The first thing that stood out was their hours of operation. I called around 7:00 PM and was able to schedule a service call the following day. The technician arrived promptly during the scheduled window. My wife explained he issue we were having and he got right to work. After a thorough examination, he determined that the issue was with the thermostat and immediately replaced it. The cost for the parts and service was very reasonable. I am not usually a 5 star guy but in this case, I can't help it. There is nothing bad to say. We were having issues with our furnace that was not that old, installed a few years ago by what we thought was a reputable company. Orange came out, spent some time diagnosing the furnace and found out that it was not programed properly from the day it was installed. It was set to run only on low speed, this was a big issue when it was very cold outside. They reset it and now-happy warm wife-happy warm life!! Thanks Orange!! Quality of work and professionalism all fine. Prices charged not so much. Had humidifiers replaced on two furnaces at cost of $1500. Humidifiers themselves are about $200 each, leaving $1100 for 2 hours of installation work. I understand and appreciate there may be several hands to feed in the transaction, but in my analysis, $550/hour to pay everyone and make a profit is way too much. Billing consistent with quotation provided, and shame on me for not getting more personally involved up front on the transaction. Take note and pay attention before you engage. read more

There for me when I had a problem! Friendly, honest service at fair prices. I'm not one who maintains my heating and cooling system admittedly. Like many others, I assume that when I turn my thermostat to whatever temp I want, it should just work. Until it failed one day of course... When I needed it the most! Orange was quick in their diagnosis, and only sold me what I needed, (some inexpensive part that I already forgot the name of). They repaired the furnace and its keeping me warm. Professional local company that does a good job for a fair price. Our air conditioner wasn't cooling the house down and of course it was the hottest week of the year so far! Before we called in a service, we looked up and tried various trouble shooting suggestions. No luck so we started looking up service companies. With all positive reviews, Orange Home Services stood out from the others. We love to support local businesses and have also found that a local business is more likely to go the extra mile for a neighbor. We weren't disappointed. Even though this is "emergency time" for air conditioner repair, we were pleasantly surprised to get an appointment first thing the next morning (Thanking God, since it was supposed to be a real feel of 93 degrees which means our house would be an oven!). We had a window of 2 hours but he showed up in the first 45 minutes. Pleasant and professional, he did everything that every online consumer website told us to expect from a good repairman. He covered his feet, asked us to explain the problem, and then went looking at the equipment. He found a leak right away. He performed some additional tests and then called us out to explain the problem and the repair. He patiently answered our questions. My favorite thing is that he didn't talk fast, talk in a condescending manner, or interrupt us when we spoke (I've found that people who do that are usually trying to put one over on you!). The price he quoted was fair and after he left, we immediately felt the difference. I cannot recommend this company enough! read more
