I finally get a chance to review this place. I decided to order lunch here so I got a buffalo chicken wrap with ranch and with a side of French fries. I wasn't blown away but I wasn't disappointed either. I would say this was an average wrap, it was stuffed well, I probably would expect this at any diner but I guess I had higher expectations. Overall you can't beat the value for what you get. Under $10 and I got a lot of food to stuff me well for lunch and possibly part of my dinner. I placed my order over the phone to pick up and it was ready when I got there. They threw in a sample of their macaroni salad even though I didn't want any but either way I did try it and it was good. For a quick bite to eat I will go back and try other things maybe that's not their specialty and maybe I'll adjust my order a bit. I will say Teddy's Bs is a good spot to have some food with friendly staff and decent amount of seating. read more

Came some time last year. Breakfast took over an hour, noticed other customers were served before me.

What a nice little find for a very tasty breakfast in Bethany! We shared a corn muffin which was nicely grilled as requested. I had the avocado toast special which came on sourdough with everything seasoning and scrambled eggs on top the bacon was on the side not crumbled on top as described but they did it mostly well done as I had requested. I was not a fan of the home fries as they were done with peppers. My husband had a veggie scramble with home fries and rye toast and he enjoyed his as well. The best part was our waitress who was exceptionally friendly. The owner/manager perhaps though was on her cell phone on a back booth talking loudly on speaker phone which is the only detraction/distraction in the restaurant. read more

We've been in town for over a decade and finally hit them up. Their portions are huge! Chicken parm is delish.

Roughly a half hour or more later had to ask waitress where our food is. Checks, says will be a few more minutes. Another 15 minutes goes by, again ask and told really busy. No apologies. By the time we got our breakfast the place was half empty and some of the people that came in after us ate and were gone. Absolutely will not return! read more

I eat here often and have tried many of the different soups, dinners, sandwiches and specials. I have enjoyed everything. The dinner portions are large so I always have some to take home for another meal yet the prices are very good. They serve some of the best soups here. Even the desserts are really good. Teddy B's is so awesome. I like the club sandwiches because they are buttery and toasty and have layers! The waitresses are nice too. The burger is also cheap and yummy. Don't judge... I like the rare cooked best! There are tons of windows which is so pretty. There is cake to go if you want, and there is also a candle to buy at the front if you want to lol. Teddy B's Restaurant is always packed. I came here for the first time, and I've got to say that the food was great. I got the only free seat after leaving church and getting some lunch. The staff was overwhelmed. My waitress wasn't attentive to my needs, but then again it was a lot for them to do. I can't fault them for that, but it was frustrating. Would I come back? Sure! But if it's not as busy next time, I would expect better service. They get a pass today. Food was pretty good! The food gets a five; service gets a 3; so I ended up with a "4". Waitress was really friendly and on it when we came in, and very personable. We order turkey dinner and a steak- medium. The food took kind a long to come out but the waitress brought soup and bread, which helped buffer the hunger. The steak however was burned crispy on the outside, and he cut in to find that it was well done. My husband remarked to the waitress that it was not medium and she immediately took the plate back. However, she came back with the same plate three minutes later, and explained that they cut into the steak and it was in fact medium. She explained the steak is cooked on a grill and therefore burned on the outside. We did not make any further fuss. However, a good steak is good slow and allowed to heat evenly so you get medium on the inside and cooked on the outside not burned black and well done chewy on the edges. I have never in my life had a plate returned and a waitress argue about whether food is cooked properly with a customer. They should have cooked a new one and brought it out. As the saying goes, the customer is always right! We are paying for an experience that includes food cooked to our liking, and should not be forced fed whatever you want to serve up. read more

I went there and ordered Fruiti Di Mare and was very disappointed, because it was incomplete. There weren't any clams, or mussels in it. The shrimp were tiny. The good thing about it was there were a lot of calamari and scallops which was good.The fra diavolo sauce was very good. They gave too much linguine to make up for the lack of clams and mussels. We were in the Bethany area for the weekend staying at an AirBnB and need dinner after a log day of driving. Other Yelpers said this is a good place and they are really right. The menu is huge for what is basically a rural diner. Pizza, Greek, traditional fish and shellfish as well Sac comfort food with an Albanian twist are available. The dinner bread is made on site and is wonderful. My starter pea soup was full of chunks of ham and a hint of bacon. The braised beef with vegetables and pasta filled a large bowel and was great. My DW had spinach pie and a small pizza. She makes her own kitsch and said it tasted as good as hers - high praise since she used to teach cooking. The portions are very large and we ended up taking what we couldn't eat home for lunch tomorrow! We were too full to order desert so I can't comment there. While we ate we watched a steady stream of people come in to pick up orders they phoned in and this was a Thursday night - not on a weekend. The service was prompt and friendly. The place could stand a little interior refresh, but the locals seem to know just how lucky they are to have a place like this in their area so they look past the worn bits. We will try and make it by at least once more before we leave. read more

