Came here for pickup before the big blizzard of this week hit the area. We ordered a half marinara/ half artichoke, pesto and basil and it was very solid. Pizza was flavorful, fresh ingredients, and a crust that was respectable and had the right amount of crunch. Ordering and pickup was easy enough and staff were friendly. Recommend if you are nearby.

I'm a firm believer in the universe never failing me so, me landing at Teglia was meant to be bc I went to a different pizza joint but they were closed and Teglia was literally down the street. Super small shop but I guess that's why they call in a pizza bar bc there are only like 2-3 stools near the window with a thin wooden bar to post up and eat your slice. Was greeted the minute I walked in and the gentleman at the counter answered all my questions regarding what was what as far as the pizzas went bc there weren't any labels and nothing was "obvious". Landed on the chicken parm slice (which says a lot bc I am not a fan of chicken on pizza but this looked really good) and a drunken nonna slice both of which I asked to be heated up so I could take them to go and enjoy at home. Within a matter of minutes I secured the pizza bag and that drive home was so tempting bc the smell of the slices was like heaven and I wanted to pull over to eat them lol but I didn't. I decided to have 1/2 of each slice and save the rest for later ... when I tell you both slices were BOMB ... I mean BOMB BOMB OMG BOMB!!!! Not one single recommendation or complaint ... and as I mentioned earlier I'm typically not a fan of chicken on pizza ... Teglia changed that because I'd try any slice they have with chicken on it going forward bc the chicken farm slice was AMAZING! Can't wait to either grab slices here again or to order pies when I have company .. either way I'll be back!

We wanted to love this place but Roman style it is not. We ordered a pizza to go and the dough had not fully proofed and was raw throughout. Or maybe it was due to many toppings on top when cooked the dough did not cook!! Less is more...good pizza doesn't need so much stuff .

Different kinds of pizzas. We just shared all of them.

I was looking for a pizza shop that I hadn't been too. Something that offered variety. & I found it! This small pizza shop , although small. It's a little hidden gem (in my opinion). Something that stood out to me , is that all of their slices and pizzas are Sicilian style. Which I LOVED! The guy who greeted us, which I assumed is the owner , was super sweet and showed us all of the options they had available. He was friendly and welcoming. The crust was perfect. Not too doughy and chewy.. it was soft with the perfect flakiness to it. It was able to hold the toppings and sauce. I absolutely loved it lol They offered a lot of variety which is why I opted to take a few and me and my hubby just shared. Our favorite was the spinach artichoke. Super flavorful and just perfect in every bite! They have veggie options and also stuff for meat lovers or those who like a little bit of both worlds. I'll be coming here again for sure! *Things to know.. -Parking sucks (it's in the Montclair area so that should tell you enough lol ) -Small place. Only a few bar stools to sit and eat. So not good for big groups -Lots of varieties -Good for vegetarians -Good Prices - Make sure you have a few different kinds like we did lol

A cute spot for a nice slice of to go pizza. The place is small and cozy but does have a few seats If you like to sit down. It's a nice laid back spot with quick service , the pizza is thick and very tasty they have different flavors I had pepperoni and cheese and really liked it !

A great, crispy slice. Either your first thought is "only squares?" or "I'd like to see if this pizza rating is real". But whatever your reason is for stepping into the shop is, be sure to grab a slice. The pizza has a nice crisp bottom layer, followed by a soft cheesy middle layer and topped with some delicious selections like truffle with mushrooms, pepperoni cups and roasted garlic. Everything on each slice works wonderfully together. Seating is tight as there is only a few located against the wall, if eating in is your preference. The staff are very chill and can help with choosing a slice or two based on what you are in the mood for. You won't regret giving one of their slices a try.

Years ago this location used to be Mancini's pizza and I never thought I would say this, but I'm glad Teglia replaced them. This may be my favorite pizza in NJ. We did an order pickup and the pizza was ready when we got there. Staff are friendly! They focus on being a grab and go place. But they also a small counter along the walls of the place that you can eat if you want. We got the Caio e Pepe lasagna and the angry Nonna pie. The Caio e Pepe lasagna wasn't soggy, which was surprising considering how hard it is to get lasagna right. They gave it to us in an aluminum tin which was very convenient for heating it up. The angry Nonna was a Spicy pizza with Vodka sauce, mozzarella and provolone blend, Sausage, hot sopressata, Hot cherry and calabrian pepper relish, and fresh Basil. The pizza had a good crisp on the crust but is still pillowy soft. There's a ton of breading underneath the toppings which is how I like my pizza!

