My favorite "big club" in Denver. With two main rooms, one is a huge stage and dance floor with multi level viewing areas, while the other is smaller and more intimate. Love going here to dance the night away and the drinks aren't too pricey as one would think. So grab your dancing partner and head over to Temple. read more

Music was good. Paid way to much for drinks. For some reason, the business wants to create a challenge for those who want to drink while enjoying the music. No idea why. Tried putting my drink on a nearby speaker. The staff comes by and informs me "no can do". Ok, fine. I'll put it far away from the dancing. Nope. They swipe that too. You can pretty much refer to my review of Beta here. Its another warehouse rave that calls itself a club to stay legal. which is cool. Drinks are meh, over priced. Security did seem a bit disorganized but did their job. Sound system was comparable to Beta's but less consistent - at times better mixed mids and highs let through some really cool melodies almost completely distortion free, which sounded awesome. Other times the highs peaked and really just hurt your ears. Light show was fantastic! roof-to-wall lights behind the DJ were well used. Whole place used contrast effectively to make the whole place fun to look at (and I wasn't even on anything ;) ! ) Crowd vibes were pretty good, better than all too many clubs - I saw a pretty hardstyle oriented duo (Yellow Claw) and near moshpits broke out with all the jumping, but thankfully no fight broke out. (a few glares got the would be moshers to chill out. I love a good pit but this was not the right genre and most the crowd wasnt into it). For the most part people danced and jumped and had a good time, the sticks-up-their-pink-polo-shirt-wearing-asses didnt lash out at anyone. If bottle service/vip is your thing, the lounges looked really fun and lit up, but they are right in there with the commoners, so I guess it depends on what you're looking for. Come to rave or don't bother. there's better conversation and mixology in other parts of town. read more

Saw Sander Van Doorn here and it was rad, with one drawback. Pros: - awesome whole-room light setup - good layout, not really a bad spot - coat check - reasonable cover for big name DJs ($20 for SVD) - insane sound setup - good looking staff Cons: - the sound is ridiculously loud (Beta style), bring earplugs if you care about your hearing at all. Obviously the music is the selling point for a club, but they could easily turn it down and it would in my opinion be a better experience. The volume is so intense that it's hard to go here very often. If they turned it down from "insanity" to just "loud", I would definitely hit up Temple more often. Seems like it would be better for business. read more

Probably one of the better club experiences here in Denver. Mimics a more chill Vegas vibe, which I like. The club is nice and the scene doesn't get too out of hand. There are bigger DJs that come and those are the most fun nights. I have had a bad night here and it's always a good time. I celebrated my birthday here one year and Temple is one of the only clubs that has a true VIP service. Alecus Khanthaphixay was my guy and he never failed. He's responsive, reliable and a damn good time! If you're looking for more of a VIP experience, I highly recommend Alecus. read more

THE BEST CLUB IN DENVER. The club itself brings the big nightclub experience to Denver. Never have we had a club on this level and it's so great to see one here. The music booking that has been coming throughout 2018 has been top notch. Great artists coming to a club that puts on a great production. Multiple stages, multiple floors, and tons of bars so you never have to wait for too long. John and Brooks, along with all of their staff, are always a joy to see. They're all super friendly and really put the customer's experience first. What more can you ask for in a club? Sold out DJs are completely oversold. Temple- Sell less tickets for a more enjoyable event rather than milking every dollar you can. No space to move or dance- seems like an unsafe crowd. The staff is very aggressive. I watched them literally dragging people out and taking down bystanders with them. Women were completely down on the floor from being knocked down by the staff who were trying to escort a man out. Hostile environment, lack of ample room makes the crowd angsty. The entrance is difficult to find. No dress code, more of a trashy/dirty club. I read online that there is coat check but personally couldn't locate it... (where the heck is it?) which seems ridiculous since the staff physically throws you out into the cold when the show ends. read more

Never have I been more appalled and displeased with a night club experience in all my time of growing up here in Denver! I've been here 31 year's and never had to deal with such poor management, poor disorganization skill's, poor communication all around. I didn't feel welcomed neither did my guest's. let me first off say it's not very professional @Temple to lose a V.I.P guests credit card and blame it on the client when we had not even started drinking yet at our table. This was just the start of the terrible night about to unfold. A few hours ltr went by and my friends had left our table and went downstairs to see the headliner's set. I was winded after dancing and had been feeling dehydrated, so I separated from my friends and walked to the down stairs bar and had ordered a water, At first I had no problems getting water at all. After a few minutes ltr I had finished that water and was still thirsty so I had asked the bartender for a refill, This time it was a snotty nosed bar back that rudely confronted me by discarding my cup with ice still in it and then tried to trick me into paying 3$ for a new free water cup... I had confronted him on why I had to pay when I wasn't charged in the first place..?? I was called a "crack head and told to leave.." At this point in the night I had felt very disrespected by the bar back that had clearly insulted me because of my eye condition. Hey dumbass! I had surgery when I was younger on my eyes.. I will not tolerate the disrespect. ohh yea, and we can't forget about the overdramatized theatrics of the female bartender jumping on the table trying to have the bar backs back acting like she's a damn t- Rex trying to scare me off when I had politely asked for my friend who worked security to come down so I could speak with a manager about this incident that occurred and resolve this like adults. Next thing you know I'm being escorted to the back stair well with a dead phone away from my friend's who have my car keys.. no way of getting ahold of them. the manager was kind enough to meet me and address that an investigation will be done with this matter And that he was still kicking me out for no reason. I have a feeling that bar back wasn't repremended for any of his actions that night. Keep in mind I'm sober during this whole interaction at the bar. I've never felt more discriminated at a night club in all my life. What an absolute shit show! I will definitely not be interested in giving you clowns any of my future business! The bathroom situation is ridiculous here. I've been here twice and both times the lines are insane. It doesn't help that so many stalls are out of order. Last night I only had to go to the bathroom twice and I spent over an hour in total waiting to go to the bathroom. Such a buzz kill. Go to the club just to wait in lines for bathrooms. read more

