Mike and his team successfully installed a Daikin VRV system in our home literally right before our old unit died. His team of installer/techs not only were cordial but extremely knowledgeable. As a business owner myself I am not shy about the cost of the solution we provide. I am a firm believer of "you get what you pay for". This fit the old mantra to a T! We had quotes ranging from 5k to 17k. No one knew the product as well as Mike and no one offered multiple products like he did. It was either cheap or the extreme. We are very happy with the installation, product, and responsiveness that Compass has provided to us. I can confidently recommend Mike/Compass to anyone looking for a quality product and install. Best part of all. The Daikin unit is so quite that you have to stand next to it to hear it run. It is very impressive and efficient. Compass Heating & Air - 5 Stars all day!!

Meticulous attention to detail. Went well above and beyond in every way. This is the business you want working on your heating and cooling! I saw him working - in addition to knowledge and experience he has a good working culture, and you'll rarely find it these days!!! He did a complete A/C system replacement for me. He quoted the project and after that explained all the details I was asking about (even I was asking quite a bit more than a usual customer would). As a result we slightly corrected his initial standard proposal to better fit my not quite standard case. His price was sure better than those big companies estimated. After being a customer of Allied Air Conditioning and Heating Corp. for 37 years and watching deterioration of service level there as well as a price increase I'm switching to ThermPro Heating and Cooling on a permanent base for all my HVAC needs. I can see that here you can talk it through and find solution (possibly even not a standard one) that will fit your needs and checkbook. Corporate America does not operate this way (it just cannot) - they have a set of rules and some company standards that they have to be within, but I, as a customer, do not care about. In addition to all I see that if we, consumers, will not support businesses like this one, we will be paying more for less service. So I strongly encourage you to consider ThermPro Heating and Cooling for all your HVAC needs! And I thank Erik very much for the good job he's done for me.

Incredible Super Heroes! In the movies, the first thing we…read moresee a hero do in order to win our hearts is some small act of kindness or warm-heartedness and gentleness. Screen writers call it "saving the cat". Just recently Algonquin Heating & Air-conditioning did just that for my family! They literally saved our cat! She had crawled down through a floor heating duct and got stuck. Very stuck. Like no way out but to take the tube down and pry it apart stuck--in a crawlspace! (I know, I know. I should never have removed the register.) The technicians they sent out could not have been kinder, more eager to help---and expert at their craft! They crawled on their hands an knees over pea gravel all the way over to where the cat was, disconnected and pulled down the very long tube, gently pried some of it apart, and with lots of patience and gentleness, coaxed the cat out. They even led the charge in catching her as she ran all over my crawl space scared out of her wits!! After all of that, they did a free checkup of my furnace (including a new air filter) and taped up a bad spot in my duct work that substantially improved the air flow! That, in turn, eliminated my urges to pop off my floor registers to try to get more heat or A/C into my little home studio. The cat was saved and the furnace air flow works so much better now! THE END (roll the credits) Epilogue: After about three days, our cat finally calmed down, came out of hiding and is doing fine. Although she is right now, at this very moment, as I'm writing this, sniffing around at the very register where she was previously stuck --and I'm not making this up! to quote Dave Barry. But, you know what they say about cats and curiosity..... I'm on to you, cat. That register is never coming off again! PS: If you want a textbook example of "saving the cat" in the movies watch the first 5 minutes of 2004 "The Incredibles." It's a hoot!

Asked their technician to come out to perform an inspection and provide a report for potential home buyers. They failed to provide the service and have failed to follow up on phone calls and emails. The report was a simple invoice with notes. This would have been acceptable except for the report containing notes contradicting the verbal report the technician gave. They added notes such as "could crack any day" and "recommend replacement" immediately after noting the HVAC system was in good condition. I don't appreciate their effort to gain business at my expense, their dishonesty adding notes to the report they never discussed verbally during their inspection, or their lack of customer service. These issues were shared with them in an attempt to resolve them and they have not responded (phone or email) since they said they would get back to me over a month ago. They do not care about addressing customer concerns or following through on the service they promise.
