Wow! This was disgusting - working nights and hungry so a few of us got together and ordered pizza. They were a 15 min drive for delivery so we were expecting a hot meal. Instead we received room temp pizza. The crust had zero taste and dried out with the consistency of cardboard, without the sturdiness. The pizza fell apart covering me in toppings. The sauce was tasteless red stuff topped with a congealed pasty white mess I think was cheese. The pepperoni & jalapeños provided the only taste. I could only choke down 1 piece. That 1 slice cost me a severe case of heartburn and 25% of a $50 bill - including delivery fee and a tipHopefully this review will prevent you from insulting your tastebuds! read more

Is there any chance I can place less stars? What a mess! Staff is unresponsive, unprofessional, un-ANYTHING!!! I order a coke and a water. 20 minutes later, the gal comes back and want to charge me $6. I say "$6 for a coke and a water?" The gal said "Oh, I thought you had two cones and a water.....$5". Really!!?? I saw her pour tap water into a glass and serve it and a coke can poured into a glass! What a S@IT show! Not only will I NEVER return, but I would discourage anyone from going there! Looking at the prices they have for food: totally unrealistic!! Asking you to pay a premium on microwaved food is total crap! Unbelievable!!! I am beside myself on this place. Not that anyone would seriously consider attending this dive in the first place but in the event you are doing your research prior to going, AVOID!!!! read more

A real rock n roll joint!! Reminds of me of Star Bar in Atlanta. It's a real niche joint with great food and a real punk rock vibe! We need places like this to survive. Live Music is not meant to be played in sports bars with 30 TVs and and some tight ass telling the band to turn down the volume. I hope this place can survive. I love it!!! read more

This spot is a mess. They operate under the name "the Boogie Pizza Company" on UberEats. They charge us $25 for a large pizza that has dough half baked. Their food is disgusting. One could do better by placing toppings over frozen pizza read more

Very cool place! The owner was awesome and treated us like family the minute we walked in. Seating is tight, so be prepared to snuggle in. Food was homemade and filling. read more

This place has everything! Chandeliers. Blood red walls. And, the ghost of Uncle Rico. /Stefon Seriously, this is a little bitty place with big character. The service is slow and a little confused, but super friendly. It's a tiny venue and it's loud, but it's totally intimate. Bring earplugs just in case. I did not eat, but the pickle pizza looks and smells amazing. read more

Not sure if this and 1957, but that is what they go under on door dash. I am told they are the same place, and change names on different apps because of so many bad ratings. The food was disgusting. Pizza wasn't cooked fully and then I got a spaghetti sandwich with no flavor or no meatballs. Wouldn't recommend their food under any circumstances. They need a new chef/new menu. It's way overpriced for how bad the quality is on the food. I've never had food from a place that was so nauseating and disappointing at the same time. read more

Ok so on doordash its called 1957 but this is the actual name of the place There this pizza place in Albuquerque called 1957 well you should of kept your food there in 1957 because that shit absolutely trash. Now I'd never bash a restaurant unless it was absolutely necessary. But yall need to go ahead and close down because your food is so bad LittleCeasers PepperoniPizza got yall beat they got that thick ass wonder bread crust tfthen on top of that who tf make pasta with no butter or olive oil on your noodles. It's like they took tomato paste and mixed it with water and said here you go PASTA ALA TRASH I can't find a Facebook page for them and there lucky j can't read more

Yikes, this place is a total dump. It's dirty, all the staff seemed to be inebriated in some way and the decor tries too hard to be early 90s goth. It could be considered campy at best, but that's definitely not the intention . It's ridiculous and just tacky. Went around 10 on a Saturday night and there was about half a dozen people there. The bartender could apparently barely communicate and the beer was incredibly over priced. I can't imagine eating here...it's filthy and smelly. I was completely uncomfortable and felt horribly unwelcome. I couldn't get out of this place fast enough. The feeling is just unsafe and very creepy vibes. If you're looking for dive bars, there are places that don't make you feel like you're going to go missing from stopping in for a drink. Skip this place ! read more

Ordered 2 pizzas from here. They were supposed to have fun green chile crust but both came plain and I'm not sure I've ever had a worse crust. The cheese pizza came with no sauce and the 2 chile pizza was sopping wet down through the crust and leaking out of the box like crazy. The food was meant as a little splurge treat for my girlfriend and I but we each tried a slice and are just going to toss the rest. Literally any pizza is better - I used to get elementary school lunch pizza at my old job that tasted better. The lady working there was nice and even offered me a free pizza they had extra of but to be honest I'm glad I turned down the offer as I'd feel worse throwing away more food. The guy making the food seemed really grumpy. I would feel bad giving this pizza away to someone for free. read more

