Best espresso in Sacramento now in Folsom! This location has a fantastic patio area, a decent amount of indoor seating for small groups and the same amazing coffee. Service is decent, you're not gonna get a friendly barista here most times because they know you're coming here anyways. Oh well, the person ringing you up is usually nice though!

Finally made it here after a friend had said it's her favorite in Sac...there was a line out there door, so e we waited figuring it must be worth the wait. The line moved along. We ordered a cold brew and a hot molasses chai. The cold brew was bitter at first seemingly an iced coffee rather than actual cold brew. The chai was good but only filled to an inch from the top of the cup. The staff was very nice. There were a couple displays of retail merch to browse you would pass through while in line. There is also a bakery display at the register. A nice little cafe with indoor and outdoor seating. I might go back when I'm the area and if there's not a terrible wait.

After giving temple a few more tries- this has definitely become one of our go-to coffee spots here in Folsom. There's been some misses, like the matcha latte, but many hits. The vanilla latte is robust and creamy, but my favorite drink now is the London fog- served in a tea pot. 5 stars!

Never been to Temple before. Always seen it when in Sacramento but when I moved out here thought I would give it a try. I tried their seasonal Ginger Snap Latte. Very good! Not overly sweet at all. Cute little spot near various restaurants and shops. Plenty of party which is helpful.

Overpriced with little to no espresso. Bought a large iced sugar free vanilla latte and got only 1 shot of espresso. The drink tastes like sugar milk. Paid $8 and was prompted for a tip on top of that. Very disappointing.

My experience today at temple n Folsom was a powerhouse of excellence. From the barista taking our order while we were still in line to the cashier letting us joke around and finally pick our pastries with a laughing good time. Sights: Space and beauty really make this temple location pop with plenty of room either inside or outside. You can get your coffee on in almost any style and let's not forget the legit taste of their espresso and tasty signature drink options to accompany it. Food: Today I got a redeye and I could taste delicious Dharma espresso accented by the drink on tap for today. My buddy got a latte and enjoyed it as well as a scone, I definitely want to go back from some vegan pastries they have as well. Since temple was little I've been following these guys as a Bay Area native and to see the growth, distribution, and locations, it's so cool. Even the bathroom here is gorgeous! Thanks y'all- keep killen it! Jeff's Elite TIP: Order: 1:1 latte with your choice of milk. This means you'll get a shot of dharma espresso by itself and one shot of espresso In Your drink. Clear your palette and try the espresso first. You won't be disappointed!

Stopped in this morning after working out at my Pilates class, needed a pick me up! So I thought I'd try this coffee place. I walked in - the ambience was warm and inviting. The baristas were friendly asked me if I wanted a specific coffee roast. I went with what he suggested, which was amazing. I ended up having a cappuccino and their strawberry donut. Will be back again!

Walking in the inside was clean and organized. There was a bit of a line but it went pretty quickly. It was our first time so we were taking awhile looking at the menu. The young lady in the register helped us her name was Mire she was so nice she literally made my day . She was super nice and attentive. Once we received our coffees and hot chocolates they were all so delicious. My latte came with some cute art on top of it . They made the whipped cream in house so it tasted really good . We also purchased some chocolate bars to take home . They were very good. Overall , I would definitely come back here again . The customer service and coffee was 10/10 .The ambience was very chill and calm .

Absolutely one of the finest coffee shops I've visited. I travel for work, and love to seek out local coffee shops. I have been coming to Temple every day for the past 3 weeks. Everything I've had is one of the best, if not THE best, version of that thing that I've had. The iced drip coffee is better than any cold brew and as good or better than any iced pour over I've had. Pastries are all from a couple local bakeries. I purchased some coffee beans, loose tea, and pastries to take home with me, but I wish I could take the whole store! You know the place is good when the line is out the door. The atmosphere is lovely as well. I really can't say enough good things about this place, and I'll miss seeing the friendly staff every day.

I truly am a fan of good down to earth coffee. I find Pete's down the road to have great cold brew, but F*^k bud. This is some fine coffee, truly do recommend it. Not to mention the staff is warm and inviting. The atmosphere is trendy, which is what Folsom and ELDO is all about. It definitely is a much better addition to Folsom than any other coffee shop. read more

Top coffee shop. The beans are excellent for home drip and cold brew DIYers. The house cold brew and seasonal cold brews are excellent and the cheese danish is to die for. Might be the best cheese danish ive ever had. Don't show up too late in the mornings or the pastries in the Folsom location are long gone. read more

I love this place already!! I walked in and a gentleman grabbed my attention by showing me the menu and recommending a drink. I went with an Iced Latte with Oat Milk and my best friend went with a Mexican Mocha, and we both loved our drinks. The sweet girl at the register with the awesome VW beetle tat really enticed us with getting a zucchini walnut muffin and boy it was delicious! I remember the first time I sipped on Temple was at one of their shops in downtown Sacramento (they have several locations). I thought it was love at first sip and always made time to grab a cup when visiting the area. Now that I recently re-located to Folsom, I was sooo happy to see there was a Temple so close by to where I live. The coffee shop had a bit of a different look to the store compared to the other Temples I've been to - in a good way. There are plenty of tables to study and get some work done, both indoor and outdoor. Baristas are all wonderful and super knowledgeable! Service is always great. Pastries are amazing but I'm a huge fan of their coffee selection. My go-to's are: Iced Honey Cinnamon Latte with oatmilk, Iced Brown Sugar Matcha Latte with oatmilk, and/or Iced Honey Cinnamon Matcha with oatmilk. There's plenty of parking in the area. Overall, BEST coffee in Folsom - a must if you're in the area! read more

