Great facility and excellent food court. The folks running the food court were soo friendly and had good service. We were there this weekend for a tournament and it was nice to have regular food and good coffee being served while we were there. The front podium rest of the staff was also nice and welcoming. This Volleyball club is all about money, your child is not very good but they tell you they made the elite team, then ask immediately for money 2200.00, you must pay at that moment or they don't make the team, then you are hassled for another 550.00 montly for the next 8 months, they had my credit card information and stole 1058.00 from me with no notice or why. There are girl on the team that want to fight team mates, its so ghetto...Please beware of this club. read more

This is a program that I would recommend to any parent who wants their athlete to be coached the right way, prepared for high level competition, and surrounded by people with class and integrity. The owners have built two successful programs in volleyball and dance (Temecula Dance Company) that have endured for decades, and that's a testament to how hard they work and the care they put into their athletes. I've had an athlete in both programs and they have become like family. Negative reviews that question their care or integrity don't ring true from my experience and I would advise parents to see for themselves. As a family member of a player, I had to watch first hand the emotional damage a coach can inflict on a player. The staff and coaches at viper do not have the players best interest at heart. I would not recommend this club to anyone who wants to become a stronger volleyball player. There are plenty of clubs in the Temecula area that will treat your player better than Viper. read more

We love Viper! My girls started playing here in their ACES program and now my oldest is playing in college! We had a short time away from Viper due to family relocation but they were so happy to return! There are closer clubs to us but Viper is worth the drive. They have elite coaches and amazing staff. Viper volleyball hosts numerous tournaments, charges for parking and admission, but doesn't take credit cards, cash only. I tried to pay the $10 parent admission fee with cc and was told to ask another parent for money or go down the street to an ATM. I cleaned my pack and car out for money and came up with $9.75 in bills and coins. They then told me they didn't take coins! I work 3 jobs so my kids can play organized sports, and they didn't want to let me in to see my kid play over 25 cents! "It's the owners policy," I was told. The owner should be ashamed and move into the 21st century. Many businesses don't take cash, only CC, due to covid. When I found a quarter, they let me in. The bathrooms were out of order, and it was 50 degrees inside. NEVER GOING BACK TO VIPER! read more

I would have giving -0 star if was there..They don't know how to teach volleyball to girls, I waisted more than $3000. And travel time to have my daughter to be bench warmer watching their favorites play. While a few players loose their excitement of volleyball since hardly can play, Even a few complaints nothing changed. They loose most of the games to wort teams. There are better clubs you can find. They have been accepted into college (Congratulations to them)! Don't be fooled. This last tournament at JVA was against National teams but the viper team is labeled as their elite team. No air conditioner in the gym and they don't turn on their fans even when the weather is over 100 degrees . Poor kids are melting!

Their business operations are very poorly organized. Front office does not communicate well. They do not turn on fans or air conditioning during extreme summer weather. If it's 100 degrees outside how hot is it inside?? read more

My daughter LOVED her Aces class with coach Ryan. Unfortunately we had to pull her out recently to take a break financially but we hope to sign her up again as soon as possible. Coach Ryan's class is the best! He is amazing with the kids. Great balance of fun and learning. The more fun it is the more they stay interested in learning (for my daughter at least). My family has been with Viper for many many years. My children have enjoyed their time and have made many lifelong friends. I do caution everyone to realize if you join a travel team at Viper, expect your child will be with that particular team for years to come. 80% of their players do not move up to different teams/levels as they age,. Therefore, there is limited growth and opportunity to grow from other players and obtain different experiences. I am not writing this review because my child did not increase in levels and I was an unhappy parent. In fact, that is quite the opposite. My family finished our time with this club, therefore I feel I'm a good resource to provide a quality review. Another downfall is they allow their coaches to coach their own children on their teams, which always created favoritism problems amongst the players and parents. Communication is lacking at this club - you are not encouraged to express concerns or ideas with the ownership and/or management team. If you do, they will not return your phone call or emails. Parent input is not valued at this club. You are expected to do what they say, pay your dues, and have no input. Customer appreciation- they do not value each family. I have been with this club for over 10 years, with 2 children enrolled, and never had been said hello to, said thank you for being a customer, or even acknowledged by the owners/ management team. This club is truly about collecting dues and not showing appreciation to their customers. Coaches - coaches are great, which is one of the reasons we stayed at this club. Parking facility- the parking lot is very dangerous and needs improvement. Tons of children walking in it, with no traffic control. This club would be absolutely perfect if they figure out a way to improve on their customer service/appreciation to all the parents who spend so much money with them. This can be done by a simple phone call saying thank you once a year. When parents are spending thousands of dollars, I think that's a small step that can be done by the owner. Also returning calls and emails is important as well. The reason we stayed for so long at this club is because of the relationships with the players and other families, which is important. read more

