I called this business because our air conditioner quit blowing cool air. They sent a technician out the next day and he informed us we needed a new capacitor. He said it would cost $644. to repair. I went online, and did a little research and learned that the part was under $75. and labor should take less than 45 min. When I questioned him, he said they had a flat fee. I asked him if that meant he expected me to pay $500 an hour for labor? I then said no thanks and called another company who is coming this morning and charging me $175 total. What a rip off Four Seasons is!! I still had to pay them $150 for the service call. Stay away from this company. read more

Rip-off!!!Stay away!!!!They price repair service based on your desperation. I called them to fix a furnace making a loud clanking noise. I had to turn off the furnace the night before as the noise was unbearable. It was 50 f in the house when the technician showed up. He said the blower motor and the cage needs to be replaced and priced it at $1357. I was desperate to have my house warm again and didn't give it a thought and agreed. While he was gone to get parts I got a call from All-Temp whom I had previously called to get a price. Now since the furnace was opened up and the problem diagnosed I was able to accurately describe the issue to him and he gave a quote of $700 to fix it. After the technician from All Seasons came back with parts, I took pictures of the labels on the boxes and searched the parts on google. The maximum price for the blower motor was $ 218 on amazon and $ 89 for the cage (see attached photo for part #'s on boxes brought by the technician and feel free to google it yourselves). So they charged me upwards of$ 1000 for the labor. Since I agreed in a haste I had to pay up. The technician also performed some diagnostic tests and cleaned the flame sensor after installing the motor for 5 minutes, but I do not believe it's worth $1000 of labor.All I could do now is to write this review in hopes that it'll help others like me. In response to Kim G's comment below - When i mentioned the quote to your technician he was already in process of installing the motor and he offered no reasonable explanation for the huge difference in cost. Also, please see the pictures for price on the 'OEM' motor quoted from Amazon and other stores. Now, don't tell me a more costly motor is $1000 more expensive than a generic one. And I know for a fact that bulk suppliers (like source1parts) to Contractors charge a lot less than what other retail sites (like Amazon) charge. Anyways looking from the label I understand that the motor used in my furnace was generic too, not made by york. The diagnostic fee that you waived is not the point at all looking at the scale of unfair margin you had built into this service call. The $400 credit is of no use to me as I would never ever return for service from you guys. read more

Do not give your credit card over the phone to these people! Vents were blowing cold air and I just moved into this house so I figured I'd have them look at my furnace and answer a few questions. The repair tech's name was Jacob. Seemed nice an professional at first. He kind of hinted he wanted to be alone while looking on the furnace so I went upstairs. I came back down a few minutes later and he was in my utility room with the door closed which I thought was weird so, I decided to stay and ask him some questions. He then just said he cleaned the flame sensor and changed the filter - I noticed after he left he did not change the filter because I checked the filter prior to him coming and it was clean and had the same dent in the same spot. They charged $150 to come out on a Saturday which was fine. The part that was not fine was the additional $285 for 15 minutes of nothing really. I questioned the charge and was trying to talk with him like an adult to have him explain why this was the price and he got really agitated and became a completely different person. It was really weird and it made me not trust him at all. Something is up with this company and their technicians. Zero honesty and they will charge you for everything they can whether they provided the service or not. Stay away or see for yourself. read more

I cannot recommend All Seasons enough. Our furnace went out on a Friday night during a weekend where the expected temperature was going to be around 20 degrees. I called the company that had installed and had been maintaining my furnace for 13 years. We agreed that it needed to be replaced. On Sunday, after several communication fails and 36 hours in a cold house, I decided I needed another company. I called all seasons and spoke to Maggie. Maggie instantly put me at ease and assured me that they could have an installer at my house by 7:30 am on Monday. She was also completely confused as to why the other company couldn't get me a new furnace on Saturday. Long story short. The first two techs came as expected. They took measurements and phoned them in. While they were tearing out the old furnace, Maggie's husband and company co-owner, Leroy, brought the new furnace to my house. Everyone from Maggie to Leroy to the installers were warm (no pun intended), friendly, professional, and competent. By midafternoon, we had heat and All Seasons had a new LIFELONG customer. read more

