Tekosu Cafe is located in Arcadia right by the apts next to 24 hour fitness. It's a very good location because it is also across from a medical center and lab so it is perfect for both residents, gym goers, and patients after a long visit and needs a quick pick me up or snack (they offer pastries and breakfast toasts). The decor is very minimalist so it gives a clean vibe. Service was decent and the drink was very good. I ordered an Iced Lavender Latte with Whole Milk, regular ice & sugar, and I really enjoyed it. Overall a 7/10 experience.

Solid cafe for getting some work done! Easy parking lot, which is always a win. There are approximately 10 tables inside, and when I visited, there were quite a few people working. They have WiFi, charging outlets, and a restroom, plus outdoor seating as well. Definitely seems like a good option if you're looking for a place to study or get some work done! What I tried: Gula Aren Latte -- $7.00 The cashier recommended getting this at 50% sweetness, but even at 50%, it was still a little too sweet for me. Personally, this wasn't my type of drink, but if you love brown sugar milk tea, I think you'd really enjoy it! It has that rich, sweet brown sugar flavor. Hojicha Latte -- $6.75 This was okay! Nothing that particularly stood out to me, but still decent. Overall, I'd probably come back to get some work done here and try some of their other drinks next time!

Nice spot to grab some pastries and morning coffee. It's a small little spot next to the 24 Hour Fitness in Arcadia. They open early at 7 AM, so it's a nice spot if you're an early riser. I ended up getting this chocolate donut/croissant called a Babka Pinwheel, and it was quite delicious. I also got a Cold Brew with a sweet cream top, and I loved it. A nice cold brew with a slightly sweet top was quite refreshing. The Nutella Mocha Latte was also pretty good, and I'm glad they were able to adjust the sweetness to 50%, which I thought was perfect and not too sweet. Overall, a nice place in Arcadia to get your morning started. Parking - You can park in the 24 Hour Fitness lot, or there was plenty of street parking in the morning.

(+) Gula Aren Latte Tekosu Cafe was on my list of places to visit and I wish I didn't procrastinate as long as I did. Interior is aesthetically pleasing, and the greeting I received and assistance ordering was top notch. Upon ordering, I asked what are the popular drinks and elected for the Gula Aren Latte. See below for thoughts on that. Located on First street, with street parking available. A bit difficult to see the restaurant sign from the street due to a large tree located right in front. Drinks: I loved my Gula Aren Latte. Dark brown sugar, espresso, cream top, and milk. You couldn't get simpler, but the richness and flavor profile of the coffee is what stood out. Silky and 75% sugar fit my desired profile for a coffee drink. My wife loved her strawberry match latte. Only had a sip, so can't really comment. Ambiance: Great for catching up with friends, or getting work done. Interior is clean and inviting. Staff is super friendly and make the experience that much better Again, super upset I did not visit here sooner. It will be on my weekly rotation.

Got a Jasmine Milk Tea and sadly it was really disappointing. It tasted watered down - not particularly like tea nor like milk or sugar. I asked for light ice but it still came with half a cup full of ice. It was $6 after tax and the cup is pretty small. The work area is minimalist and simple. Good for small groups of 2 or less. They sell some baked goods and food as well. There's one gender neutral restroom but you have to ask for the door code. Service is pretty fast. The air conditioning is nice and strong. I parked on the street for free.

The coffee and matcha is top tier, taste is rich and good flavor. The Gula Aren Latte and cream biscoff latte is my favorite. It's great that this cafe opens early. Indoor seating space is clean. Nice people making the drinks, great service!

Matcha Matcha Cloud

Taking us by surprise as the coffee shop seemed to be Indonesian from some posts we saw. Then we spotted they had Gula Aren Latte on the menu, which was basically Indonesian's term for Brown/Palm Sugar and indeed commonly used sweetener for iced coffee there. Being around the area, we stopped by to grab a cup. It's a pretty calm spot to chill and even work as the background noise wasn't overly loud. We got their signature Gula Aren Latte and Matcha Matcha cloud. The first iconic drink did live up our expectation with great coffee taste and strong brown sugar flavor. We also loved their house cream top as it just served the right sweetness and thickness. The Matcha did impress me being bold and umami, and going all out with matcha cream top was certainly great choice. It was pleasantful premier experience and we'd definitely call out for repeating visits!

