Brilliant first experience at Boschetto and will be back. Upon arrival, was greeted by Ryan - who i believe was the manager or owner. He graciously explained the format of how orders are taken and detailed the menu. The was a little hiccup in our food being delivered and he came to the table to apologize which meant a lot to us as we were on a scheduled. The food was good and tasted fresh. We had a pasta and pizza (sorry no photos) and neither disappointed. We arrived around 6pm on a Thursday and it wasn't too crowded but it stared to fill up closer to 7pm. Will def be back! read more

Always driven by this place - even idled in front of this place for several minutes while stopped at the train crossing - and I'm only just now visiting. Service is counter service to order with runners and bussers bringing plates out to and clearing your table. BYOB with the liquor store down a block just in case you forget - they bring you an ice bucket for your wine if needed. After ordering, you seat yourself at one of the tables inside or luck out with lovely early autumn weather on the patio. They have plenty of specials to choose from and a healthy selection of pizzas, platters, shared plates, and pastas. My only complaint was the awkward waiting to order and be sat at a table if you're waiting for 2/6 folks in your party but there are plenty of open tables both inside and out. We ordered a couple of pasta dishes, salads, zucchini chips with a tangy lemony ricotta dip, and panzerotti for dessert (basically a zeppole stuffed with Nutella and Banana- a little too heavy- would just order gelato next time) The space is lovely- high ceilings, beautiful tiles. There is a parking area to the right of the restaurant (pay for parking- but free parking on Sundays). There is plenty of outdoor seating in the front patio. (Not tables on a sidewalk- but an actual patio- very pretty) Food is very fresh and delicious. The menu also offers pizza and gelato and will definitely try that next time... Visited again - 04/18/2026 with wife and SIL. This was the first time for my SIL who loved everything she had. (The Frito Misto, Polenta Limone and the Funghi (roasted mushrooms). We've been trying to get her to come here with us and she's glad she finally did. My wife and I shared the Arugula salad, the Frito Misto... but I went with my 'normal'... Amatriciana (bucatini, guanciale & chili). Love this dish. My wife opted for the Risotto Cioppino, which she also loved. Only menu is on the wall above the counter. It was recited but so fast it couldn't be followed. Finally located a crisp crust thin NY pizza, 12 inches, $24, on the hard to read over the counter menu overloaded with choices.. Expensive for a small pizza. Had to pay up front and tip before pizza delivered. Crust was not crisp, pizza was poor at best. "Music" was too loud with booming base as in a dance club - not conducive to conversation or eating. We were in the area and were looking for a good casual place to eat and stumbled upon Boschetto. This super modern and clean Italian restaurant located on Grove street offers a counter service. When you enter you place your order, take a number and pick where you'd like to sit. They do offer high chairs and have a kids pasta menu (you just have to ask). We ordered the arugula salad, zucchini chips, calamari platter, a pasta and pizza to try. The arugula salad was great, it was zesty and fresh. The zucchini chips (zucchine frite) was my absolute favorite of the meal. The chips were so delicious and I hate zucchini. The sauce resembles a hummus but it was zesty and sour. The calamari platter had calamari, shrimp, and zucchini with a marinera sauce. I think it just needed to be a little saltier and it would have been perfect because the crispiness was there. The amatriciana pasta was also good, the server recommended it. It was a little spicy and very flavorful. We tried the summer special pizza, I forget the name but it has peach and prosciutto topped with arugula and hot honey. It was very refreshing, a bit of sweetness and spice. They make the bread in house and it was perfectly made. No complaints at all. There is a free parking lot right next to the restaurant. The bathroom is spotless too! The idea of Fine Fast Casual appealed to owners Ryan Held, 44, and Robert Spina, 46, when they opened Boschetto back in August of 2023. After placing your order at the front counter, you'll be given a number that you'll place on your table. In a few minutes, you'll be visited by their service staff with your order. The staff was exemplary, always smiling, and quickly accommodated every request we had. I ordered a "Mexican Coke" and it was VERY GOOD! It is sweetened with cane sugar instead of the high-fructose corn syrup. I even let a bee have a taste and he loved it. We started with the Arugula & Cheese Salad. This was large enough to share, the mixture of ingredients were perfect, and is highly recommended. We shared two Boschetto pies (tomato, mozzarella, and basil). This pie was EXCEPTIONAL. Cute spot with great menu options including freshly made pasta! I enjoyed my bucatini, super flavorful and the smoky guanciale was the perfect complement. I had the most a delightful evening with family and friends here. The service was chefs kiss! The staff anticipated our needs and were always ready to serve. Not many eateries today exhibit exceptional service to this degree. The cherry on top was my meal. The Mussels fra diavolo were amazing. They melted in my mouth. The Chicken Milanese was absolutely delicious! It's pork on the menu but they allow you to switch for chicken. You will not be disappointed if you patron this establishment. Come for Sunday brunch. Asking for table for 6, waitress tells us to order in advance. Alright! we order close to $150 when we pay the POS ask for tipping without any serving. For the courtesy we give 20% & expected a good service in return. However the service was horrendous, they place us a table near entrance across the kitchen and multiple customers walked by, we request change of table & they are unwilling. We asked for wine glasses multiple times & service bear none. The saving grace, the food is decent but unable to tolerate a poor service. Parents came here, said they had a great time and both of them are second-generation Italian, so I figured it had to be really good here. I ordered the gricia, the pasta wasnt burnt but had a weird reheated rubbery taste to it. It also came out within 2 minutes of sitting down. The person i was with waited over 10-15 minutes for their pesto dish which i thought was strange. Overall not a good experience. Also the servers didnt ask us once how the food was but noticed they went to other tables to see how they were liking the food. It's a more casual place because they take your order and you pay ahead in the front before seating yourself in the back. The noodle dishes were really good and well seasoned! The food was ready but unfortunately the pizza was cold by the time we got it home. The pizza was meh, nothing too special.
