    SCAM SCAM SCAM stay away they quote you one price then you get charged triple. They said they were with AT&T but are a rival company. They will say and do anything to get you to switch. Stay away people please this company is a SCAM.

Many people left, including an older woman who had waited for about an hour just to cancel a service for her family. The staff member turned her away because the account holder wasn't present, and didn't try to offer any alternative solutions. She left frustrated. They really need more staff on weekends to support customers. Now I understand why the rating is what it is. We waited almost 40 minutes just to return equipment from our old house, and the actual return process took less than five minutes. There should be a faster system for simple equipment returns -- even just scanning a code like Amazon would make it much more efficient..

(My modem and router were wrong for our new service) They asked me if I wanted them shipped to me the next day or get them in person. I asked to pick them up myself. I was told to go to my nearest spectrum store which is Encino. It was late but as long as I got in before 8pm it was going to be ok. So I go. I Sign in and finally after one customer left rather upset. I was next. I said I just needed to swap my items and I'd be out of there. But he insisted they were being shipped to me tomorrow. I told him they were supposed to be picked up by me, but he insisted they were being overnighted. I asked, can I turn these in here? He said no and that they would be lost in the system, and I would be charged for them. I told them I was rather miffed that I got the runaround and questioned why they couldn't accept our old components. He avoided answering me. I said, admittedly rather upset, "So I come here rushing against the clock to make it in time from my house and I get nothing for my trouble. Sorry. He says with a smile. I cursed under my breath and left. As they locked the door behind me the two remaining employees laughed. I want back to the door and said are you guys laughing at me. They just literally smiled and kept laughing. (The next day I called spectrum again, and I'm told that the modem and router won't be in till Friday! Only after two more hours am I told I can indeed pick them up after all! (Porter ranch store) By the way. After I picked them up, It then took four and a half hours more of calls to get the system working. Yes, all that to reconnect my cable from a months disuse. I'm upset about all the time wasted trying to get this sorted but those two clowns at the Encino store that night really went out of their way to deny me service. I am going to be calling the manager about those two a**hats, but I'm sure that will get nothing accomplished. I do intend to get their names and post them here. Spectrum. You better get this right with me. ASAP. .

He even discovered a damaged wire in one of my walls and went above and beyond to get everything working through another cable port. He was incredibly patient while I shifted things around so he could reach the panel in my closet, and he also helped me update my SSID and password, which I really appreciated! Did a wifi speed test right after and it matched the target right off the bat! Highly recommend Bai Connect/Zentro--their value for the speeds totally beat out AT&T/Spectrum (not to mention headache-free!)--and I'm super happy with Jeff's excellent service!

The #1 issue is that if you ever…read morehave a problem with your internet that requires anything more than merely restarting your modem you are going to be placed in technical support limbo for days, weeks, and maybe even months. As noted in other reviews, the way in which the customer service works is by transferring you to a representative that at best can only ask you to unplug your router and plug it back in again. If you have a more serious problem, then the best they can do is refer you to their mysterious "tier 2" team. They will tell you that your issue has been escalated and to expect a call back the same day or the following day. Currently, I have been waiting back to hear from this team for a month. I have called over and over again and I am unable to reach a single individual who can help me with my problem. This is a nightmare for someone who works at home and requires stable internet to do their job well. Reading other reviews and looking online demonstrates that this is a common enough problem that signing up for this service is a bad idea. If you are searching for an apartment and you find one that offers BAI connect, I encourage you to keep searching and to tell the apartment management that you will not be submitting an application because of the ISP they chose. Trust me, you do not want to be stuck in this hellish scenario of wasting hours of your time weeks on end to get no where. What you are paying for is just not worth it. I have been a customer of ATT and Spectrum, while both have their failings, I can at the very least say that I was able to get a hold of someone who could help me eventually. If your service works as intended, then great, but do not get fooled by reviews written in the best of circumstances. If one thing goes wrong you are going to suffer for it because they are either too lazy, incompetent, or just plain spiteful to help you get your issue resolved. Finally, if this review speaks to your own experience, please leave your own review on yelp and file a complaint with the FTC. They are defrauding their customers on the most basic level by denying them access to adequate customer support. Further, make your voice heard and force apartment buildings to seek better service providers. Avoid BAI connect at all costs.

