I called Samsung on a Thursday for a service ticket number and supposedly I was going to get a callback from Tekniton within 24-48 hours. I give them the benefit of the doubt and waited since it was Memorial Day but Wednesday comes around and still no call. I followed up with Samsung directly and they transferred me over to Tekniton which they offered an appointment the following day between 1-4pm. The next day, I get a call from the technician that he was 10 minutes away at 11:00. I informed him my appointment isn't until later but I can make it back in 20. He told me he will work on another job and wanted me to wait for him. I just thought that was ridiculous considering he's 2 hours early and I was willing to come back at such a short notice. The following day, a rep calls and asks how service went and I explained what happened. It just doesn't seem like they care about your business and most importantly, your time. I'm trying a different service provider and so far it seems better. read more

I was quite apprehensive awaiting the repair person, the repair was not for my refrigerator but for my tenants refrigerator, I did not know what to expect. But the minute I opened the door and saw John's smiling face I had a feeling all would go well, I was right! He assessed the problem, explained the cause and the effect and after giving me the cost he began the repair. He was clean in apearrance and work ethic. Both my tenant and I were pleasantly surprised at how quick and efficiently he worked. All in all a great experience. Thank you Teknitron, thank you John C.! read more

Ahhh, still another poor review. Customer Service continues to go down hill everywhere. Appears that companies only need to throw out "the COVID AFFECT" to make excuses for their flagrant disregard for the consumer. Call Customer Service, wait ten minutes, get a recording, " the person at extension 108, is not available".....beeeeep....leave a message, no call back, no tech arrives, where do we go from here? . So sad that, given we all have a life, and a schedule, that SAMSUNG basically says: FUCK YOU This will eventually wear some people into submission and eventually give up their repair request. Nice try. read more

We have a problemed Samsung Dryer which is under warranty. Tekniton is the service agency for Samsung in our area. We scheduled the first appointment with Tekniton to repair our Samsung dryer which was not producing enough heat to dry the clothes. It was not repaired. A second appointment was made and the Tekniton technician came to repair the dryer. The dryer was still not repaired. He said that it may be a mother board problem or the dryer vent was clogged. We had a professional clean all vent outlets. This had no effect on the dryer not producing enough heat to dry the clothes. A third attempt is now under way with a Samsung service and Samsung has authorized service but Tekniton has yet to respond to set up an appointment to repair the dryer. Multiple attempts to speak to a Tekniton representative to schedule an appointment to repair the heating problem has been impossible. Calls are made where you wait for ten minutes and then they drop the call. I have not been able to speak to anyone at Tekniton because they now block my phone number. -Previously, a scheduled appointment with them was arbitrarily cancelled. Trying to make contact with them to reschedule has been impossible. It appears that Samsung does not respond to problems with their products. Their procedure appears designed to wear you down until you give up. Very dishonest people in my experience. read more

DO NOT USE . I had an appointment canceled at the last minute, a tech who didn't know what he was doing and the manager was RUDE!!! The manager actually told me to call the manufacturer and tell them that I wanted a new appliance instead of making sure that they've done everything to fix it. Poor customer service. POOR SERVICE !!!! read more

Well I guess a majority of the negative reviews are accurate. Had an appointment today, no one called/showed up. Tried calling them and it goes straight to voicemail. Of course no one calls you back. Oh and I had an appointment last week that they cancelled short notice. If this is who Samsung is contracting to do repairs, I will no longer purchase Samsung products. I plan on contacting Costco where I purchased from to see if they can help. read more

Be ware!!! We were given an appointment with Tekniton under Lowe's warranty to repair our Samsung washer. Some Tekniton technician called a day before to cancel the appointment because they needed to wait for insurance approval...load of bull... I verified with the warranty, once you claim and they give you an appointment it is all green light. I DO NOT LIKE BEEING LIED TO! Just man up and tell me next time you have a bad day and don't want to repair stuff. read more

