Tellus Coffee opened 3 months ago where Açaí & Bowl Cafe once was. Internal decor is flora intense. A few tables outside. Some more tables inside. Service was efficient & cordial by single barrista present. Offerings: espressos, pour overs, tea, smoothies, iced drinks, fresh juices, breakfast, empanadas. Sips: Terra pour over (16 oz. 7) black -"Sumatra dark roast, with Chocolate & earth notes" arrived 10 minutes after ordering. -no ice, creamer nor sugar added. Bold at lst sip. Enhanced by lack of fillers. Notes too nuanced to be tasted strongly. Enjoyed drink immensely. -sipped slowly over a few days. No lessening of boldness. Nice pick me up drink. Parking available post noon. 4.5 stars Worthy! Quality: very good. Beans roasted at Walnut Creek location. Quantify: reasonable.

Came back to give it another go since my Mom was visiting! We tried their seasonal Fall flavors. I had the iced banana bread latte with coconut milk and my mom had the sweet potato latte with coconut milk. Both were delicious! Excited to see what they will have for winter (hopefully peppermint- one of my favorites!). Also appreciated the kind gesture of the gentleman that went to the back of the bar to bring us a pup cup for my dog. When I think he overheard me wondering if they provided any.

Same coffee and some same familiar faces. I checked our their grand opening in the Livery in Danville already was already busy. It opened at 8am and there was a line out the door. It is not as large seating wise as Wc, but they have a few patio tables. Some of the same ambiance with the plants inside but very nice decor. Their tables have Coffee beans inside the actual table. The Burnt Cinnamon Latte and Americano were good. They also had lots of pastries made they made sandwiches snd smoothies. Definitely if your a fan of the Tellus brand, you have to check it out.

We had a long drive north and part off last night's pizza in the back seat. Danville was a good place to stop. There were some nice tables and chairs outside to eat. Afterward, I grabbed a pour over coffee inside. Service was pleasant and quick. Nice place.

This is the second location where there is plenty of free parking and some outside seating. They have some unique and tasty pour over coffee. I tried one of the dark roasts very good and worth the extra cost. I like independent and unique shops like Tellus highly recommended.

Danville has some really nice places that I've been visiting lately, and this is one of them. Tellus has a lovely intererior with plants lining the walls. I had a cold brew with some of their burnt cinnamon-honey syrup and a bacon croissant. She bacon crumbled and fell out of the croissant but I was easily able to scoop it off the plate and back onto the pastry. My coffee was so good and the flavor was very fall-forward I've told a few people about this spot as well!

waffles, green juice, and iced matcha latte...

first time here. place is not too big but not too small, either, with ambiance is good. it was quite packed when i went there. quality of foods and drinks for my opinion: * green juice: quite sweet for me and i can only taste the combination of spinach, celery, and a bit cucumber. the apple, pineapple, and ginger are off * iced matcha latte: also kind of sweet and seems that some of the powder not fully dissolved *waffles: it is just ok but where is the powder sugar??? * 2 egg breaky: it is ok and where is the butter for english muffin??? and suggest giving better look for the avocado and since all foods are just basic, plating is important so that boosting the appetite not asking the staffs about powder sugar and butter since lots of people were waiting and did not want to bother them but overall experience is just ok...

Chicken Empanada, Iced Vanilla Latte & Espresso

3.5/5 stars Cute, small, and curvy little coffee shop with some fun jungle-like vibes. The atmosphere definitely has potential! I had an iced latte, which was pretty decent. My husband thought the espresso tasted a bit burnt, though. We also tried the empanadas, they were okay, not bad, but nothing to rave about. Overall, it feels like this place needs a bit more refinement across the board, but with some tweaks, it could become a great spot.

First time stepping into Tellus. Apparently they also have a Walnut Creek location that my husband raves about. Decided to drop in and check them out but just a heads up they do NOT take cash. Not sure why but just a heads up for my folks who prefer to pay in cash. The prices were a little high for the sizing but the coffee was pretty good. The empanadas were my favorite though! Really flavorful and that sauce only builds onto the flavor. I dropped them down a stair for pricing and sizing which I felt didn't make a lot of sense but that's just my opinion.

Happy to see Tellus open in Danville. I always enjoyed their Walnut Creek location. This spot is smaller but they have a great menu. Plenty of parking. Barista is clearly skilled and working with solid equipment. Will be on my regular rotation of places to visit!

So so so good. Great new coffee shop at the livery! I'll come back often! Staff is so nice, kind, considerate and helpful! It was my first time so I had some questions and they were patient and explained different options. I ended up with their burnt honey cinnamon latte and the new waffle latte! So so so good! they also made my daughter a "steamer" and she loved it. Tried some of their pastries and they were also good. If you haven't tried it, I highly recommend! Great vibes and fantastic coffee!

Good coffee, super cute space, great staff. My only complaint is that the coffee is lukewarm and sometimes seems room temperature.

We sat in the back and it was really cozy. There were upholstered chairs around small tables, more like a club than a coffee shop; I loved it! The front area is brighter and sleeker than the back; more like what I'm used to in a coffee shop. The pastries in the display case looked wonderful, but since we were going to lunch, none of us ordered anything other than coffee. I had a small cappuchino and I think others got cappuchinos as well, another small and two mediums. The small was $5 and the mediums were $6. The baristas were friendly and welcoming and made a great cappuchino. Highly recommend!

First time, staff was friendly and my cappuccino was good. Not great, but good. The Place was crowded, but not terrible. However, most people were on their laptops "working". Second time, place is packed and almost everyone is on their laptop "working". Feels like a wework cafe. Staff? Seemingly bored and not thrilled about my order. I asked for an espresso with a significant amount of steamed milk and foam. What I got? A dribble barley filling the bottom of the cup (which was to go, and I ordered to stay). Finally, they don't take cash. Cash is king. Would I go back? Nope. I don't know Walnut Creek very well but assuredly, there's other places that are more suitable for me.

The place has this worn-in, artistic, slightly scruffy charm.. idk if I'm describing it right. It's like... the kind of hangout where people come for a quick catchup each other but end up drifting in and out of nice, long conversations. Like.. the morning version of going out for drinks. Instead of cocktails, it's cappuccinos and spearmint lavender tea. same energy. Nothing feels overly polished, which is exactly why it feels comfortable. The music is one of my favorite parts. Very eclectic in the best way! I'm very particular with music and have an inside joke with my wife about hijacking the Bluetooth at certain places to play some "actual music" but damn. Find myself removing my headphones to listen to what they have playing. Sometimes I feel like I'm inside an NPR segment. Lol The coffee and tea have been consistently tasty. Great espresso, tasty tea options, and no one rushes you out. just gentle background life happening around you. Another shoutout to the staff. Literally EVERYONE has been amazing and they're always in such great moods. In return, all the customers are super friendly too. Love it :)

The baristas seem poorly trained, and they don't have a solid process anymore. They've expanded their space, but that just makes the wait and confusion worse. I recently was in their new space and ordered two simple cold brews--no modifications. Where they used to pour it straight from the tap, now they treat it like a latte--and everything takes forever. If you want to linger in their aesthetic (albeit chilly) space, maybe that's fine. But if you just want takeaway coffee, be prepared to invest 20-30 minutes. It's no longer the quick, quality stop it once was.

He walked us through different beans, let us sample several options, and even made a couple of drinks for us while asking thoughtful questions about what we like and what we were looking for.
