The front desk management is horrible. When I signed up for the league I was passed over and forgotten because I was never informed of the league start date and time, even though you had all my contact information. Fast forward three years love the league but still extremely disappointed in the front desk management. Unfortunately our day took a turn for the worse when we went out to the shooting range at my friends house the dog got out and got bit by a snake. Landed us at the pet hospital in this shopping center. There was nothing we can do but wait but lo and behold we look up and there was a bowling alley. We had a great time here! We were looking to take our toddler bowling for the fir at time and started looking around and when I first looked at Bowlero it was almost $200 for a lane for cosmic bowling! Hubby told me to check out here and we found it waaayyy cheaper! It was $88 for 90 mins of cosmic bowling, shoe rental for 3, and 450 credits for their arcade. It is a little older and run down but still had a good atmosphere. There is pool tables, a full bar, and a little place you can order food. We were there on a Friday night and I gotta give it up to the gentleman that was working. He was doing cashier, trouble shooting and then right in the middle he can out and started having a little contest! It was super fun! Overall it was a blast! We did have a little issue with the group next to our lane soooooo piece of advice to those who are going... if you have a large group (and most of them are NOT bowling) please don't take up ALL the tables. We did not have space to put our drinks cause the group was taking over our table. We had to ask them several times to move over. It is just courtesy to not spill over to the next table. Wow! Do I have a story for you!! We booked my son's birthday party at Temecula Lanes on Nov 2., we paid our $177, and got our confirmation email. We show up today only to tell us that they cancelled our reservation and refunded our money (which we haven't seen yet). Turns out they said the system should have never booked us because of a golf tournament. We never received a phone call or an email. We showed up and were told it was cancelled. Having a good time with friends until customer service came up to us & threatened to kick us out. We bowled & the previous ball I guess was stuck in the back & popped back up. Both balls ended up getting stuck in the gutter. The dude working at the counter came up to us & said "if you throw 2 balls at once again and hit the gate, I'm throwing you out." Had he actually be watching, and not assuming what happened, then he'd know we didn't do it on purpose. Maybe his response would have been different. Ruined our bowling day. most horrible experience here! Ian an employee yelled at my family to "FUCK OFF" in front of my children and about 4 other families. Then he continued to yell in our faces and walked back to us 4 TIMES to harass my family and I. He called us ugly names, cursed, and antagonized us infront of our children. It was a last minute bowling trip for my family and there were 8 of us. We were able to book online for the last 2 lanes. I was a tad bit sketchy on going thinking how this is going to be with social distancing, cleanliness etc. Hey listen some people just aren't mask wearers and I'm fine with that just stay away from me. Reservations were made online and it was a smooth check-in process. The lanes are separated and have a barrier in between. For league bowlers, I think this is a real good spot to be at. There are a few things that go in its favor: 1. Pro shop operator was friendly and helpful. Really went above and beyond explaining everything, including giving out bowling advice that was very helpful. 2. They recently got a new oil machine, and it's made bowling here more consistent week to week. It was a bit of a mess before that, but at least they seemed to address the issue. 3. Friendly bunch of people in the leagues, all of different ability levels. Overall a good bunch. 4. Recently we had our sweeps week, and because of an error in the scorekeeping software, our team didn't get the cash prize we were due. When we brought this up, they were very friendly and took it seriously, then when they saw what happened, took money from the business to make up for the mistake (in other words, they didn't go to the team who erroneously got the money and ask for it back, they ate the mistake from the register). When people like to compare a bowling alley like this to a corporate chain, it's interactions like this that people are looking for. Just handled very gracefully and without issue. Thanks for the good customer service, Jennifer! I think my main complaint would be that the league discount to practice is very underwhelming compared to other leagues. I would love to come practice more, but the prices are a bit steep for my tastes in open play. Even if there was a promotion just for off-peak hours, that would be something. I came here for the first time the other day with my boyfriend and two of his kids and was not disappointed. It's as much bar, pool tables, arcade as it is bowling alley. When we went to get a lane we were told the wait would be 45 minutes. We were tempted to leave and find something else to do, but decided to wait a while. The kids enjoyed the arcade while we played a little pool and enjoyed a cold beer on tap. I didn't catch the beer prices, but the kids stayed entertained - with change leftover - for just $4.00 each, the 30 minutes of pool was only $4.00 and two games of bowling, and four pairs of shoes was just $30. I was having a date night with the wife and we both decided to come here for some fun. It's been a while since I went bowling and it's my first time ever coming to this location. It's located fairly close to the mall and Old Town so one doesn't have to go far to have some fun on the lanes. This place was pretty busy but not as much as expected it to be on a Friday night which was pretty good. The staff here is friendly but not too much and are well experienced. This place offers military discount that is very considerate so you know I took advantage of it. The ambience is great with that night club feel to it that makes you feel like you're bowling at a party. Now I have some pretty big hands so I require bigger sized bowling balls. I only had 1 available to me on our lane that was the