They made us wait 25 minutes (quoted 20) for 2 people while they sat parties of 4 at 4-top tables. 2. The kick in the nuts came when the hostess allowed 2 guys to just walk in and sit down at a 2-top (we were next to be seated, by the way) without seeing the hostesses or putting their name on the list. When we confronted the situation 1 of the 2 hostesses says "I'm just one person!" Yes, sweetheart, you're one person who can walk your wussy butt over and do the necessary but difficult part of your job since you BOTH failed to prevent it in the first place. My husband and I ate at Ten3 on a busy Friday night. He ordered the Pork Chop medium and I got the shrimp wih Forbidden rice. His Pork chop came out raw so it had to be sent back. Meanwhile, I tried to wait for his meal and my dish quickly got cold. The shrimp and forbidden rice was Okay, but not fine dining level. The ambiance was very noisy for fine dining. Of course, the view was spectacular, but I would not consider the food "fine dining." What a beautiful time we had up at the restaurant at the tram. The scenery is as always breathtaking and the restaurant did not disappoint. This review is for the dinner, service and ambiance. The setting was beautiful. It was a long wait but it was very nice to back up here again. Dinner tasted amazing. I love that an amuse was included from the chef. The service was great- frequent checks for drinks/bread/water. The only thing why it didn't get the 5th star for me was we've already spent $$ on getting up there and the menu is quite small and steep $$$ and wouldn't even throw in a complimentary dessert as we are celebrating a birthday. On another note I understand that free dessert is not always the case and we are happy to pay that but the meal for myself which is standard 1 drink/cocktail, salad, entree, dessert was already 100$ including tax and tip and additional 25$ for the tram maybe next time a discount will soften the blow? Rest assured it was still a fantastic dinner. Will I go up the tram again and spend over 100$ to myself, in Albuquerque, definitely maybe. After sending back food twice due to hair and bugs in our food and being charged for both meals, we spoke to the manager. She was very unpleasant and did not return to confirm the situation was resolved: she grabbed the ticket, took the items off, then made our server take care of everything else. She did not return to us to make sure all was well and seemed like she was very unhappy to deal with customers. It made us feel like we were unimportant or wrong somehow... but nothing can deny that the bugs in our food weren't gnats (which she tried to explain as if gnats in the food is okay) and that hair in freshly delivered food is okay. As of May 15 2022, they do not allow to-go food, which is a first for me post pandemic. Did not say so on menu or website as of today. So if you hike to tram w dog, you will not be able to eat here at all, bcz no dogs inside AND no food outside. We were a little disappointed to find that the "casual dining" offered at the top of the tram ride had a 45 minute wait and nowhere inside the restaurant to wait in 30 degree temps but we made it through and sat down to eat. We even reconciled with spending $17 on a chicken sandwich. But - the waiter brought out completely the wrong entree, turns out he put in the wrong order. All right, mistakes happen, but an apology would have been nice. 20 minutes pass and we finally get the chicken sandwich and it's wrong AGAIN. Technically a chicken sandwich but not what we ordered and I can't eat it. Waiter looked perplexed and asked if he should make it again... well the restaurant closed 10 minutes ago and we'd sure like to get home so no. I'm literally eating packaged peanut butter crackers from my backpack because I'm starving when the waiter brings over the bill. "Are you going to adjust this since I couldn't eat my dinner?" Deer in headlights look, as if it never occurred to him we might be unhappy. We sit and sit and finally a manager comes over and says they can't refund the dinner because "someone ate it". Excuse me?? My husband had ONE bite so it wouldn't seem like a total loss. You just wasted TWO plates of food. "My hands are tied" says the manager. Wow. Just wow. No refund? No dessert? No $10 off? Maybe the manager really isn't allowed to offer a refund. But she SHOULD BE. What kind of customer service is that? Are you so desperate to get our $17? We had lunch (casual dining) after doing the tramway. I ordered The Bird burger and my bf had the steak frites. The chicken was really juicy, the cilantro sauce was flavorless and fried jalapeños didn't do much, over all burger was alright 5/10. My bf enjoyed the steak, he said it was 6.5/ 10. I had a margarita to drink, it was strong, good and full of flavor. But for whatever reason, it didn't come with a salted rim. What's a margarita without a salted rim?! Ten 3 was a delightful experience. We had planned on going to Sandiago's, but the offer of Ten 3 was too good to pass up. It was very nice compared to the old 90s, wood- panelled, cafeteria hot-chocolate style restaurant. We were seated by the window, but unfortunately there weren't any blinds to block the sunshine from coming in. Our waiter was friendly and several other servers stopped by to check on us at the end and ask for any boxes we might need. Now, I'm getting ahead of myself. I got the green chile mac & cheese (per our server's recommendation- a huge serving topped with a heaping of bacon and tomatoes). My friends got the smoked brisket sandwich (a messy but tasty looking concoction), the grassfed smash burger topped with green chile, and the grilled chicken breast sandwich with focaccia and goat cheese (what would've been my second choice). When we became inpatient we asked if we could get 2 separate tables(splitting our party). We got seated immediately. Huh? Food was OK. Pricey. Service, meh. Might come back to sit at bar and have a drink if only 2 of us. It appears they have a difficult time accommodating parties of 5 or more if you want to sit at the same table. read more