Samsung got it wrong by partnering with this business. It's been three weeks and 2 no show appointments. Terrible customer service and apparently no connection between the people you are talking to on the phone and the skilled technicians. So much wasted time. Their folks simply never showed up. I can not recommend this company and frankly any Samsung products either based on their ability to stand behind their own products. read more

Horrible to deal with. Made an appointment for today for between 1 pm and 5 pm. Received a text message at 1:30 saying they were on their way. at 3:30 no word. Called into the office and was told he was in the next city and would be here in 30 minutes. It's now 4:50 and he has not showed up. And no one in the office know's where the technician is, let alone how to get a hold of him. read more

My samsung tv had a black flickering backlight with no picture but still had sound. It was only 9 months old and still covered under warranty. I submitted a repair request on the Samsung website. A tech called me the next day to confirm details and to reschedule the time slot at about a week out. Two friendly techs arrived within the time window with parts and replaced the panel. Overall the repair job took less than 20 minutes. Tv works great now. Thanks! read more

I would actually give this company 1-star as there were non-stop problems dealing with Teknition. The call center was terrible and didn't seem to understand how flaky their technicians are. Not only would you deal with last minute cancellations, you deal with most technicians being incompetent. I had to deal multiple technicians in which some were no shows. The only one reason why I'm giving this business 5 stars is because of my most recent technician David V. He is top notch and is the only true silver lining to this otherwise terrible company. David was very knowledgeable and knew how to troubleshoot issues with my dishwasher. Previous techs who could not completely fix the issues had to rely on YouTube videos and calling other people up on the phone for help. David didn't do such things and should be training these other techs on how to do their jobs properly. He was extremely professional and was the ONLY good thing about Teknition. If this company wants to really succeed in the future, have David enable other workers to learn from him. read more

I believe the product is as good as you can get service for it when you need it. If nothing ever happens, you never know what the out of warranty service will be like. We have a 85% Samsung appliance home. Knock on wood, nothing has ever gone wrong until now. Luckily, our washer dryer was new and fall under warranty. Samsung definitely make you go through a lot of hoops to get a warranty repair person out. Your best bet is to respond to Samsung by saying... I tried that, it still doesn't work. This way, they will refer you to a warranty repair company contracted with them. In my case Tekniton was the the contracted repair company. Tekniton sent out Stefan and if you own a Samsung appliance, he's your go to repair guy for all Samsung appliances. He fixed my problem in 30 minutes and when putting them back in place, he rebalanced both washer and dryer again. They work like a charm... he said if not, give him a call back and he will personally make sure it's taken care of until it's right. Pleasant and really knows his Samsung products. I asked him about a small issue I had with the fridge and he told what was wrong, no charge for advice. If you own any Samsung appliances, hopefully you get Stefan. read more

Today Stefan from Tekniton came to fix the ice maker of my Samsung french door refrigerator with family hub. This is the second time around. The first one was back two months ago which someone else did. Stefan had remembered that he had come to replace the tablet on the family hub in 2018. He was very professional, knowledgeable and fast with his work. I think if there was another issue with any of my Samsung products I definitely would trust Stefan to fix it. He is excellent and deserves this review! read more

I would give a zero if I could. samsung refrigerator stop making ice. Samsung did virtual troubleshoot and said it needs to send technician. Refrigerator is out of warranty. Tekniton technician came, took the ice tray out and put it back. No trouble shooting at all. Ask me to call Samsung and tell them repair cost should be covered by lawsuit. charged me 100. i called Samsung they said this model is not covered. Call Tekniton for repair estimate. they sent invoice listing every component replacement , ~1,000 including mother board. Call them and asked which parts are malfunctioning and need. Manager said every component listed based on experience sooner or later will be a problem. No troubleshooting at all. i complained then why send a technician and charge 100 if they will just list every component without troubleshooting. manager said he would refund me the 100. Still waiting after 2 weeks. Stay away from them. read more

