He showed me options and I went for halo letters.. Second time around I knew exactly what I wanted, came with a small pic on my phone of a hanger, yes, a clothing hanger. This company is very unprofessional and charges fees for every interaction with them. Below is my experience and I highly recommend you look elsewhere, if you are a small business who can't afford to be ripped off.   I am a small business that is owned and operated by myself and started from my kitchen nook. My business grew and I was able to move my business to a storefront last year. I also was pregnant with my second child so had to cut back on hours but was able to save some money to have a sign made. I had reached out to 2 other companies prior to walking into On Time Signs in Hayward which was located on Jackson street at the time. The employee that I talked to and coordinated having a tech come and look at the building, pricing, etc., was Martin. He agreed to include installation, graphic design and production for $900. The sign was approximately 3ft by 8ft and very simple in graphic design with just 4 services listed, website and phone number with logo.   With pregnancy complications, maternity leave and COVID-19 occurring back to back, I still was able to hold on to my savings and kept in touch with Martin to show that I still wanted the sign. He responded up until January and then nothing. After so much time of no reply, I finally reached out to the technician who came to inspect the building for sign placement, etc. I received a response on April 13th from Christiane who said that Martin was no longer with the company and from there we corresponded back and forth. I sent a sign mock-up from one of the previous companies which already had the layout, just needed to change one service and the logo. He replied today and stated that "although the amount is extremely low, we have agreed to honor that price; however, any additional modifications, etc. will be considered an additional charge. Please let us know if you agree".   I sent an email asking to clarify what is considered "additional", since they had never even shown me any designs to start with. The layout was already given to them from the previous company. I then decided to call and spoke with Christiane. I simply asked if he could clarify what is considered "additional" because he did not mention that in any prior emails when I gave the design layout and provided everything. He stated that in order to copy the graphic design and layout that was already created for them, it might take an additional hour or 2 for the graphic team. I asked why he would agree to honor what Martin quoted and included, but now change and that due to COVID-19, I had no additional or disposable income.   He then handed the phone to a man named Jorge who stated that Martin was no longer with the company for this reason and that he was making deals on the side for his own pockets, etc. I was shocked that he shared that information because it was not very professional to discuss matters concerning employees both current and previous. I simply asked if they knew that and that wasn't my fault, why can't they honor everything in the quote? I went on to share my current situation and that I had not had a good experience thus far with any signage company Jorge began to speak over me and told me "you need to lower your voice and calm down right now". I asked if it was customary to yell at clients while they are speaking, then he hung up on me.   Very rude, unprofessional, liars, and rip-offs! Stay away!

    When I decided to open a business, I knew that I did not want to design my own website. I have seen…read morefriends and colleagues waste their time learning how to build a website rather than focus on systems or other important tasks that can't be delegated. After a referral from a friend who had a great experience, I reached out to D-Kode and could not have been happier. The process was quite smooth and many relevant questions were addressed in their design questionnaire. They were able to set up all the features I was looking for including an Instagram reel and online booking for my clients. Jennifer made a site that I am proud to share with my friends, family and clients. Daniel was extremely responsive, especially when I needed last minute help before the launch.     Natalya is the most professional design consultant I've worked with. I've hired her over the years…read morefor probably 5 different clients. She works fast, is very upfront about expectations and timelines, and is always amazing at taking on revisions without grumbling or moaning. There was a problem with the most recent time I hired her. Some people in the company were irritated that the internal front-end team couldn't make our landing pages look half as good as the ones that Natalya produced. :) I have little doubt that I'll continue to email or call on Natalya more times over the years.

    A Breath of Fresh Air…read more.. Finally a real web designer has been found. I have nothing but great things to say about Sierra Image Works and Natalya Brandt. I have been on the hunt for almost a year now for a company to build me a straight forward easy to use website. Before I found Natalya my company had worked with a few other designers and it always seemed like we were coming up with the look and feel of the site, we were trying to trouble shoot problems, which was very frustrating because we were paying them to do these things. Finally we found Natalya and she immediately took a hold of the situation and helped bring the project to the finish. There were problems that we ran into during the design phase, as all projects have, but Natalya always found a solution before we had a chance to offer our opinions. We liked Natalya so much we immediately gave her a second contract and once again she delivered flawlessly. I recommend Natalya and Sierra Image Works to all of my business associates and friends. Their plans and pricing are as competitive as anybody, but her problem solving skills are priceless. Thanks again Natalya.