I ordered from "Boogie Pizza Company" because I had a coupon on Uber Eats and I was craving a good pizza. I chose the wrong restaurant for that. The menu was a little confusing at first, but then I figured out how to order. I got the Bira Pizza and, out of whimsy, ordered the Addict (which is the chocolate cake pizza). The Bira Pizza tasted great and was better than I thought it would be. The Addict was a waste of money. I threw it away. The chocolate sauce was okay, but the cake toasted out and became dry on the pizza. And the overwhelming bitterness of the low quality chocolate, dollops of raw flour, and bland crust make it inedible. My biggest complaint is that whoever runs this kitchen has done zero research on how to make pizza. The crust is terrible and the same crust seems to be used on all the pizzas. First, the crust is very bland: you can taste the flour and there is lack of fat and seasoning. Secondly, the crust is way too thick: it's like trying to eat a loaf of bread that your kids made for the first time with every bite. And finally, who makes pizzas by rolling the dough!? Pizza dough is supposed to be stretched so you get an even, thin layer of dough that can crisp up on the bottom. Because they roll the dough, the crust has pressed layers of bread that don't hold together. Additionally, they bake the pizzas on flour instead of corn meal so that adds more disappointment to every bite. You can get better pizza from a high school cafeteria. Or just get one of those $1 pizzas in the freezer section of the grocery store. No wonder "Boogie Pizza Company" isn't even their real business name. It looks like they go by different names in various apps based on the other reviews. read more

Incredibly Overpriced (see picture). Paid 6.50 for barely any queso, and it was awful too. Don't order the queso.. not sure about their other food but you're better off ordering queso from literally anywhere else. read more

Red Velvet Underground - I paid 6.50 for this much queso... a joke. Overpriced. Don't eat here. - Bars Near Me - Albuquerque, New Mexico

If I could give this place 0 stars I would based solely of the food. Worst spaghetti we've ever been served... More like dogfood than anything resembling edible. Fed to our chickens to save the dogs. Accompanying salad was wilted and the bread was barely cooked and doughy. These are all things they can't blame the Uber driver for. How on earth does anyone mess up spaghetti and meatballs? read more

Have never been to Velvet Underground. Some are saying Boogie Pizza is a different name they use. The place I ordered from is in Nob Hill. The pizza I rec'd was huge and cheap, and decent. So I'm confused. Velvet Underground or Boogie Pizza? read more

I went to see a friend perform and was really impressed with the venue! It's such a breath of fresh air from the usual, with incredibly friendly staff, artistic and interesting decoration and everything was full of character. All I had to eat was chips and queso but it was really good, I hope to try more food next time I go there. A little pricy but worth it. The music was loud so brace yourself for that. All in all would highly recommend read more

The Red Velvet Underground has an extensive selection of beers and food. I did not try the food, but will in the future. I enjoyed an excellent concert there. The venue did not charge a cover, but suggested a $5 donation. I donated more. The seating was comfortable and some of it was close to the stage. The restrooms were clean. The service was very good. I look forward to visiting the club for a meal and a beer. I hope to see additional concerts at this venue. The provided business telephone number isn't answered reliably. read more

Creepy and hideously decorated. None of the chairs at the bar are stable and mine was definitely broken and I pointed it out to the owner and she didn't care. We stopped in for a quick drink and a bite to eat and it was awful. Way overpriced pizza for what we received. The owner is also the bartender and cook when we stopped in. Open mic night was starting and the people we were privy to watch were talentless at best. We'll never go there again. read more

I found an excellent beer list and the music room was very comfy and casual! I have been here a few times and I always feel welcomed by super friendly staff! The food was delicious and I will definitely go back. read more

I used to be a regular here and will no longer be returning. I came with a few friends and most of us ordered 1 mix drink and you could taste little to no alcohol in it. My boyfriend ordered a Modelo beer and was charged $8 for one bottle. You can go to a store for and buy an entire pack for that price. I understand businesses are suffering during this time but earning your money by over charging drinks and barley putting any liquor in the mix drinks is scam. Especially to loyal customers is just not cool. If I could give it zero stars I would. read more

This location has a lot of potential but some fatal flaws need to be addressed. The food is not appetizing and is way overpriced. I ordered a sausage ravioli which took over 30 minutes and when it arrived it was cold. I believe it was Costco ravioli with a cheap brought-worst and canned tomato sauce. Also, I felt sick after eating it and was genuinely worried about food poisoning. The bar staff moves at a glacial pace and I had to remind them several times of my order. The owner is kind and means well but desperately needs an experienced bartender and at least one server. Staff should be warm and welcoming. A simple "hey guys" or "welcome" means the world to customers, especially new ones. With that said, it is a quirky little place and the owner wants to create a unique atmosphere, but she needs a staff that will back her up. Also, reconsider your prices or provide food worthy of the cost. read more

The food was so expensive. They also charge to run a card. Had the "special" which was supposed to be $10.00 which included a drink. However for 3 meals it was over $60.00, was given a handwritten receipt. The spaghetti was over cooked with jarred Ragu sauce. The meatball that was deep fried that almost doubled the meal cost was so over done couldn't be cut into with a fork. The salad had so much dressing it was like soup. Cokes were from 2 liter bottles. The bathroom was the filthiest place I had ever seen looks like it was last cleaned....never. Felt sick all night after, no telling what the kitchen looks like. read more