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! I have never written a bad review in my life but this is the most horrible service I've ever gotten! NEVER in my life have my family and I been treated like such trash by a restaurant. We were two families with three little kids two of which were really little. When we were seated we were told that we had to sit at two different adjacent tables but that there was no way that we would be allowed to sit together because their policy seats up to 8 people and we were 9. However they said, because we had come in as 9 people, despite not being allowed to sit next to each other at a single table, they would definitely be forcing us to pay the automatic 20% gratuity fee that comes with parties of 6+ people. (Mind you a 20% fee when the prices are completely over the top already). When we told them it was unreasonable for them to force us to pay when they wouldn't allow us to sit together by combining the tables, the manager actually came out to YELL at us and talk to us in a tone I could not even imagine was happening in real life and kicked us out because we asked to either sit together or sit apart but then not be treated as a group for the gratuity. The waitress was very nice but you could see the fear in her eyes when she said she needed to ask her manager. Given the way they treated us, I cannot imagine how they treat their staff. me n my hubby went for our 3 year anniversary dinner, first time ever here also first time doing the tram. The view up was gorgeous, only takes 15 minutes total a trip. When we got to the restaurant, omg was it beautiful. We got off the tram & the short little walk there was beautiful with all the bright trees & pathway. We were expecting it to be freezing cus u know we're in the mountains, nope it was literally perfect weather. Our reservation was 630 & we got there just about 632. We got seated about 3 minutes later by a nice host. Our server was very helpful with the menu & telling us chefs special of the day while we waited on our drinks. We both got filet of beef, it was filling and delicious. We both really enjoyed our experience, give it a 10/10. One thing though , on the menu for the ten 3 margarita it says it's about 16$, but when we received our check they were 18$ ): might just wanna update your menu prices, but it's not enough to take a start away from the experience(: thank you guys ! read more

A good meal marred by lack of attention to details. Very good service, my filet was good, Ceasar salad was wonderful. Roll were dry....not crisp....dry. the risotto was not creamy....very pasty and thick...but decent flavor, and the foie gras was tepid and very different from what I have had before. Not a fan. We had a guest in town, so we wanted to take them up the mountain for the views and have a nice lunch. We waited almost an hour and a half after being told 30 to 40 minutes. There is literally only a handful of items on the menu that are just basic bar food with nothing particularly outstanding about it. The service was good, and the food was okay, but the price is outrageous. We ordered 3 hamburgers and 1 pasta dish, wings and chips/dips, 1 hot chocolate, 1 beer and 1 mule. The total for this, with a $40 tip, was $230. Those views aren't worth an $11 beer. Yes the beer was really $11. I will make sure to pack my own food and beverages up there the next time. We could have eaten at a local brewery with better food and drinks for a fraction of the cost after enjoying the crest. Lesson learned. read more

