Came here for date night and had a great time, we didn't have a bad bite here!! We ordered soup, the crab puffs, and several rolls. The miso soup was unreasonably good and the crab puffs were delicious! The rolls were also super good - they have several specialty ones that I had never seen on other menus, as well as the standard rolls that you see everywhere. Everything was very well done and the price was great for the high quality of the food that we got! The service was great and the food all came out very quickly, which was especially great because we were very hungry. Our server was super nice and recommended us a couple rolls which were all good! Last time I didn't have a good experience and I gave this place a try again. I will say some items are a miss like the combo plates but the hits are definitely in the sushi! I enjoyed my Sushi N 2 and the tempura appetizer! The tempura was nice and hot. I do wish our order came out with appetizer/sushi , entree but we got sushi first , entree second and appetizer last. I do recommend giving a bigger bowl for the tempura sauce! We waited awhile to get another sauce, our tempura got a bit cool but it was still crunchy. Also order the tonkatsu ramen and it was huge!! That sushi chef is a raw-ckstar. Sea-riously, sushi is all I need! We came on a Saturday when my friend was craving sushi and an assortment of rolls were had. My favorites were the Palm Springs Roll (Tempura shrimp, spicy tuna, and cream cheese. Wrapped in soy paper and lettuce. Topped with spicy salmon, crab mix, and tempura flakes. Finished with a sweet & spicy sauce) and the K.D. Wasabi Roll (Salmon, avocado, and cucumber. Topped with seared Tuna, chopped cilantro, wasabi mayo, and wasabi tobiko). Cute place, clean and well kept. The staff were very friendly and kind. Subtle humor and laughs made the experience even better. The sushi was good. We had the Boston Roll, which was a good basic roll and with Wasabi it was very tasty. The spicy scallops and spicy soft shell had a nice bite and good flavor. The softshell was not greasy. We really loved the Love Roll and the Salman tataki. They were highlights. Everything was bright and clean in flavor and the fish was the star. We were there for about 20-25 minutes total and got some cokes about 5 minutes in. After that the owner welcomed lots of regulars cheerfully smoozing with them and seating them. Mind you this is a small restaurant and we were dead in the middle. I asked if we could order and at one point she told me to give her a minute. After sitting there for 25 minutes i was DONE. We tried this place looking for some late night sushi not too far from home. All the staff were very friendly and the sushi chef was very personable. We ordered several sushi rolls, cucumber salad, and miso soup. We enjoyed everything and the chef also helped us decide based on what we were craving and fish that we liked. This is a small family owned place, they could really use the committees love to continue to serve the area. They managed to survive the COVID era and hopefully will have many more years. We have been back a few times since our original visit and highly recommend. They have a lot of menu options for those who don't like sushi either! read more

Galbi was too sweet and overcooked, the cucumber peel was too thick for the cucumber wrapped sushi, some of the sashimi on sashimi combo were prepped too long - fish was bit dry. After recovering from a surgery I was craving sushi. We decided to try a place not far from home called Sushi n u. What a great choice! We had rolls ( my favorite soft shell crab plus 2 others) , a yummy udon soup and chicken fried rice for my hubs. Everything was so fresh and delicious and the portions were so generous that we bought home a few leftovers. We could watch the sushi being made, the waitress anticipated our needs and the decor was very cute. It was clean, only about 6 tables occupied at 1:30pm and prices were reasonable. I did a to go order from here after hearing some great things. And I was impressed. I ordered four handrolls (temaki) and they were stuffed. The spicy tuna ones were outstanding. Service is amazing, our waitress was Ruby she was very helpful, respectful and pleasant to have as a waitress, she was very attentive to our table. If I had 1 complaint or critique it'll be just one thing, FRENCH FRIES !!! I LOVE FRIES with my sushi I don't know why but fries are a must with my sushi ever since I was young lol. Which is why I only come once a month. Don't come at me ppl :( but that's what this one customer likes. We picked up from this restaurant. It is on the smaller side with seating for about 20-25 people. Plenty of parking. They do have seared ahi and salmon which is great and not too common. The sashimi slices were good size. The KD Wasabi roll takes advantage of the seared ahi (see photo) The hand rolls were well done and Boston roll was good as well. Overall very good but slight more expensive than some other places. Good for a sushi fix in the area. read more
