I really had a coffee craving and I was across the street from this place. Really cute inside. Pink and flowery. The barista was friendly. I ordered the Vietnamese coffee milk tea at 25% sweet. It was good. Not strong though. More like a tea/coffee taste. On a hot day it was still really refreshing though. A flower wall inside to take a selfie! read more

I used Yelp to search for boba places and found this place to try! First time here. When walking in, the place is a medium size shop that has a really cute and fun, aesthetically pleasing vibe. I love how fully decorated the place is, from having a wall of roses on the left to having miniature mirrors on the right. There was plenty of seating and the place was spacious. They have board games, such as giant uno cards and connect 4. They also sell miscellaneous items (keychains, jewelry, plushies) and packaged snacks. There was so much to see and explore! The staff was nice and friendly. The service was great, quick and easy! They were able to adjust the drink to my liking and double checked with me to make sure my order was correct. We got the Butterfly Pea Milk Tea and Brown Sugar Signature. 10/10 Butterfly Pea Milk Tea: I ordered with 50% sugar + ice with tapioca boba. It tasted like green milk tea. The butterfly pea tea changes the color of the drink to a pretty light blue. It was not too sweet, and it tasted super good! The best part was the soft and chewy boba. It was cooked perfectly. I'd definitely order this drink again with the same adjustments! 9/10 Brown Sugar Signature: This order was also 50% sugar + ice with tapioca boba. Similar to the other drink, the boba has a fantastic texture. Perfectly cooked. When taking a sip of this drink, for some reason it tasted like coffee to me when the drink has oolong and creamer salted cream. Not sure if it's the cream, but I was surprised! It's not bad at all, but I'm not a coffee drinker. I'd love to come back again! read more

My friend and I had a lovely time coming to Rove Boba Tea a couple weeks ago! We were so hot from being outdoors, and our cold drinks really hit the spot. The sweet gal behind the counter was friendly and attentive, and she made our drinks in a flash. The place is decorated with a fun and upbeat vibe, and there is a good amount of space to sit and hang out. I was craving something basic, so I ordered a mango tea boba at 50% sweetness. I don't have a sweet tooth, so I was very grateful that they allow you to customize your sweetness level. My friend ordered the oolong tea boba and was very pleased with theirs. I'm rarely up in Placerville (I came up to stay with my friend) but when I come back I'll definitely stop by again! read more

We walked in on a bright Sunday wanting boba and a snack and was immediately greeted and asked if we had a father with us (side note: it was Father's Day) and when we let them know we did, we were able to get a free lemonade to celebrate the dad! Once we walked in the ambiance of the place just felt so welcoming and spacious especially for a party of 6! (Check out the flower and snap some cute pics!) we order 5 bobas and 2 dishes (100% recommend the shrimp tempura) with free lemonade and all tasted super delicious and freshly made, as soon as the employee noticed one of did not have a drink they immediately asked if we'd like a water to go with our food. read more

The ambiance is nice and the employees were friendly enough, but my $6.25 taro milk tea doesn't taste like anything, and I was greeted with an unpleasant chunky substance at first sip. It's like they didn't add enough flavor, and the flavor they did add didn't get mixed in. Or they have very poor quality taro flavoring. Glad to finally get a decent boba shop in Placerville and they get extra brownie points for the beef banh mi which was pretty tasty. I was not a fan of the previous boba shop Vextor that was there before but we will definitely be back at Rove! The taro coconut boba and brown sugar boba was good. First off, I'm so happy to have a boba place in town that isn't so far away from me! Secondly, the atmosphere is so beautiful and charming down to the cloud lamps that hang above your head as you sip on delicious boba. Third, the drinks are amazing. The kind man who helped us explained what the specials are but also how to customize your own along with preferred sweetness. Of course we had to go back! Drove down from Pollock Pines looking for a place to hang out in the rain to get some remote work done and watch some downloaded Netflix shows. Logged in to their wifi. It was uncomfortable and unnecessary, especially since it drew attention from everyone around. Despite the poor service, we still made the effort to clean up after ourselves, busing our plates and making sure the table was neat before leaving. To the owner of Thai Noodle Express, I hope you can train your staff on how to properly treat customers. Good service goes a long way. On top of everything, the Pad Thai did not taste authentic. I first noticed the mini foosball table and saw another mini video arcade game, along with a few other table games. The place was clean and spotless (restroom also), with wooden tables and chairs. There was a cute photo background on the back wall. I took a few minutes to look over the menu and decided on the iced Vietnamese coffee for my husband and the "Caffeine Collision" (Thai tea and Viet coffee collab) for myself. Our drinks were ready quickly, and we decided to sit and sip for a few minutes before making our way back home. I loved my drink. I had done that same mix at a Thai restaurant Yelp event where they had set up a drink bar, so I knew it would be good. The balance of a strong Vietnamese coffee and the sweetness of the Thai tea blended perfectly. Next visit I will try their halo halo or avocado shake, both of which have good reviews. Support small, family, Asian-owned, local businesses!

The flavor was PERFECT, literally not too sweet and I didn't get a bellyache after. My friend got the coconut milk tea, less sweet and I loved his drink (I might've loved it more than the boba)! It had an authentic coconut flavor without being overpowering. Next time I'm in the area, I'll definitely come back to try other flavors. I hope they open one in Reno/Sparks area because they're definitely a favorite in my books!

I had the pleasure of visiting Vextor Boba and it was truly an incredible experience. The boba was some of the freshest and most delicious I've ever had.
