They have 2 mini golf courses: 1) pirate themed and 2) castle themed and both of the courses are really well maintained and have really cool features and tons of different obstacles. They have water features, the pirate course is 2 stories tall, they have really interesting holes, it's not just turf they have imitation sand and water and "rough" - the mini golf is really great here! You go here to redeem and each of us received a card. they had stickers to label the cards to tell them apart. We did the 18 hole miniature golf, go karts, and batting cages. The go kart has a separate toddler track near the batting cages. I actually got bored on the track because they have you out there for a good 10 minutes and all you do is go in circles. The batting cages were tricky based on the speed of the ball. Make sure you wear your helmets. Afterwards we played in the arcade. We ordered nachos for $3.75. They asked if we wanted jalapeños, we said on the side. Turns out, it was $1 charge for a small container! At least be honest and give heads up. I was wondering why nachos cost almost double. I spent $400 on a bat that was sitting right in their "USA Bat" section. I trusted the sign. I trusted them. The very next day I realized it wasn't a USA bat at all--it was a USSSA bat. Completely the wrong one. My son can't even use it for the leagues he plays in. Brand new, still in perfect condition, just... wrong. I went back that same day. The same guy who sold it to me was working. I didn't even get the chance to show him the bat or explain. He just looked at me and said, "We don't accept returns." Then he turned and walked to the back of the store like I wasn't even standing there. Like the last few years of us coming in didn't matter. Like I was just some random person he had never seen before. When he finally came back out, I tried again. I told him it had been marked as a USA bat, that it was brand new, that my son literally can't use it. He just stared at me. No apology. No offer to help. No nothing. Just silence. Then he walked away again. I have pictures of the bat sitting in the USA section and of the brand-new bat itself. They put the wrong bat in the wrong section and then acted like it was my problem when I tried to fix it. I'm not asking for special treatment. I just wanted them to care a little after everything. Instead I left feeling completely dismissed and stupid for trusting them. It really hurts when a place you've supported for years treats you like you don't matter the second there's a problem. His current team has 1 practice per week at 5 Tool San Marcos. There is a 2nd (original) facility in Carlsbad (off Palomar Airport Rd area). Both sites are great facilities, the newer San Marcos (San Elijo) complex is cleaner and also seems much bigger. They have a dedicated area for pitching as well, with private coaching. The San Elijo facility is very clean with a dedicated staff always willing to assist. I'm guessing there are 15 tunnels in total? You can rent one and your coach or Dad/Mom whoever can throw to you or feed you balls. If flying solo? Staff will step in. They also provide private and semi-private lessons for both hitting and pitching and the coaching is solid! Another cool variable is the nets are all on rollers so you can pull them to side and clear a bigger space to hit ground balls if so desired. My son's competitive team rents out a section that encompasses 3 tunnels that they pull the best to make half-tunnels and then create a station for grounders.