    I received a call from Preferred Long Distance, Inc. and I was told that they could lower my AT&T…read morelong distance phone bill so I signed up for their service. Well I got my first phone bill after signing up with them and instead of my bill being lowered, it was actually DOUBLE was I used to pay because of their charges. Unfortunately, I had to pay their first charge on my phone bill because if I didn't my phone would have been shut off. So after I received these charges, I called the company and cancelled their service immediately and I was told I would no longer be charged. Well the next month came along and they were still charging me even though I had canceled their service, and I was told I would not be charged. So, since I had told them to cancel my service, and they still charged me, I refused to pay them. Now currently, I am receiving calls from a collection agency and they are attempting to collect money from me that was charged to me illegally and fraudulently. This company is a SCAM and they need to be shut down. I have contacted the BBB with my complaint, I am still waiting to hear back from them. When I get an update, I will post it here.

The network design we inherited was not optimal, so we were looking at improving the topology while adding capacity. I was looking at several vendors to run some fiber from our chemistry room and one existing IDF back to our server room / MDF. I looked at several vendors and wasn't impressed. I had a vendor I'd previously worked with, but they weren't as responsive as I'd liked. This project is moving fairly quickly, and we needed someone to do the work sooner than later. During the process, I found Fusion Networking and Technology. I reached out to them for a quote, and received a call back the same day. I spoke to Gaspar, who was friendly, professional, and pleasant to speak to and work with. He came out to do a job walk the following week (I had some WFH days and various meetings, so the delay was on me, not on them). We discussed ideas, and then he sent us a quote (which was a good price and very fair), and contacted me to schedule the job. We happened to be in the office working on a Sunday, and he wondered if he could come out the same Sunday and start the job, which was a real treat. Gaspar and Junior drove out, showed up on time, and got to work. During this work, they were very careful respectful of our facility and laboratory instruments, and cleaned up after themselves. They completed the job at about the time they were scheduled to finish, and tested everything to make sure the fiber was performing well. The installation was tidy, attractive, professional, well-labeled, and they even left us a few extra fiber jumpers, which we didn't even know we wanted or needed. I tested all the runs myself and everything was connected at 10 Gbps, as expected. Unfortunately, now, we have to tidy up / mine out the old 66 blocks, mushrooms, cross-connect cables that happen to be OUR mess (which we inherited) and look horrible compared to the awesome work they did! But that's on us! If you need some fiber or cabling work, Fusion Networking is the way to go. Timely, professional, friendly, and affordable. I highly recommend them!

I originally called Spectrum because I was planning to cancel my internet due to the price. I had been paying about $90 per month for 600 Mbps, which felt too high. The customer service representative was extremely helpful and worked with me to find a solution. They ended up offering me 1 Gig internet for $30 per month, which honestly shocked me. On top of that, they also sent me a brand new WiFi 7 router to my home free of charge. When the new router arrived, I called customer service again to get everything activated. The people on the phone were knowledgeable, patient, and very easy to work with. They walked me through everything and had my internet up and running quickly. After that, I went to the Spectrum retail store down the street from me to return my old router. I was honestly expecting the typical telecom store experience where sales reps are pushy about adding services or making it difficult to return equipment. I have had that happen at other companies before. Instead, the experience was the complete opposite. The store was very clean, organized, and welcoming. The staff were friendly and professional. A gentleman who I believe was named Reese helped me. He was kind, efficient, and not pushy at all. He processed my return quickly and made the whole visit very easy. Overall, the entire experience from customer service on the phone to the retail store visit was excellent. I went into this expecting frustration and instead walked away very impressed. Very happy with Spectrum right now.
