I have a reoccurring practice set up for my rec ball team (2 lanes) for every Friday, for 13 weeks in a row, this place make over a thousand bucks off of me a season. Plus, I've been a gold member for almost 2 years now, at $58 a month. I had another coach offer my team a last-minute scrimmage game, so I called DBats literally as soon as they opened to cancel just this one practice but wanted to keep all the others on schedule. The kid that answered the phone a crappy attitude, because it was within 24 cancelation period, and charged me for the lanes. Its only $64 bucks, but the principle of the situation is absolutely annoying. Considering how much money they make off of me a season and being a long-time gold member in good standing. I'm over it. I'm looking at other facilities in the area that are actually a better deal. read more

My husband took me here as a surprise. I LOVE softball so I was really excited to go here. The place is not bad. We did a reloadable card to start which would have been a rest great option if people would read the rules and stick to them. You are suppose to do two swipes and then let the next people go, then you go back to the end of the line. That absolutely did not happen. People were buying the cards because it's cheaper and then dominating the 3 cages they have for drop ins. We waited for 45 minutes. I think it would have been helpful if a staff member was located down there to ensure that patrons are following the rules. If no one is down there, you will legit never get a turn. Since we didn't get to actually use the drop in cages. We then just decided to buy a cage for a 1/2 hour. So we went back the counter flipped our card into the cage so now we went from 40 dollars to 75. We got two buckets of softballs and what seem to be like fake softballs that when you place into the pitching machine they fling all over. For the amount of money, it was definitely not worth it. The female CSR was extremely nice and very helpful. The male seemed to be slightly bent that he had to change the machine from baseball to softball. However, I get it. It was Friday night and super busy. However, the change out took so long that we actually only got 20 minutes of our 30 minutes because the other people were not told that we had 10 more minutes. I would not recommend if you just want to drop in and hit some balls. To end on a positive, if you are a coach of a team, a membership would be very beneficial here. read more

Cages are good size and the facility is very clean. Employee was friendly and helped when the lights turned off mid round. They are motion censored is all in the middle area. All real baseballs and softballs used. Great deals for consistent hitters coming a lot or if you just want to take some swings without the obligation. Will be coming back. read more

D-bats is a very great batting cages but it all ways has a bad smell all way hot. The machine never pitch constantly they all either pitch to the ground or in the air.they need to start servicing the machine need service everyday after they close. read more

Met some friends here at 6:30pm on a Monday to hit some balls before our next adult men's softball season starts up next week. Convenient set up and fair price. Paid $25 for 150 balls. Only cons are that parking was tight despite the large parking lot and we had to wait a while to get a cage. Machines work well, staff was friendly, facility is well kept. The first time we booked a cage for my son to practice hitting. When we got there, there was only a T and not a pitching machine. We had expected a pitching machine and when I asked if we could rent one the lady said that one doesn't work well and one is broken. As she said they don't do refunds I asked if we could transfer the $75 to a private lesson. We booked a private lesson and came back a few weeks later, and when we arrived at the scheduled time found out that she had in fact not booked our lesson. The teacher had been booked for our time slot so we were unable to have a lesson. We live an hour away (each way) so we left with a disappointed child and a big waste of time. I asked for a refund and it was provided. Two trips there without being able to hit. I do not recommend as we went twice and both times there were errors with our bookings and poor customer service. read more

I was a Platinum member at this location from the time this facility from the day they opened in January 2017. The owner has "0" loyalty to any customers he even told me that he is not loyal to me as a customer and he only cares that I be loyal to him. Mind you, I was spending almost $600 a month there. They take team reservation's and will even supply a pitching machine if you request one. With all of the rain D-bat stays busy so be sure to reserve your cage if you have a group of people hitting. Cancelled my membership online but then they emailed me asking me to continue membership, stating That they would resolve the issues I had. After a few weeks of not seeing any progress I emailed them back twice saying I want to continue the cancellation. Months later I realize they were still charging me monthly fees! The facility is great but the last several months I've been here the A/C has never been on. Today your thermostat is showing 87 degrees inside. It's only going to get worse as the summer continues. I understand trying to save money but you can't run a business like this. I pay for a membership and almost $80 for an hour lesson in near 90 degree heat inside with no air movement. read more

The assistant manager is the rudest jerk I have ever had to deal with. To cuss us out in front of our children and other families was completely out of line and uncalled for.... All because our membership card wasn't working and didn't like that we went to the counter more then once. Pitching machine was not throwing right, super high then low then outside. We had to move cages twice and same problem a waste of money. The machine wheel looked wore out and over used without maintenance. We have a D-Bat in Lubbock TX and it takes way better care of its equipment. read more

Nice place, great cages. Set up is cool, however there were no softball bats for sale. The one place it's lacking is customer service. I went in with my friend on Tuesday, October 23 at 10 am. The guy there looked like he hated his job and just didnt want to be there. When we got to the cages, I asked if I could go inside with my friend or if I just had to stand outside (never been so I just simply asked). He gave me a look like he thought I was an idiot and laughed at me. Dumb question? Yes. But thats just crap customer service. Put someone else up front and have this guy scrubbing toilets away from the paying customers. read more

This place is awesome! Excellent customer service, the facilities are immaculate, the machines are great, and the environment is awesome. Bought a ton of credits early in the day, came back and did some more practice later in the evening, they were even cool letting me use the machines to break-in my new 1B glove. They asked what my intentions were, trying to gauge my needs and recommended getting credits at first, I bought a lot more than Matt said I should try, he was surprised for sure. This review was long over due but just saw a post on Instagram that lead me here. When they first opened it was great. Nice place and no complaints at all except a little over crowded at times. The shop sold me a wood bat for my then 9 year old cause he said it's great for practice. Went and used it the next day at there facility and 3 swings in it breaks. No big deal I thought. Nope, no returns or refunds. Wtf!!! Cancelled my membership that day and done with that place. Told many parents about my experience too. And yes I went to the manager too which then called the owner so I tried my best to resolve it before leaving a lousy review. read more

Decided to go back because I still had credit there. Went in the middle of the day when all the kids are in school. Tried two different machines and both were pitching really high and I'm 6'4" tall. I can only back up so much before you run into the back net. Other people were saying the same thing. We all kept hitting the down button repeatedly but nothing changed. Awesome facility and very well maintained. The machines pitch both baseball or softball from 40 mph to 75 mph. There are also separate cages to practice pitching and fielding. The staff is very friendly and always willing to help out. I take all my sons here and they love it. read more

If I could give this place zero stars I would. The guy at the front who answers the phones is extremely rude and disrespectful. I called to reschedule my appointment and he went off on a rant on how I could not reschedule my appointment and they would still charge me. When I asked how much I would be charged he stated the full amount. This was the first time I had to reschedule one of my 4 private lessons for my son. I told him it made no sense to charge the full amount. He hung up on me. He later called back and stated that he spoke with the coach and they will not be charging me. When I asked why he felt the need to be rude on the phone earlier he started yelling again and said he was just stating the policy and hung up once again. At this point I will no longer be a customer here and will be looking for a new place. I could not believe how someone could have incredibly poor customer service skills.
