    Frame of dishwasher has live current in it after Tekniton service.

    Samsung put me in contact with Tekniton to repair the bottom sprayer on my dishwasher which was not working. The technician came out to repair and ended up making the dishwasher completely unusable. It would not start up at all, whereas before he touched it it worked with only the bottom sprayer being an issue. Technician tried to blame this on the house wiring but agreed to replace the control board. The technician also left our place with the circuit breaker still off and drain tubes leading up to the sink disconnected. Upon second visit a week later with the replacement part the technician was still not able to get the dishwasher to power on (again, the dishwasher did power on and work before technician touched it for initial repair) and again blamed house wiring. The technician was very unhelpful and had a bad attitude and left insisting it was not his fault. I looked at the dishwasher after he left and immediately was able to determine he somehow messed up the internal wiring because THE FRAME OF THE DISHWASHER HAS LIVE CURRENT IN IT! See attached picture. He somehow managed to short the inside of the dishwasher to make it not only unusable but a life threatening hazard. Add a puddle of water and someone in my family could have died! I have tried to contact the company, and have sent them the video but they have not responded. So after Tekniton's "service" I now have a dishwasher that does not work and could kill someone. Good job Tekniton!

    What they are trying to charge me without even coming to assess the issue let alone taking any responsibility for their 4 failed attempts.

    One of the worst experiences I've ever had. My fiance and I have a $3k Samsung smart refrigerator that came with our house. It had worked fine until all of the sudden the ice machine stopped producing ice. We contacted Samsung to report the problem and they sent a ticket to their subcontractor Tekniton. The technician that came to our house to fix the problem was actually quite nice and tried to fix the problem. Unfortunately he was not able to do so because he stated that "he had been given the wrong part." The same technician came back to the house a total of 4 times, causing us to change our busy work schedules mind you, only to repeat the same excuse and not get the job done. On the 5th attempt they finally fixed the ice machine with a different technician. Now during these 5 visits each time the technicians kept the doors open to the fridge during the entire time they tried to fix the ice machine. Shortly after they finally fixed the ice machine, our refrigerator stopped working. The temperature jumped from a usual 37° to 50° and was no longer keeping things cool. This caused all of our food to spoil and actually caused me to be sick from eating spoiled food I didn't realize had gone bad due to the refrigerator no longer working. I immediately called Samsung and explained what had happened and that at this point I needed to speak to a manager. Note: I've still yet to speak to a manager and we are now on day 4 as I'm writing this. The representative from Samsung tried to refer me back to the same company "Tekniton" even after I explained to them how poorly they had attempted to do their job. When I first called Samsung and they made a new ticket I explained to them that Tekniton had done a terrible job and that perhaps they could send someone else but I was told that unfortunately they were the only company they use in my area (San Francisco). Without having any options reluctantly agreed to have them come back and fix the problem. I was then told that they would get back to me that day or the next morning while I waited for the Samsung manager. I never heard from Tekniton and when I tried to call I got a message saying their box was full and I would need to try back later. I called the next day and still no answer, meanwhile they are supposed to contact me and I still have no fridge. I then call Samsung to explain the issues and see if there is finally a manager I could speak to. originally when they had made the ticket, I tried to call them directly and the woman who answered the phone was very rude and very unhelpful. I gave the Samsung representative the same information noting that they were rude. He still tried to make the call only to be confronted by the same rude unhelpful customer service representative who simply refused any responsibility and Would not even send out a technician unless we paid beforehand. I am now on day 4 without a fridge and am still waiting to hear back from Samsung upper management which I've been "reassured" will rectify the problem. I have always been a fan of Samsung and have purchased many of their products but this is very disheartening. This whole situation is ridiculous and blasphemous. Samsung should never do business with Tekniton if they'd like to keep their good name. As far as Tekniton as company is concerned... RUN!!!! Don't ever give them your business they clearly do not care about customers, good business practices and are incredibly rude.

    Our last interaction was Sept 2020. I followed up in Nov 2020 and again in Jan 2021. Then Leslie Ramirez blocked my emaills.

    Literal scam artists. One of their technicians replaced the wrong part and charged us close to $450 which didn't even fix the issue. Another tech came and told us the part didn't even need to be replaced. Tekniton promised a refund (minus $100 for the service call) for the part we were forced to pay for, but we never got it. I followed up with Leslie Ramirez at Tekniton who kept saying she forwarded it to accounting, and later switched to needing confirmation from the owner John Shtir. After 9 months of following up every few months, Leslie Ramirez again told me to contact the the owner instead and then blocked my email address. John, the alleged owner, does not respond to emails. When I call the main line, no one ever answers and it always goes to voicemail. Avoid this place at all costs.

    Terrible response time. Doesn't commit to the date they scheduled for you even if it is an inconvenient time for the customer.

Knowing how insanely expensive the Apple Store tends to be as well their ridiculous wait times to get an appointment, I needed to act fast for a very quick fix. Cellular City Phone Repair was referred to me by my father who has always had great experiences with the owner, James. Now having conducted business with him, what I can say is that James is a gentleman who provides very fair prices, great service, and super helpful tips. I called in the schedule an appointment early in the morning and he encouraged me to come in, so he could inspect my phone to get a better understanding of what my problems were. He saw me immediately, and gave me a turnaround time of about four hours. Given this wasn't scheduled in advance, and when I returned to the store he was just finishing up, I couldn't have been more pleased to have my phone functioning normal again. After receiving payment, he mentioned that I should call back if any issues occurred after the service. From his friendly and respectful demeanor, as well as great reputation, not just with my father, but also from multiple comments listed on Yelp and other review platforms, I believe his word to be true and well definitely return if I ever need any other service for my smart phone. I highly recommend Cellular City Phone Repair and encourage anyone in San Leandro or in the accompanying East Bay to go here if/when in need of a phone repair. I rate this business a well deserved 5/5.