only I ended up using the whole time. I could not find any other bigger sizes on the reserve racks which was a bummer. It's summer. You have families looking for alternative recreational means. Why do both bowling facilities need to be league on Sunday's. So much for Sunday discounts. I'm very disappointed. Both of our lanes were malfunctioning with the 7 people we were with. Lane bumpers were not working for our kids and it was super annoying. Go to Round 1as the equipment seems to be reliable and always working. When we complained about things not working it was a hassle for them to assist. Won't be returning unless it's a birthday party or something like that. Well, I'll take the owners advice and write the full story since an apology was too much Yes we went in over a year ago and had a horrible experience with miserable customer service and nobody caring about the lanes not working, nobody at the bar/food service, and being completely ignored the entire time we were there with a party of 8. We spent a bunch of money and it was almost comical how bad it was. As I was walking out I told management we would never come back because it was THAT bad. She offered us one complimentary game after we spent a bunch of money which was a joke. She totally agreed and gave us a stack of cards....which we have been holding onto for over 18 months. As we were walking into the bowling this last weekend, I laughed and told my wife, they are going to screw us with these certificates and I don't have a good feeling, but whatever, we were with the same family as last time we had a horrible experience with, so let's just give it a go. We walked in and were told they don't accept these certificates anymore and we had to ask if they could do something else. Thankfully they gave us time on the lane as they don't charge per game anymore. It was Veterans Day and we had 2 military members with our party of 7, one of which did not have their military ID with them. We had to ask 5 times to give us the discount for the second military discount. Don't make it out like you have everyone the discount which was free shoes. We got to the lane and we had kids on one side and adults on the other. The lanes were not working correctly so we had to switch it up and that's not what we wanted. Every time we needed help, nobody was at the front desk. Thanks for the suggestion to leave the full story. I would love to give my money to local business as I have one here in Temecula as well. When my friend opened her pay envelope on the last night of bowling it was empty. They (Troy, your manager and Raylynn, whatever position she holds) printed a label showing what was supposed to be in the envelope, then purposely sealed it and passed it out. My friend says she didn't understand; she thought it might have been a joke. She paid all of her fees from the very first night, never missed, and when she asked what it was about, Raylynn said, "Some of the bowlers were short on their league fees so money was taken to cover it." ASK her, so she can lie to your face. Perhaps it was personal, since some bowlers did get some money. How did Troy and Raylynn pick and choose who to give money and who to steal from? You can deny it if you want, but it's what happened. I guess you don't care since that league is still there. Are same people handling the money? If so, brace yourselves. If bowlers were not paying to bowl, why were they allowed to keep bowling to the point where it affected the whole leagues money? Do Troy and Raylynn routinely let the person in front of them at a store, (pick out items with no money to pay for them,) and just let them be charged to the next in line? Did Troy and Raylynn think it was funny to hand out empty envelopes? Seriously, I would think a business owner would be more concerned with properly investigating this with the bowlers and his staff to insure it doesn't happen again. Shouldn't league bowlers satisfaction be the top priority of a bowling center? Why wouldn't the owner have a meeting with the league to find out what happened for himself? It would take 10 minutes. Location - Not far from the freeway exit and inside a little complex with some decent restaurants. Price - Paid like $9-10 bucks for a Game of bowling with shoe rental per person so wasn't too bad. Drinks - Full bar available that was pretty cool and got a pitcher of Bud Light for $12 bucks. Food - Ordered a Large Pizza for the kids and it was $15 or $17 I forget but it was a good size and wasn't bad in taste. Had horrible customer service. A mechanic supposedly named Ian was speaking to my Family very rudely and the staff did nothing to stop him. I went to speak to him about the way he was speaking in front of my family (4Kids,Wife,Cousin). He turned around and told me very loudly to F off. I went to try to ask him for his name and he gan to shout and scream you need to leave. I do not know who he knows or what relation he has with the owner of this Business but no one should ever speak to customer this way. He was rude, aggressive, and kept taunting my family while I was trying to speak with someone at the counter. The counter acting manger was saying what is the cause of the issue while the guy behind kept shouting and being aggressive. My friends and I went to go bowling and rented for 2 hours. While we were bowling we noticed the balls got stuck in the back and asked for help. The person who usually fixed stuff in the back came up to my friends and I than proceed to cuss us out. Didn't get to catch his name but he has receipting hair and walks with a hunch. My friends Dylan and Tyler are American, so as the worker yells and uses unprofessional language towards us he decides to single me out and specifically say "Do you speak fucking English" as I am the only colored person there in the lane. 10.09.2013 I was hesitant to come here to bowl with friends after seeing the bad customer reviews for this place. They must've read the reviews and hired new people because the ladies that I talked to at the desk were VERY friendly. One even suggested I buy my own shoes instead of borrowing some for the bowling league. She was nice and she was also training another gal that was just as helpful and friendly. The mini/personal pizza (8-9") at the snack bar is pretty tasty! Made to order for about $8, it's large enough for two people. I would definitely recommend it!