I've been here before and eaten in the fine dining section and I have NEVER been disappointed. Everything I've ever ordered has always been super delicious. This time we sat in the bar side and ordered a variety of appetizers Our waitress Madison was very sweet, attentive and helpful and were seated right away. We ordered: The Chip Trio - I am really picky about guac, queso and salsa and let me tell you they were all SO GOOD. Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail -I am not a fan of cocktail sauce. Ever. But this was absolutely delicious because they add green chili and I think lime which gives it a spectacular New Mexican flair. Truly changed my whole experience and thoughts about shrimp cocktail!) Tuna Salmon Tartare (Super fresh and delicious. The chef even came over and explained how they make the Soy caviar, never seen that before and it was a very neat and yummy touch.) The portion was so big that I had enough for a meal the next day. My waiter did an excellent job checking in on me and keeping my water filled! I came with my husband on a Wednesday evening, which you wouldn't expect to be that busy, but it was slammed. We were just planning on having a drink and maybe an appetizer, since they were going to be closing in less than two hours. We sat at the bar and had to wait way too long to even be acknowledged, so we just ordered drinks and no food. The drinks were fine but pretty overpriced, which I guess is to be expected at a place like this. Shortly after getting our drinks, a MASSIVE group of people that were all together infiltrated the bar, which was already understaffed. The bartender was clearly overwhelmed and wasn't handling it well. We waited for probably an hour to get his attention, and we finally just had to flag him down and beg for our check so that we wouldn't miss the last tram back down the mountain. I have no idea how the rest of the people in the restaurant ever cashed out in time to catch the tram. So yeah, once they figure out how to adequately staff this place, it will probably be really nice. I just hope they don't rely too heavily on their location and forget to provide quality service. read more

Ok. So I had a reservation. I was aware of the dress code but honestly , figured it's Albuquerque. I arrive with a crop top and backpack I have a lifetime of wearing cheap , scandalous clothing and it finally caught up with me. The hostess approached me and let me know I could not be seated on the fancy side due to my attire. She was apologetic and promised me a table in what I now considered the "kid" side. Over all I prob saved a ton not paying for the high prices in the fancy area , but I did wanna see the sunset did I mention my mom has told me to throw out the sweater I was wearing. Owell. Never come to this racist restaurant. Our group of five Asians tried to make a dinner reservation the day before but were told it was full. We still wanted to try our luck the next day as we really liked this restaurant. After we arrived, we found that there were a lot of vacancies, so we asked the front desk if we could walk in, and they said yes, it would take an hour, and then we reserved the seat by the window. An hour later, the manager came and told us that the window seat could not seat five people at the same time, so we needed a table for three and a table for two. The reason is that two people cannot sit by the window, at least 3-4 people can. So the two of us sat against the wall. During the meal, since the seats around my friend were still empty, we asked again if we could sit next to my friend, which is by the window. But the manager turned us down again. Then a few minutes later, we found out that the empty seats by the window were arranged for two people to eat, yes, they are not Asian faces. Maybe only Asians can't sit by the window for two. Visited the fine dining portion for my birthday, my husband made the reservations and informed them it was my birthday. He was very impressed how it was suggested to him to buy his team tickets ahead of time, what time to get to the Tram amd the dress code. We did not have to wait in line to ride the tram since we had reservations which was nice. The ambiance of the fine dining portion was nice and peaceful. No loud music or loud talking which was appreciated. I received a birthday card signed by the staff waiting for me at the table which was a nice gesture. Our waiter Aaron was extremely nice and helpful when we informed him this was our first visit. I was a little taken back that we felt over dressed but that's ok we were there for a special occasion. I had the ahi tuna and it was so delicious!! Husband had the prime rib and it was huge and melt in your mouth good. Hands down best meal I've had. read more