I guess it was an off day. Went around noon, only one customer waiting. Three workers looked up as I walked in and just looked back down. No hellos. First time so I was confused how to order. I was about to walk up to the register by mistake and the blond girl with a pony tail just stared at me so i went back to the other end where I saw the other customer. Usually you order and pay at the register first. They finally take my order. I asked for my drink to be sweetened, sign said .85 cents(?) for syrup, whatever, annoyed blond pony tail girl says what kind, I said simple syrup, and then I walk down to the register. I hear some snickering and something about simple syrup. I ignored it. Second girl rings me up and walks way. Another girl makes my order. I get my drink and it's not sweetened but i let it be. No wonder I didn't get charged for syrup. I ordered a cappuccino and there was barely any foam, was bitter, and had no latte art. I think I'll pass for next time. read more

Best coffee I've had in the Folsom area so far! My dad recently moved to the area and this place had stellar reviews so I drove a bit out of the way to come here. I was not disappointed. My dad got an undertow (look it up, order it if you want to make friends with the baristas) and I got a vanilla latte. We ended up coming back again the next day because the vibe and quality of the coffee was fantastic. I didn't spend too much time in the shop itself but a lot of people were working or studying there (inside and outside), so could be a place I will hang out in the future when I visit the area again soon. I highly recommend giving them a try! read more

Temple Coffee Roaster is my favorite coffee roaster in the Sacramento area. This is a third wave of coffee roaster focused on quality offering classic espresso drinks and a variety of small batch roasts. I prefer Temple coffee over Blue Bottle, Stumptown coffee, intelligentsia, and Sightglass. My favorite roast is Dharma which starts with a dark chocolate flavor and ends with a cherry flavor profile. Don't expect mocha frappuccino with a cherry on the top because you shouldn't be here to get sugar drinks. Come here for a wonderful latte or cappuccino, try not to put any sugar, and take in the true flavor of a well-roasted coffee. read more

I have and always will be a fan of Temple Coffee Roasters. I have never been disappointed with any of the locations and I am so happy there is now one in Folsom! I always buy my beans here because 1. They are super fresh, 2. They are super delicious & 3. They have a super bean card (ok not what it's called but it's like a punch card and for every few bags of beans you buy you get a bag free!) I love supporting local coffee shops and roasters and definitely recommend Temple to all of my friends. My favorite drink here is their Mexican Mocha - perfect sweetness and perfect espresso flavor. Oh. My. Goodness. I need one right now. The baristas are all very pleasant and informative and know how to strike up a conversation without making it awkward. I especially love this location because parking is a breeze compared to the Sacramento or Davis locations. read more

Also I thought this might be the most expensive coffee I have paid for in a long term... certainly from a strip mall... $7 for a latte... or maybe I am just still living in 2017 prices in my mind. read more

They would not serve me unless I wear a mask even though I am fully vaxed and have already had Covid. They will do better to stay in Sac area. Wasted my time driving here. There are so many other great coffee shops nearby. Just letting evyone out there know to skip this one. read more

I still try to support most of the independent coffee shops in this area, but Temple is quickly becoming my favorite. The coffee is amazing, lattes are on point, and the baristas really go above and beyond in terms of customer service. They are so friendly and they really know what they're doing. I forgot where they get their pastries from but they are really amazing. The atmosphere is modern but cozy too. read more

Everybody was very friendly and helpful. I liked the place. It is a smaller area for seating, but they have a good menu. The food menu is a bit smaller, things such as breakfast, burritos, avocado toast, croissants, etc.... They have a good baked goods section, and they make very good coffee, as is their name. I got a box of macarons for Valentine's Day, plus one for myself, the macaron was tender, and had an amazing flavor. The person I got the Macarons for, she did like them. I also got myself a white mocha, which I liked very much. It wasn't too sweet, and the coffee was deep and rich. The price for everything was very reasonable. I want to come back and try more things, and I will definitely get more of those macarons next time also. Thank you.

Imagine a teeny, paper-thin, cold piece of toast topped with a small smear of avocado that tasted more "packaged" than fresh, a drizzle of balsamic glaze, two lonely feta crumbles, and a sliced hard-boiled egg... served cold... on the side. It did come with a side salad, which felt like an apology. We also ordered a croissant sandwich (ham, Swiss, and scrambled eggs), which unfortunately did not sit well with my husband. The eggs tasted like they may have come from a carton. The staff was nice, but the service model was confusing. When I'm prompted to tip at checkout and there are tables and seating, I assume some level of table service. Instead, we picked up our own coffee, food, silverware, and napkins, and at the end, we also got the honor of bussing our own plates back to the counter. Full-circle dining experience. Bonus details: - They had one single packet of hot sauce left in the entire place - The salt shaker was completely solidified (we did ask for more, but the replacement had exactly one functioning hole) * And just to keep you on your toes, the front door pushes instead of pulls. A small thing, but somehow on-brand. Bottom line: Come here if you want a custom coffee. If you're hungry, manage expectations... or honestly, stick with good old Starbucks for consistency, fewer surprises, and doors that behave.

Wow! Oh my goodness, I am absolutely amazed! As a barista myself, I have to say that the atmosphere of this place is simply stunning. The shop is extremely clean and it emits such a fantastic vibe. And let me tell you, the baristas here are unbelievable! They are truly incredible at what they do. Every single drink I had was absolutely delicious! I hear a lot about Temple but don't live close enough to any location to make it convenient. Temple looked nice walking in but WOW! Over 4 bucks for a cup of black coffee, SEVEN dollars for a green tea, and the baristas were a little rude. I would have gladly paid the price for coffee if it came with a genuine smile or be subjected to the indifferent attitude if coffee was sub $3. The place has a little bit of a snooty vibe and that's hard to tolerate even for coffee lovers like me.
