk Tea: saw that it's one of their top rated items. Tried it and I would agree it's one of their better items. Ordered it with 50% sugar level. Already comes with boba in it. - Roasted Oolong Boba Milk Tea: you can definitely taste the roasted in this. Not a fan so I didn't order again. Already comes with boba in it. I've ordered Strawberry Milk Tea and Mango Milk Tea, but have not personally tried it. Both from the caffeine free menu. They have a section in their menu with caffeine free items which I assume that are aimed towards kids. My first time there, I ordered strawberry milk tea and they were out it. Because I didn't want to keep asking for what's in stock for a bubble tea joint, I asked the employee what's the next best thing to order for a child on the the caffeine free menu and he said, "it's all tea"... I think their bubble tea is okay, but not the greatest. It is a bit watered down. More so when they are busy on the weekends. Free parking is a good perk to have in a shopping center. They also have stamp reward cards. Overall, it is a good place to satisfy your bubble tea cravings. If I didn't already mentioned it before, FREE PARKING. read more

A little disappointed. My standard drink is the mango green tea with my usual adjustments- it's how I compare the quality of drinks from one place to another- and I have to admit the one I got here was not my favorite. If I say that KFT is average- then it falls short. The drink I got tasted a little artificial, it was not sweet at ALL (seemed like 25%) and it also seemed watered down. I also did notice the same thing as one of the reviewers- there is a cigarette smell in the shop, which was noticeable and off putting. read more

I'm so happy I found this place near my new neighborhood! Authentic flavors, helpful staff, and a convenient location close by Mariano's, Jewel Osco, and other retailers with a parking lot. I came on a Friday night around 8PM and there was some light traffic. They have a variety of teas, ranging from traditional teas, fruit slushes, fruit teas, milk teas, and you can customize with various toppings - tapioca, jelly, milk foam, etc. Quality and price wise - comparable to the bubble tea shops in Chinatown like Hello Jasmine, Tsaocaa, Bingo Tea, etc. Marginally fewer options, but they have my go-tos which are Regular, Jasmine or Roasted Oolong Milk Tea and Various Fruit Green teas (Mango, Grapefruit) so I am happy. I got the grapefruit green tea with milk foam (regular). I customized it to 50% sweetness. It was perfect. They also have matcha and pink salt milk foam. I think the one I normally get in Chinatown is the salted milk foam, so I will try that next time - the regular one I got didn't have that contrast that I was used to. I had some of my husband's roasted oolong milk tea with boba and that was pretty good too. You can tell they use real, quality tea leaves and none of that powdered stuff. The tapioca was a teensy bit chewier than I prefer, but I still devoured it. read more

Just the place that us Avondale-ians needed as Bingo is too far with limited parking and other places have poor boba quality. Did I mention they have a punch card? It's like a new and improved Jamba. I called to tell the girl about it and she apologized and said it was on her but didn't offer a resolution to replace my drink or offer to make me one that's actually drinkable. This was my favorite place but seeing how she didn't give me a replacement offer, I'm truly disappointed. I've been a loyal customer giving great reviews for the longest and I'm just bummed they offered me no replacement. She said she over blended it but it had no sign of ice and was mostly liquid form like she used too much artificially flavored syrup. The drink wasn't a smoothie. I also don't like how it gives the smoothie price but when you customize it only has the option to charge you one dollar and some change for the only cup size they offer. My 6 dollar drink came out to be almost 9 dollars with a free topping. I threw away the drink and went down the street to get a better tasting smoothie at Uni Uni. I can't believe I was served a really disgusting drink today.

Inflation hurts though because this was $17. I swear it was cheaper centuries ago. I was a little disappointed by my visit to this location this afternoon as the fries were super burnt and my favorite popcorn chicken was also very burnt and dry, very different from how these usually taste when I eat at the Chinatown location.