We went here for NYE 2018 to see one of my personal favorite DJs Benny Benassi. It was an awesome show! One is my favorite NYEs to date! What that can I say, the complaints I have really aren't about the club itself, the staff did a great job of removing people that had overdone the evening. The dance floor was great, but the main floor had several private table areas which take up about a third of the real estate from the main floor which means you get really sandwiched so there's not really a lot of room to dance when it's crowded. Drinks are reasonably priced. We were a bit confused because the website says there's a no jeans dress code but there were lots of people wearing them so maybe it's just not updated? All in all we had a very memorable night and I think we'll be back! read more

So me and my friends, we got a table here at third floor on a Friday night, we are inviting some other ppl to join our party and everything went so well. Later when I out and picked up my friends, the security guys said" you're not supposed to enter in again, that's our rule", and I'm like " why?? I'm the clients here, we got a table and I'm here to pick up my friends, why can't we go back?" Without any explaining, they are like " no ma'am you ve been kicked out and said they are going to call police to end this chaos. Just caught the SOLD OUT Nelly show here this past Wednesday and it was EPIC. Place was packed with beautiful people and the drinks were flowin! My friends locked in a table and the VIP experience was 5 star service from the gentlemen at the door to the beautiful cocktail waitress who assisted us. she refused to let us pour our own drinks! Went to an event here and have never been more disappointed. I was looking forward to checking out this place for the first time, but after they way I was treated, I'm not sure I will ever come back. A promoter told me about the place, got me on the list, and I was checking it out to see if it is the place I wanted to get bottle service for a party coming up. The guys working the front door were nice, but inside the staff was very rude. There was a side room open with an extra bar, coat check, and what appeared to be another dance floor. There was a small area that was a little bit quieter so I could talk to my boyfriend. I walked into the room to scope out the place and got treated like I was stupid and was told I wasn't allowed to be in there even tho there were other people in the room, and it was not blocked off. I was approached by a man who was rude and aggressive with me for no reason. I explained to him that I had never been and just wanted to see the place and if they didn't want people there they should block it off or something not just be rude. Then he got some huge security guy to come bully me out of the room. I'm 5'2", so there is no reason to get a huge guy to come bully me. They could have just asked nicely or explained to me that the room was closed. I have worked in clubs and bars for many years so I understand the importance of security and cooperation but most problems can be solved very easily with some communication and asking for what you want. There is no need to be rude and escalate matters. Also, they were doing drink specials until 11. I got one round at 10:25 but when I went back to the bar at 10:45 for one last round, none of the bar tenders were taking orders, so a huge line pilled up. As soon as 11 came, they started taking orders again and said they would not do the deal for us. It seems rude when you advertised service industry specials but then purposely don't take orders for 15 minutes to avoid giving out the deal? I gave two stars because the actual place is cool. The lights, art, and displays are the best I've seen in Denver. It's a shame the staff ruin the vibe. read more

Aaron Marshall sold us a table and 10 min before we were suppose to show up sent a text saying "you were outbid" for the table he already promised. And he did not ever say there was a possibility of someone "over bidding". This isn't how you do business? This is shady business. They don't bring out the headliner until 12:30, whereas venues in Detroit bring out the talent, in house, tech house, deep house and techno - by 10:00. Possibly the weakest club ever opened in Denver, yes ever. Staff outside very friendly and that was the highlight. Staff inside very detached, unable to serve drinks, or deal with the riff-raff. This was not a friendly crowd, and the cage around the dance floor was uncomfortable and restrictive. It was dirty, no coat check, and the sound system well not impressive at all. I showed up for a comped ladies table tonight and decided to get bottle service which was a 750 ml bottle of Tito's for $300. Before I bought it I made sure the $300 would be charged and the rest would be cash in the moment they charged my $480.94 and an ADDITIONAL charge. After I already asked our service girl and manager the procedure of bottle charges because we wanted to pay THE REST in cash. Great completely happy to help if on top of their $300 for a $23.99 bottle of Tito's we paid $104 for gratuity. We complied knowing the environment we were in. Okay here's the twist we as an allllll female group paid over $404 after the additional charges on our spot and bottle service we were getting getting kicked out of our spot we paid in full for by the security guards friends that didn't drop a dime. I have videos and if this doesn't get handled your Asian fake Jon security guard with your actual real security guard Chris who was professional and honest will be exposed of letting randoms in, when we paid $400+ section i Paid for and that Asian guy you Joseph Swirkowski and Logan Campbell asked to allow us a good time for which we freely paid for with your bottle girl Lexi and asked for nothing else then allowing us what we paid forget you further denied us after we already spoke We specifically said we want no comp no leisure on funds well this is where you fail. Maybe if they didn't need to get all their customers by bringing everyone in on free guest lists, they could actually afford to pay their bathroom attendants who claim they make $0/hour and post their venmo on the mirror for tips. Would have a better bathroom experience and might actually want to tip if the stalls had locks on the doors. Aside from the pretty cool lighting and sound system, Temple doesn't have too much going for them. Came here to see Vicetone and while their music was great, everything up until they came out was very generic. Drink prices are ok, it's the most "Vegas-y" club Denver has for sure, but that's about all the hype to it. Crowd didn't get crazy full that night and it feels more like a boujee amphitheater than anything. The bouncer was also quite rude and that's just an instant turnoff for me. Maybe someday I'll give them another shot, but for right now they're not my cup of tea. read more