These guys were great! I had a major issue with the Samsung TV I purchased and the techs that came out were friendly and professional. They weren't able to fix it the first time because of certain missing parts, but they told me they'd fix it for sure the next time. It took some time to get the parts, which was a bit frustrating, but once they came in, they came back and (as promised), promptly fixed my tv. They also replaced the cracked frame of my TV, which they took noticed of the first time (they didn't do this, it was a pre-existing condition). NICE! read more

I was sent to this company for a problem with my dryer by Samsung. The dryer is only a few months old and stopped spinning. I was really nervous based on the reviews, but had no choice. I called to confirm the appointment the day before. Someone answered right away and confirmed my time. Kyle called me within the scheduled time frame and said he'd be at the house in 30 minutes, still within the time frame. He showed up about 20 minutes later, spent 15 minutes here. He fixed the problem and he was polite. He saw we had a Samsung fridge, asked if we had any trouble and if knew how to replace the filter for the water, which we do. In opinion it was a good experience. I guess it could depend on the service rep that is sent to your house. read more

This team is wonderful and professional! The technician named Adrian was the best. The whole process was smooth and pleasant. We recently bought a new microwave and it wasn't heating. He had all the tools and knowledge to fix our microwave and I am so relieved. Another headache solved! Horrible business model. I believe they have a good network for their specialty in the area but have also contracted with SAMSUNG to follow up with warranty work. So they don't really have to account for the poor service they provide. They would not provide any information on my ticket. The manager would not return my call. It took me complaining online multiple times to SAMSUNG social media to get noticed. TEKNITON did not come out for 3 weeks. I was without a refrigerator and all food was spoiled. Shame on you! The actual worker who came out was very professional took care of the issue in 15 minutes. read more

I had a really positive experience. I made the service appt online on Sunday with Samsung and received a call from Tekniton on Monday. I'm so grateful to have my fridge back! :-) read more

I was referred to tekniton by Samsung customer service as they are a Samsung service technicians. First off booking an appt. was difficult. I was on hold with the office staff for almost 10 minutes (not exaggerating). Then finally spoke with a person who off the bat asked for my name and number... half way through the call. She was in the process of booking my appt. when she hung up on me instead of putting me on hold (I'm assuming by accident. . ) She made no attempt to call me back so I literally had to start the process over again, wait a long time before she happened to be the one to answer again.. . No apology, absolutely no intelligence to call someone back you are in the middle of booking an appt with?! ... I let it slide politely. Now I was given a confirmation number and my appt date. I was told the technician will contact me before he arrives... the guy was a no call -and no show. Of course can't get ahold of anyone in the office.. now it says the voicemail is full.. If you value your time take your business elsewhere. Oh and I don't recommend Samsung appliances either- this is the type of business they refer you to after two different Samsung appliances stoped working at only 1.5 years of use from being bought new. . . read more

We just had engineer Stefan B. come and take care of our washer. Not having the washer working with 2 small kids is not fun. Amazing customer service! I called in to Samsung for a broken washing machine, who referred me to Tekniton. They sent their first tech (Sam H.) out to perform an inspection on - he looked at it for 5 minuets and diagnosed a bad door diaphragm. A week later, the second tech (Johnny C.) arrived, took the machine apart, and immediately noticed that the drum was out of round and would need to be replaced - which effectively totaled the machine. He was very clear that the first technician should have noticed this, was very apologetic, and did not bill me for his time. He also suggested I call back and attempt to get a refund for the inspection fee, since it was performed incorrectly. When I did try to call in and get that inspection fee refunded, I was told by the operator that "A service call was performed, we cannot issue refunds," despite the fact that the work was done *incorrectly*. When she transferred me to her supervisor, her supervisor did not pick up the phone over multiple callbacks. When I called again and spoke to the same operator, I was told that there are no other numbers I can call, no other supervisors, and no one empowered to refund me that fee. I'm now out $100 and have been without a washer for a month. read more