This place is THE SPOT. The owner is always in the front working his pants off. He not only knows what he's doing, he loves it and it's clear. He is excited to tell you about the slices and they sound like combinations he made because he genuinely wanted to eat them. And they're GOOD good. Bubbly sourdough base gives you that crispy light airy magic with criiiiispy crispy crust okay like I'm talking nice cheesy cheesy edges like you get on a good lasagna. He is a pizza wizard. Now they also have a cannoli bar. This gentleman offered me a cannoli filling sample on a spoon like it was ice cream and I just felt like yes, this is a place for me. I had the Italian cheesecake cannoli which has homemade Italian cheesecake smashed into homemade whipped ricotta cannoli filling with those hints of citrus and a beautiful tiny preserved strawberry on each end. It was magical. I wish I had one right now as I write this. Listen, you don't find a lot of "legit" spots like this in places like Montclair-- this is an owner-run, real deal spot. It's as Jersey and home-grown as it gets. Do it because it's delicious, and do it for the principle.

Pizza was amazing. Thick, fluffy crust and so many different pie options. They just started a cannoli bar which was also delicious. Owner is super friendly and helpful.

Moments later, we were in the capable and charismatic hands of Maya, our server. She brought not just efficiency, but real joy to the table: quick wit, a warm and friendly vibe, and an infectious passion for the food that made every recommendation feel personal and sincere. Hospitality like hers elevates a meal from good to memorable. We began with the Caesar salad, and it was exactly what a Caesar should be: crisp, balanced, and perfectly executed, with that ideal punch of garlic, anchovy, and Parmesan. No missteps here this was textbook excellence. Next came the meatballs, and they were glorious enormous, tender orbs that instantly transported me back to Sunday dinners at my grandmother's table. Generous in size and soulful in flavor, they were everything you want in a classic Italian meatball. The accompanying tomato sauce was nothing short of velvety luxury: smooth, rich, deeply savory, and so delicious I found myself sneaking extra spoonfuls just to savor it. On a whim, I requested a side of the short rib ragu, and it proved to be one of the standout moments of the night. Braised to fall apart tenderness in what I can only describe as an osso buco style preparation, it mirrored the kind of slow cooked, soul warming short ribs I make at home only better. The depth of flavor was top notch, luxurious without being heavy. For the main event, I went with the chicken Parmesan, and let me tell you; it was the bomb-diggity of chicken parms. Massive in portion (honestly, almost comically large), it arrived golden and crisp on the outside, juicy within, blanketed in that same magnificent tomato sauce and a generous snowfall of melted cheese. Every bite was pure comfort and satisfaction. Congratulations to the kitchen this is how chicken Parm should be done. A lovely surprise came when the chef himself stopped by the table to say hello. That personal touch, combined with the restaurant's charming ambiance lush hanging vines draping overhead like a cozy Italian garden created a wonderfully inviting and relaxed vibe that made the whole experience feel special. I left with generous leftovers, already plotting to pair the short rib ragu with fresh pappardelle pasta at home. From the warm welcome to the passionate service and soul satisfying plates, this was a thoroughly wonderful evening. If you're craving authentic Italian American comfort food served with heart, this place delivers in spades. Highly recommended.

Went here for a birthday dinner and the ambiance was very nice and festive…read more For appetizers, we got the goat cheese with nuts and prosciutto, the burrata, and the calamari. The calamari was by far the best. It was crispy and thick and seasoned well and the sauces were delicious. There were some fried onions in it that were flavorful too. The goat cheese was okay, it felt like the flavors did not all go together. The burrata was very fresh and the starter bread is great too. For dinner we got the pork shank which I think was a special, the mushroom ravioli, the eggplant pasta with red sauce and the branzino special with veggies and a sauce. The mushroom ravioli tasted a little like mush to me and I was not a fan of the mushroom flavor. The eggplant pasta was delicious and it came with burrata that melted nicely into the pasta. The pork shank was tender and delicious. The branzino was the star for sure, it was flavorful and delicate and paired well with the sauce and the veggies. For dessert we got the pistachio tartufo and the tiramisu. I didn't think the tiramisu was very special but it wasn't bad. The tartufo was okay. It tasted like a pistachio chocolate ball inside of pistachio ice cream. It was also incredibly small for the price. Our waiter was fantastic!!!