My family and I just moved here and we were excited to try this new restaurant. Later that evening my newborn got sick and we couldn't make it to the reservation. Called that night, and 3 days in a row after that and was told every time I would get a call back from a manager and never did. I finally spoke to the general manager over a week later and he was not willing to refund the $100 fee and was not empathetic whatsoever. Said it was a business and that by not making it we were hurting his business. I will never make a reservation for the restaurant again. Very disappointing. read more

This was our second time here since they opened, and first time back since COVID. I wont be back or bring guests here ever again. On 5 July 2020, the manager chased our party of 7 out after he called my wife and mother in law liars in front of other customers. He noted they lied to the hostess by saying that we had a party of 6, when they really reported that they requested a table for 6 adults AND one child (1 person over covid maximum). Then he followed us out and started yelling at us with his foot half way out the door. Not very classy, especially for the price tag associated with eating up there. The price of the Sandia Pink was $15 on the menu yet the tall male bartender told me the price was $16. I gave him a $20 and expected to give him $2 as a tip from the change. Well, he simply kept the change from my $20. I believe tipping is MY choice, not the bartender's. I give 1 star because is not a 0 one. The host here was rude with my friend. Trying to correct the ISSUE appears on scene a manager then quite honest I don't know were the owner hire or promote this person. He don't know how to handle a easy situation, get upset and try to belittle my complaint instead of resolved (LACK OF PROBLEM RESOLUTION). On top of that appear another manager "TRIYNG" to resolve the issue then the other left in the table. I told him then the way they treat me was rude and he replies to me then I WAS RUDE TOO. Never in my Long Hospitality Career saw a manager do replies to a guest calling the guest "RUDE", that blows my mind. If one of my managers told that to my guest that, as a GM of the restaurant, that manager get a great write up or fired for broke the first rule of HOSPITALITY in a restaurant. Such a rookie behavior deserve been addressed by the owner. Please do not hide bad management skills excusing those skills on the COVID 19 . I was very disappointed in this facility. I took my adult son and my 6 year old for a tram ride and hike to the stone house. We had great fun and it brought back memories of hiking the La Luz trail, skiing at the peak etc. After hiking we stopped back at Ten 3 and were going to have a couple adult beverages and a lemonade. They would not admit us to the bar because of the grandson in the party. We would told the adults could go in with the grandson remaining outside which is not a family friendly nor safe idea. We then asked to go to the restaurant and were informed it would be a 90 minute wait. There is no reasonable reason that after a hike that the only facility to obtain a beverage would institute such a rule. Accordingly I would recommend you avoid this facility. Accordingly we left and got an adult beverage and a lemonade after departing the tram. read more

Rudest hostess, Nikki, I've ever encountered - greeted us as we were waiting in 23 degrees outside (March 20th) to tell us 10 minutes and there would be bar and casual seating - I said we've heard the burgers are great - is it one restaurant or 2? Her response was - if you bother me too much and keep me from my work, I'm going to have a problem with you. She even made some gesture towards us that was really uncomfortable. Wow! There was only our group and a family waiting outside bc of the terrible weather. Not a big crowd. We were so thrown by her attack, we were speechless. Then when she opened the door a few minutes after 11- she announced there was no view today bc of the snow. But we were thankful she wasn't the hostess we saw when we were seated - we had 5 in our party - the different hostess told us we'd be at side by side tables and we could push them close - which was fine. Then Nikki came up and erased everything and told her something different. She tried to seat 2 at a high top and 3 at regular table across the aisle. We asked her if 2 could sit at the side by side table and were told no bc they be used to seat groups of more than 2 and pushing the tables closer might obstruct the view for those across the aisle (remember there was NO view bc of clouds and snow - Nikki had already announced that) Another in my group got the manager (a woman) - she let us pull a 5th chair up at our table for 4. Then at the 2 tables beside us where 4 could sit they proceeded to seat 2 people at each table. I've attached pictures of the 'view' and Nikki - that's what we understand was her name. What should have been a completely pleasant experience was tense - every time Nikki passed by it was uncomfortable. Food was fine and our server was adequate.
