This was my third time since they opened. The staff was extremely accommodating. I was here with a large group for our Silent Book Club. My friend had made the reservation weeks ago. Nobody told her that it was going to be karaoke night! They sat us outside and put the tables together for us. And they figured out a way to turn off the outside speakers. We could still hear the singers in the main room. It made us giggle a lot. The food was good and everybody liked what they got. My only complaint is that we had one server for our large group and a lot of the other staff members were either singing karaoke or standing around. We love food halls and check them out in other cities when we travel...this is not like most food halls. Other ones tend to be groupings of small business, with good variety of products. This is like a mall food court or an airport where a bunch of bland food is all prepped in shared kitchen with different names slapped on front counter. Like if Uber Eats ghost kitchens were a place you could visit. Food was not horrible but really not good, especially at those prices. Service was lackluster, atmosphere is bland. The staff was so helpful as you can order online, but we did prefer to use the waitress than do the online ordering. We were so excited for this place. The service was not good(way to salty), extremely slow and short staffed. The food was not that great for the prices. We were expecting more like a food court, walk up, place your order and have a seat. Unfortunately, they take your order at the table which was slowing down service. We went on a Sunday evening, and there were only about four or five additional parties yet they couldn't handle the business. It's unfortunate. Don't get me wrong, this is a GREAT concept but god awful service. Fishpop is great, even as a person who hates fish, but all other food is frozen level. I could get better food from Trader Joe's freezer section. Last time I came here, I ordered spicy teriyaki yakisoba. The meat was unflavored, and tasted like it'd been in the freezer for months before cooking. This time, the fish is significantly smaller, and the food takes FOREVER to be served. A few years back, we had a large party here and only half of the guests had food after and hour and a half, leaving the rest hungry. Great spot and concept. Walked in, and welcomed with great energy and a smile to match from Melissa! We went there for my friends birthday on a Tuesday for happy hour and immediately the margarita for $6 with a free chicken taco was a no brainer for starters. I love the idea of having a variety of multiple cuisines to choose from, if you're a picky eater or know someone who is, everyone can get their fill! We ordered the wagyu sliders, they were so delicious, we ordered another round of them! They were my favorite. We also tried the Mac and cheese. But the wagyu sliders are really where it's at! Teresa the owner came around and checked to see how our experience was, it was awesome! Also the margs have a hint of pineapple and Grand Marnier which adds a nice touch. Went in for the suns playoff game and was greeted at the door. Was impressed by the beer taps on the wall and the decor was nice. When getting to the table, we were confused because we had been handed 8+ menus, with a QR code at the table to order, menus at the individual stands, and servers coming between tables. We didn't know if we were supposed to wait for the waiter or order via the QR code. Ended up going the QR route and apparently the order was lost, as the server approached us 15 minutes after we put it in to ask us if we'd like to order. Sounded like the owner was at the bar with 3-4 of his friends. Didn't see a bartender a single time while he was seated there. Food was ok, nothing to rave about. Liked the selection but the online ordering was not organized well and frustrating to deal with. Staff was polite and nice. Oh man, where do I start. Long read so sit down. I work over at the LA fitness behind them have seen the owners coming in promoting this place non stop. My clients are always asking me about it, but I haven't been there until last night. I decided to take my family out for dinner so we can all try this cool new place. Big mistake. They were having a fundraiser for something. Okay. Our bad. But, we were seated......probably 15 minutes goes by, and we finally figured most everything out when a waitress finally asked if we'd been helped. I said no, but I think I got it and was about to order the drinks. 2 Fanta for the kids, lemonade for the Mrs, and water for myself. The waitress said it because it was so busy don't worry about, she'll bring it out. That was appreciated. Because it was a new place/concept I ordered a few items to try. I got a pizza for the kids, one sushi roll, mini sliders, Mexican street corn, and voodoo pasta for myself, and a vegetable noodle bowls for my wife. Beignets for dessert. Food didn't take long. But immediately after paying I informed the waitress that accidentally ordered it to go but want it for here (as the whole family was sitting in a booth), she said okay no problem happens all the time. Food comes out in bags, in containers. It's the wrong order. Food comes back again in bags, and boxes. I untie the bags and begin passing the food around. There's no plates (for kids pizza). Wife goes to get plates, comes back. No utensils. Get up to get utensils. Okay. Time to eat. The vegetable bowls literally only had two carrots, and a few pieces of cabbage. The rest was noodles and rice. This really upset me. The street corn was okay, but too much lime made it very sour. I couldn't finish it. Everything else was good though. I enjoyed the pasta (we joked they put all the vegetables in my pasta) Kids liked the pizza. The sushi roll was good too. Skimped on the ginger and wasabi. Didn't have enough. The beignets felt like naan that was fried and sprinkled with sugar. Kids liked it though. It gives off a "we don't want you to eat here, leave, go home" vibe. It is not a restaurant atmosphere. You got a bar, random (drunk) people singing karaoke and all the things that come with that. Not a place to sit down and enjoy a meal. And it was hot. The room temperature was way too hot. A lot of people fanning themselves and dabbing their heads to wipe of the sweat. Add in spicy food and it won't be a pretty site if you're on a date. It just seems confused. The staff is the best thing about that place and it's a shame because they were working so hard. I'm leaving some buffer for this review since there was some kind of fundraiser going on. But probably best to close the restaurant portion if you're doing something like this. I rarely take my family out for dinner, so when I do, I want it to be a great experience for them. I had to apologize to them last night for that. I won't be going back, but at least now i can tell my clients and regulars at the gym what I think when they ask me. read more

This concept needs to get rethought. It looks like you used to go to the different restaurants like a food court. Now the restaurant stall fronts full of equipment are for the experience. You get four menus to order from and your bill comes all at once. Like in person door dash. The menu options is like someone is trying to recreate the breadth of the cheese factory but without cheesecake. The empanada I had was good but small and without much filling. The shrimp taco was sad. The churros weren't fresh at all. There was a wilted strawberry garnish. The whole thing was kind of a drag. It was compatible with jack and the box but much more expensive. The drink cups are cheap paper ensuring you dont try to get a refill because they get soggy and collapse before you even finish your meal. Im a little older so I might be biased but service was difficult as you have to chase someone down for anything. Food comes in a to go box. And was surprisingly expensive for what you got. I do not recommend Tempe Eats. The hostess is friendly, that's the only positive. We tried all 4 of the restaurants and did not enjoy. We spent $100. We ordered our food to go. Tried birria ramen with the tacos. They packed it without broth! How do you serve dry birria? The empanadas are the worst I have ever had and greasy. There is about a tablespoon of filling in each one. The sushi is mid. Wish we had not tried it. Also, the fish and chips are very greasy, and the tartar sauce tastes like pickles. I will never go back and would never recommend this place to anyone. Terrible experience. read more

Absolute shit show! This place was a complete bust. We went in for a birthday party and we had around 15 people. We ordered 3 spicy margaritas, they came out about 30 minutes later and were so god awful. There was no real way to get drinks in that place. There were people that seemed like servers walking around but really were not helpful. The food was alright and the only reason this chaotic place gets any stars. I would say heck no to the grocery store sushi though. The special food this weekend is enchiladas- they were good. The wings- no thanks they were rubbery and the sauce was not good. The potstickers were ok. This place was way too chaotic, there is no real explanation on what you should do if you want a drink. Beer cards should be able to be purchased with a machine or something. Waiting around to get these is painful . We were so disappointed we left after a painful 1.5 hrs this place needs some serious help running a restaurant. My bartender was very kind and sweet and made my first experience very memorable, especially by letting me sample her amazing margarita.