Viper has been a home to me since I was 9 years old. The staff is filled with great wonderful people that are truly care about the kids who play for them. The owner Ed is is a great business owner, who is very involved in our community. Viper provided me with the opportunity to play college volleyball on a scholarship. Viper is not just a business its a family. If you are just getting started with volleyball, they offer beginners class that range from ages 5-18. These really provide a great opportunity for players to learn the basics of the sport before trying out for a team. GO VIPER! read more

We moved to the area a few months ago and my 13 year old daughter was looking for a place to play volleyball. We searched Yelp and found Viper Volleyball in Temecula. We signed her up for their fall training program and I cannot be happier with her growth in the short ten week period. She recently tried out for their club team and made it on their Nationals level! She is beyond excited about this, and even offered to help pay the tuition with her monthly allowance. Viper is a huge organization with many different levels and ages represented throughout their massive gymnasium of eight courts. It is fun to walk around and see the skill sets of the different teams and ages. (Be careful of flying volleyballs) All of the coaches and staff are upbeat, supportive and enthusiastic. It is fun to watch them gather at the end of every practice and give shout outs to the kids who really worked hard and demonstrated excellent sportsmanship throughout the evening. They also have volunteer players give shout outs to their friends. It is a lot of fun and already feels like a home for my daughter. Kelly is in charge and will do her best to make you feel like you are in the right place. She remembers the kids names and always is shouting words of encouragement to them all. I would highly recommend this organization for your teenager. They are worth every penny! read more

Amazing culture. I'm the director so probably just a bit bias, the bad reviews on yelp are from before my time here in Temecula. Love the staff, coaches, families and kids. It's a great place to train and a special place to be connected with. We recently started a beach program and brought beach volleyball to over 100 new payers last season. Our boys program, rec league, elite teams, camps, clinics and classes are all having continued success. We are doing the right things and so happy to have such a great staff to lean on. I was very disappointed with this club, my girls have played at a few different clubs over the years and always had great experiences. Due to the pandemic the club was shut down and tournaments were canceled, which was expected, and the owner offered a credit or refund to the families. I never got a dime and I paid for the whole season upfront. I've called and emailed the owner and he is not returning my messages. It's very sad that they benefited from struggling families during this difficult time! There are other more ethical clubs in the area! read more

After 10 years two kids in the program, coaches are great. Not my complaint. Please read the cancellation part of the contract!!!! Caviot Emptor. After paying up front $1800.00 plus a uniform, $98.00, under circumstances not know to me, my kid could not play in the up coming season. I called and asked for a refund, and after several calls and emails, they said did you read the cancellation clause? I take full responsibility, NO! No refund! Wait, they did just a day before deduct my credit card $300.00. Ed was NICE enough to refund my $300.00. What a nice man. What a nice BUSINESS MAN! I know of one other person this happened to. Do not know there outcome? I have nothing against the staff. Realize, the are employed by ED. After paying up front, not one practice, or other wise. No services were rendered, did you read the cancellation clause? Once again, when you are signing up your kid after waiting in line and in a hurry with a lot going on, I now realize it is a busy and sometimes you just want to sign and get out of there. I did not have anyone there at anytime for all the years I paid, specifically tell me if you cancell, you will loose your already paid monies. So disappointed in this organization. Signed up my daughter for her 2nd year and she decided not to play after being enrolled for only 16 days. October 22-November 5. Paid $523 in that time. The season doesn't even start until end of November. She was not assigned a team or a coach, so never even stepped foot on a court.. When asked for our money back, was told no refunds. After back and forth pleading, they refunded $254 of my money telling me they made an exception for me.. and that I was not getting anymore back. They had to pay for registration and tournament fees.. For my daughter who was never even on a team? I call total BS. I understand not refunding me the "holding a spot fee". of $60, but what about the rest? I've had two daughters go through Viper over the last five years, which we all know is several thousands of dollars.. and as a single mom have struggled to pay the Viper fees but always encouraged them to play.