Thanks for taking the time to read my review. My tenant called All Seasons to come out and diagnose what was wrong with his heat. They stated that they consider after hours after 6pm although the tech ( Mike ) arrived at 5:40 and was only there for about 20 minutes for starters. They diagnosed that the furnace was not working because the inducer motor was seized due to overheating. In the process of diagnosing the seized inducer motor it kicked back on but only ran for a short time and seized again sometime a few hours later in the middle of the night. just like ( Mike ) the technician said it would so therefore it needed to be replaced. Sounds like a good Diagnosis Right???? I called to ask what the price for a new motor would be and they did not know they said they would need to find out and call me in the morning. After 26 years in business you would think they would know almost exactly what the cost of these common parts would have been. Sensing that they were about to rip me off I decided to call someone who could fix it first thing in the morning and not charge me an arm and a leg. I would have happily paid All Seasons the $120 fee for coming out and diagnosing the furnace after hours but to my surprise All seasons ended up charging $241 dollars for what they call an UNSPECIFIED UNKNOWN REPAIR.......HHUUUMMMMM that is their policy and since there is no code for it in their system that is what they call it. I then called the owner Maggie who told me that they had to charge because it TURNED ON while diagnosing and they would have been happy to apply it to the total cost had I let them replace it. She specified that they would not have been in Naperville for 26 years if they were ripping people off. I have no knowledge of what their past has been but the past does not define who you are today and in tough times people get desperate and TAKE ADVANTAGE of others. I am just saying that they ripped me off with their PHANTOM UNSPECIFIED UNKNOWN REPAIRS. I do not know how much they would have ended up charging for the full repair but I hope to never find out as I will never use All Seasons Heating and Cooling Again. Always go with your gut. I am suspicious of this company. We have the service package which has them coming out to the house twice a year, once for heat and once for cooling. When they came this past winter to check the furnace the tech said everything was running smoothly and was very clean for an older unit. As soon as he left when the furnace kicked on and then ran it's heating cycle it would turn off and then try and restart several times (false starts) before settling down. I called right away to tell them this was happening right after the technician had been out to the house. I was told that someone could come out to check the unit but I would be charged a service call and that the circuit board would more than likely need replacing. I told the woman absolutely not, that we would not pay for a service call since the tech had just been to the house and the problem had not happened before he came and serviced the unit. We have lived with the crazy furnace that does work but makes unnecessary noises. Now we are into the summer and we had our A/C unit serviced on Friday. The tech said again that everything was running smoothly and well, especially for an older unit. Now today (Tuesday) the unit isn't cooling and isn't even running. I called right away to mention this problem and I was told that someone could come out in the morning. I told the woman that I will not pay for a service call and she said that a service charge would be charged. I am refusing to pay any service charge because again, how ironic that a day or two after the unit is serviced it doesn't work...REALLY? I will not be using this company's services again unless they take care of both issues that they have no doubt created. read more

I called this company to fix an issue on my furnace: it had an intermittent issue and would stop working one or twice per week, and would have to be manually restarted in the basement. They came 3 days later, and the guy detected the issue (which was an air leak), but he broke the defective part completely (the part is called a Pan condensate), so that the furnace could not run at all after his intervention ! He had not such spare part in his truck, he charged $85 for the diagnostic, and said we would be called to get a quote for the reparation. The quote was $579. We thought that this was because the part was expensive and complicated to change, and accepted to be charged upfront: big mistake ! The guy did the reparation, and it took just 40mn to change the part. We checked on the WEB: the part price is actually $85.00 resale price !! We have been charged $589 for a $85 piece and 40mn of work (not even counting the disgnostic price) ! In addition, the part was not mounted correctly and we had a big water leak afterward: they had to come back the day after to fix it ! I called them several times to try to lower the bill, but they did not accept to change anything ! Stay away from All Season's !!! read more