Coconut Matcha Cloud

I ordered the coconut matcha cloud which came out to ($8.01). I had to wait around 10 minutes for my drink even though there wasn't a long line. The drink itself had a very strong coconut flavor and the matcha top was super creamy. After mixing it together, the coconut overpowered the matcha flavor for me so if you don't like coconut I would opt for another option. All in all the drink was refreshing and tasted good. I ordered this on a hot day and this was exactly what I needed to cool down. They had their AC blasting which was perfect since it was so hot out. There is limited seating so finding a spot to sit can be difficult if it's gets busy. We had to find parking on the side streets so keep that in mind but I think it's worth a visit if you're in the area. I would go back to explore some of their other drinks!

Sleek coffee shop that is located in a somewhat walkable area of Arcadia. (i'm not too familiar, but maybe it's the downtown area?) Either way, this place has friendly service a nice chill atmosphere and a good variety of delicious beverages. And they actually have food items here too. I was in the area and needed to use Wi-Fi and get a little work done and found this place. It was quite crowded and it seemed like a lot of people were studying here. I just ordered the strawberry Matcha and it was really tasty. It's in balance without being too sweet. Just a perfect refreshing beverage.

Stopped by for coffee while in the area. Found them on Yelp. Minimalist vibes, sterile aesthetics, indoor and outdoor seating. Customer service not so friendly. Parking is hard to find. The coffee drinks I ordered delicious.... Americano was aromatic and perfectly made , my cold brew with cold foam was amazing and my son's brown sugar latte was great. We all enjoyed our drinks in the car while driving to our destination. If you are looking for delicious coffee check them out ....

Croissant-cado
Emily

The cafe is right next to metro a line so it seems like a five minute walk from the station. There is street parking available but it has a two hour limit. There are some tables but they fill up quick. It's a great place to study/work and the music they played was decent. I ordered the croissant-cado sandwich and it was okay; there wasn't enough toppings so all I could taste was egg. I originally wanted to get a pastry but the selection available didn't look very appetizing. I also ordered the matcha matcha cloud and it was also okay. It had a nice green color but the flavor wasn't as strong as I would have liked but it was almost there. My friends ordered biscoff lattes and they were good! I would go again but probably get the biscoff latte and eat beforehand.

I stopped by here when I was in town with a friend and the staff was very friendly. Cute little shop to hangout and to study. Great matcha and coffee selection. I got the biscoff iced coffee and it was delightful. Definitely recommend coming here if you're from the area or visiting.

I live nearby and finally decided to pop in after hearing about this place so many times…read more The decor was minimalistic and tasteful. It's a long, narrow shop so seating may be limited if you have a larger party, but the ambience was very pleasant and nice. Menu is stacked with the names of different types of teas but offers zero description on any of them, so you have no choice but to ask the barista to describe the flavor profile of the teas you're interested in. The barista seemed a bit tired of explaining the tea flavors on the menu, and I honestly don't blame them at all. I'd be annoyed if I had to recite and explain the same large menu over and over again to countless customers throughout the day, when it could've just been written on the menu. If mgmt is reading this - you should fix the menu to make it easier for workers (and customers). This could also help move your line faster, which I've often heard complaints about. I ordered the Koan-Im milk tea, unsweetened, without toppings. I usually like my teas and coffees dark and less sweet, no toppings - especially when I'm trying a new tea shop so I can taste the quality of the tea first, and see whether they get their milk to tea ratios right. The Koan-Im oolong was described to me as a dark roasted oolong so it sounded like it would fit my preference. Unfortunately I barely tasted any tea in it at all, and the drink was mostly just milk. I'm not even sure it was fully milk, since I tasted hints of non-dairy creamer (I should've asked the barista about this before ordering but I didn't want torment her any further after she just rapped an entire menu to me, so I made a hasty choice here). Unfortunately I had to bring the drink home and add more tea to fix the milky flavor. My honest thoughts - I should've ordered a plain tea drink rather than milk tea, so I could at least taste the quality of the tea. I don't think this place makes milk teas that I would like. They're likely one of those tea shops that are popular for their sugary milk tea drinks that lean heavier on the milk and toppings instead. I'm sure their tapioca mochi is lovely, as is their popular "popcorn milk tea" but if you're a person who prefers darker tea drinks with less of the fuss and frills like I do, this place isn't for you.