I don't understand why Samsung contracts with this company. Our Samsung stopped cooling so we called Samsung CS. Samsung sent this company to our house to repair it. They have been here for 4 times so far and changed us to change a part of my fridge every time. Every time when I asked if my fridge was repaired, they answered 'yes' very confident and got our money and then vanished. And a few hours after they left we would find out the fridge was not cooling at all. The last time they came over, they changed the inverter and was going to charge me another $300. I asked them if my fridge was really fixed and they said yes. So I asked,' then why did you change the defrosting part last time if it was the problem of inverter?' They said,' because the defrost part gave us an error code, and the inverter too.' So I believed him. But after I got my purse and returned to the fridge I found out the fridge was still not cooling. So I questioned the technician. They did another check and took the inverter off and told me' there was no problem with the inverter'. I was like what the...then how do I know if all the parts they changed before were really broken? We finally lost patience with them so we called them and asked for refund since our fridge wasn't fixed. It was funny that the technician did not care when we said we would complain with Samsung. Once a technician said,' yeah do whatever you want to, we are not going to refund your money'. Is this how they value their customers? Now our fridge has a lot of new parts changed but still not working. We will do whatever we can do get our refund back to defend our rights as a customer! Helper reviewers, please contact me if you had similar experience. We will complain to the State Attorneys Office and you could get your refund back as well! read more

HORRIBLE First "We will be there between 10 & 12" then at 11 "Oh, it was 1-4" then at 3:00 "You can call the technician yourself because we are too lazy here in the office" then from the tech "it's 3:20 and I have two more stops (40 miles apart) and I will come afterwards". Yeah right. Am I supposed to serve the tech dinner too? Guess my time waiting today and plans this evening mean sheot to Tekniton. UPDATE:5pm. No word from tech. Called HQ. "It's now between you and the tech" said the feckless service coordinator. Called tech with no answer. I so freaking happy right now!!! Tomorrow the Samsucks washer and dryer go back to Sears. I will update the post if the tech actually exists and shows up. Hopefully I won't have to lend him tools and watch YouTube repair videos with him. I bet the only thing worse than waiting for the Tekniton company is probably working for them. Since Tekniton is Samsung's only service vendor...you have to use them. I am so sorry I bought Samsung even though I like their products. The 3rd party service side $ucks if you ever need to use it. read more

0 star if I could give them a zero. Watch out for this fraud company. They knew the appliance model number before coming for a diagnosis. They knew the manufacturer no longer manufactures the model, however, still made the trip to do the diagnosis just to charge a diagnosis fee and proceeded to conclude they could not service the appliance due to manufacturer no longer making the model. Absolute waste of customer time. read more

Official Samsung repair shop. Recommended by Samsung. Called on a Sunday, couldn't leave message as voice mail box was full. We had to unplug it. THEN I had to call in 5 times and stay on hold for hours until I could get hold of a service rep to schedule another repair visit. AND THEN THEY NEVER SHOWED! Current status? Unable to get hold of any service rep to get someone to actually repair our dishwasher -- I've called in over a dozen times and nobody has ever picked up, just always on hold. I almost never give reviews, but this time it's a must. If I could give a 0 (or even a negative), I would. This is the most inept company I have ever dealt with - from schedulers to technicians. I am now on my 4th scheduling because they can't seem to even get that right. The first appointment was rescheduled because the parts were not in. I asked how did they know which parts were needed. They said they ordered parts based on the callers description of the problem. When the technician finally comes out, he told me that he didn't bring the right parts. Once he begins to troubleshoot, he said my washing machine didn't sound good (as if I didn't know that before calling!). He just stands there until I finally asked what was he going to do about it. Eventually he tells me it would be expensive to repair and starts to pack up. I then asked for at least an estimate. He said he would let the office know and they would call me with a cost to repair. Fast forward, I complained to Samsung and we finally agreed on the warranty repair, which will require two technicians because they have to lift the drum. Now Tekniton is scheduling yet again (4th schedule) because on each of the previous two schedulings, they wait until 2-3 hours into my repair window (yes! I had to stay home from work), to tell me they didn't realize it would take two technicians and they only had one available, so therefore would need to reschedule - wait - yep 10-12 days later each time. Samsung should be ashamed for even utilizing this company to represent them! read more
