This is one of the few boba shops open so early in the day. Came here around 1030 am. Its close to the farmers market. Lots of people walking around. Same shopping center as Target. Lots of parking on both sides of the place. It was pretty warm inside. Would've been nice if the AC was on. Its not that big. Probably like 5 or so tables to sit at inside. They have several board and card games you can play with. We played some giant uno, battleship and taco cat goat cheese pizza games. They have lots of drinks here to choose from. Lemonades, teas, coffee drinks. And you can customize the sweetness amount. As well as the type od toppings you can have in it. I got their guava sunset with flavored popping boba. Got it at 75% sweetness and it was still too sweet. It was nice and cold. And very refreshing. Loved their popping boba as well. It was just way too sweet. We also got their lady bug with passion fruit. It was a lot lighter in flavor. Not overly sweet. There was way too many passion fruit seeds though. They were annoying. But equally refreshing. Also had their silky mango drink. It was really good. On the cremier side of things. But also refreshing. I love their popping honey boba. We also got their lemonade drink. It was really good too Overall a nice place to get some boba early in the day. And theres so many places to walk around and sight see and work off them calories too!! Always get the Vietnamese coffee at the Folsom store, and it's been great. Today grabbed it here at El Dorado Hills, and it was only about 3/4 full. Maybe because I ordered "less ice"? Doesn't seem right. I'll just be getting it at Folsom from here out. Update- I got a response that didn't make any sense, since I've ordered the EXACT same drink multiple times without the 25% reduction. I just looked and of my last 12 drinks (with less ice) this is the one drink you did correctly. I find that difficult to believe. If the response had more sincerity I would have been happy to increase my rating. But since a cookie cutter response was all that was provided (and does not align with all my other orders), it's clear what I should expect in the future. read more

Visited Teaspoon and tried their osmanthus black tea. The flavor was clean and just right, not too strong and not too sweet. I'm a big Teaspoon fan so this was the last location in the Sacramento area that I haven't tried yet. They have a nice location in the town center parking lot so there are plenty of food and shopping surrounding it! I went on a farmers market day so I did have to park a bit far. The location is on the smaller side but they do have tables inside to hang out. The menu is the same as the other places but I wanted to try something new, so I went with the ube lemonade. You can customize it with any flavor! I did half sweetness because I always find lemonade drinks to be pretty sweet. Half sweetness was perfect. It's such a pretty drink! I really enjoyed how many 'classic' options they had available, but the twists they put on an old favorite. This was our first time in the El Dorado Hills location. It's located in the Town Center, downstairs by Nibblers. It was pretty busy when we walked in. We ordered on the kiosk and found a seat. Since it was morning, I decided to get the Dirty Ube with boba and need something stronger than milk tea. After ordering I sat down while I waited. It''s clean, simple, and spacious with an entrance in front and back. After a few minutes, my drink was finished and the friendly employee behind the counter handed my drink over. The Dirty Ube was good; made just the way I like it. Overall, it was a good first visit. I was in and out in no time. I love teaspoon boba and this is my first time in EDH location. As usual drinks don't disappoint but i have the say this location is not kid friendly. The staff that attended to us today 1st called me out to ask my daughter to not touch the display i didn't see what she was doing but i have a 7yr old and she isn't rough with things and is usually my most organized kid. Then she was looking at the paint sets which i assume are for sale to the counter while i was ordering and again was asked to tell her not to touch. The reason I suggest they start doing that is because like my child I am sure there are others out there who only want some popping boba without it being in A drink. Every time I come, there is always a new batch of boba being made, the boba is always chewy and warm, making the quality of my drink even better. The Liquid Gold is my favorite drink, and I've ordered this a few times, always made at the highest quality. The employees always greet me and smile at me, making me feel welcomed into their store. Also, one of the employees was updating me on the drinks being made as it was busy, to make me satisfied knowing my drink was being made. Not only this, the drinks are made within 5 minutes. Drinks are good, nothing special. I've had Teaspoon in other locations before and they all taste pretty much the same. My review is not a complaint for the drinks but rather the restroom. Went here today after the movies and was told the restroom they had in the lobby was for employees only. I am 8 months pregnant. I was told to use the restroom in the theaters. I find it disappointing that a drink spot wouldn't have a restroom available for customers. I come here all of the time after going to the theaters and this was the one time I needed to use the restroom. Due to this, I don't think I'll ever be coming back. read more

I'm getting out to drink because they're so hyper focused on talking crap about the job that they're doing with their friends that they're not focus on the guest inside of the shop. But the reason why I left one star review was because my daughter had to go to the restroom and was told that the bathroom inside of their shop was for employees only and that they had restrooms underneath the theater, which was on the other side of the street next to The Mimosa House. Mind you The Mimosa House isn't close to where the shop is. After repeatedly pleading with these teenage employees to have my daughter use the restroom because she would not make it. They still refused saying company policy says that they are not allowed to have any gas use the restroom or they would be fired. I know it was the soft reopening or whatever they call it but it took 20 minutes to make 2 drinks when no one was in front of me. Also one of the drinks was made incorrectly. I think Feng Cha in Folsom is a better deal ($5.75) vs $7.50 with no toppings at Teaspoon. My correctly made drink was good, I will say but the staff is clearly very confused and do not know what they are doing or how to make the drinks on the menu which is hard to watch to be frank. They also didn't have any Boba and they supposedly ran out which makes no sense for a boba tea place. Lastly, for $7.50 a drink do not prompt me to tip 18%, 20% or 22%. That's ridiculous on an overpriced drink as it is. Pay your staff that is not my job. I'm hoping they improve and if so I will redo my review. But as for now Feng Cha is your best bet especially for the price read more
