Best boba place in Chico! Great location which is close to campus and in downtown Chico. The pearls are constantly fresh and warm with a good chewiness. Definitely a family owned business, the daughter, maybe about 11 years old, was really helpful. My go to drink has been the Original Tea which is classic black tea ($4.70) with pearls ($0.75) or the Tiger Milk Tea with Boba ($5.85). Drinks are not too sweet even at regular sweetness which is a good thing because milk tea is also about the tea flavor. Although the store is small, able to order at the tablet or register, there's also cute keychains for purchase too. I definitely want to come back and try their crepes. read more

I'm convinced the positive reviews for this place must be fake. I was so excited to visit this shop with my sister, but wow, what a disappointment. First off, the $5.45 price for boba seemed great until I tasted it. I can confidently say this was the worst boba I've ever had. The brown sugar flavor was decent, but the boba pearls were severely overcooked & mushy. Even worse, the tea itself tasted rancid, like it had been brewed with spoiled leaves. I even went back to ask for more sweetener, and while the employees were accommodating, no amount of sweetener--and no amount of aggressive mixing--could mask the awful taste. If you're looking for authentic boba, this is absolutely not the place. Save your time, money, and taste buds and go elsewhere. read more

Love this place, theres not much places where you can get crepes Wish there was an option for ice cream crepe. But for what I got, I Love the crunchy and refreshing strawberry paired with the chewy crepe and all held together by the whipped cream and nutella. Delicious crepe. Every bite, I get the crunch from strawberry and chew from the crepe and it was awesome. I did order Jasmine boba last year, its good, it feels like less drink than other places. First time here and l'll definitely be back. The Thai Tea with Boba was yummy (the only thing it needed more ice) and the boba was made to perfection. The staff was extra friendly and they sell the CUTEST key chains at the cash register. I know, I know, who yelps about key chains?! They weren't like any I've seen before & resembled the chachki you would find at a Sanrio store (IYKYN) only they were more galactic. Next time I'm getting a boba and a key chain. Amazing! Definitely my go to for boba! The milk tea is always delicious and not artificial tasting! Not to mention the crepes, there's not many other places where you can get those bad boys! I recommend the strawberry w/ whipped cream. One thing is that the crepes are a bit expensive, or I'm just broke. The employees are always super nice. And they have markers you can ask for to draw on the bench outside. The vibes in there are always super nice! I recommend the rose or lavender milk tea with black boba and lychee jelly! Small, clean boba shop in very close walking distance to Chico State University. Good variety of beverages on the easy-to-read digital menu. Many different kinds of crepes to choose from, too, if you're in the mood for something to munch. We asked questions about a couple of the beverages as well as what crystal boba was, and the woman (owner?) behind the counter was very kind and patient in response. She even offered us a sample. (It looked practically translucent and barely had any sweet taste.) I chose the Jasmine Milk Tea with honey boba (50% sweet), and my friend decided to go with the Tiger Milk Tea with honey boba (75% sweet). Drinks tasted good and the boba were perfectly soft and chewy. We will be back for more boba drinks next time we are in town, and we'll likely order crepes, too. Boba Stop is a solid choice when you're craving boba drinks with quick and friendly service. Spend your money here and support a small family business. read more

I came here on a Thursday night after my workout because I wanted a sweet treat and was pleasantly surprised! I'm a college student here and have tried a couple boba places but mostly been disappointed. This place was so yum! I had no idea they also had crepes but I obviously had to try one and it was so delicious. I ordered the Thai Tea and the Strawberry Nutella and whipped cream crepe. Neither were too sweet which is exactly how I enjoy my sweets. I was greeted very nicely when I walked in and the two people working gave me great conversation as I was waiting for my order. It is a smaller boba place so sometimes it can be awkward with the employees but they did a great job in making me feel super welcomed. I also thought it was cute how they sold Kawaii looking keychains! Back at home one boba drink can cost 7 dollars but my Thai tea was only 4 dollars, absolutely worth it, I will definitely be back! read more

Quaint, quick, and casual. All the staff are friendly even when working multiple or complicated orders. I make a point to come here regularly and have yet to be disappointed. extremely quick to get the drinks out to you, they have both a digital ordering system as well as an in person employee. boba is the best texture and not hard or crumbly or weird. i always get a classic milk tea with brown sugar boba to test- it was great. it is kind of small in the shop but that doesn't matter because of how quick it is. perfect for a last minute craving. cute decorations are a plus. read more