Owner's wife, asked staff, sat with her phone on speaker phone for over an hour. No rearguard for anyone eating as all you can hear is the tinsel sound of speaker phone. I thought we'd give this small town business a shot especially since I've read some decent reviews. We just moved to the area and were hoping this would be "our place". We were unfortunately very disappointed. The service was slow and the environment wasn't as clean as I hoped it would be. My husband and I were hoping that wouldn't be an indicator as to how our meal would be- we were disappointed. The chicken parm dinner I ordered did not taste quite right. It was most likely fried twice and to top it off quite salty. My husband ordered a rare steak which was burned to a crisp. Maybe locals are enticed by the somewhat decent prices but not looking for quality? I don't know but definitely not coming back again! read more

Teddy B's is a D. We live locally & their Wed. night Chicken Parm special was our favorite take-out indulgence. Like, once a month. When out-of-town family was in, they demanded Teddy's. The past 4 times we ordered, there was always something wrong with the order. Wrong soup, forgot bread, the absolute worst was when the entire cheese layer of the chicken parm was melted into the plastic top, causing shards of plastic to embed in parts of chicken that had to be thrown away. I wanted to call and complain, my father wouldn't let me (my mistake listening to him). When we FINALLY worked up the confidence to order our fav chicken parm specials again - during Covid19 - an order of 6, we were missing a salad and given the wrong soup, leaving 2 people without their sides. I called. They apologized & said to mention these errors the next time because it simply wasn't convenient for us to return to the restaurant. (At this time I mentioned the previous experience with melted plastic in the food that rendered it inedible & they offered no compensation.) Tonight we gave Teddy's one last chance and when I mentioned the missing salad and soup, I was informed that the owner had no recollection of my previous complaint and wouldn't honor my request. Order cancelled - we're done! They want to lose customers over a side salad and cup of soup, not freakin' filet mignon, they don't need our $. read more

Teddy B's had a fantastic sit down breakfast. I brought my lady friend and ordered the blueberry pancake combo. Everything was cooked well, the pancakes were light and fluffy, and the coffee brought me to life. My lady had the hash and eggs. She ordered the white toast even though she didn't eat any... . Hash was pretty good. Our waitress was great even though it was her first time working breakfast shift. She was friendly and prompt. Teddy should look into getting real maple syrup and more hot sauce selection. I'll be back. read more

You know, the stuff that goes right into landfills because it is not recyclable and is the worst for the environment? And all the single use containers for the sauces?? I'm there with three other people.we order our dinner and waiting 1 hour and 20 minutes. We ordered a bacon pizza and when it was time to eat they put cooked bacon on the pizza then cooked the pie in the oven. Really. The pasta was dry and the ravioli with meat sauce, they use cheap sauce. The only thing that was good was the sub. That's it. hi:) I never really review places unless they are really good or really bad. I don't really review places in general but I went to this place for the first time and the service was terrible. We waited for our drinks that didn't come so we had to ask another waitress to get our drink for us. Then we ordered and we waited over an hour and a half for our food as well that never came . Not to mention the waitress gave our checks when our food didn't even come which she took it back after she realized. We see people around us getting there orders while we just waited. Where do I start? My family and I have been coming to Teddy B's since I was a child. Out in Bethany, there aren't a lot of options as it pertains to dining. Thankfully, this restaurant makes sure that the residents of Bethany have access to a large variety of different cuisine. Not only is the menu beyond expansive, but Ive never had a disappointing meal in the 20+ years Ive been frequenting. And to top it all off, the entire menu is affordable! Was in the area for a Wrestling event down the road, and hit them up for lunch on the way. Awesome pizza and friendly staff. The kind of the pizza that's greasy, but greasy in a good way. Just a little bit of extra cheese, enough so that some it slides off as you eat it, and you have some left at the end to put on the crust and eat it, which I love being able to do. On several occasions I've visited Teddy B's and most of the time it was pleasant, but not recently. I recently went there and reserved seating for four and was told a table would be cleared shortly. I was by myself initially and was waiting for the table to be cleared. However, when my friends arrived who were two African Americans and one Caucasian the tone totally changed. I was then told they have a party of twenty and the table is no longer available. There was a large party there, but they were on the other side of the restaurant. I then questioned why I was told the table would be cleared and available. The hostess or head waitress just gave me a blank look and walked back towards the kitchen. I'm not playing the race card, but I did deserve an explanation as to why I was told the table would be cleared and suddenly it wasn't. read more

Sometimes the food is pretty decent. Sometimes it isn't. Such is life if you eat at a restaurant in Bethany. I haven't been back in years, so perhaps since they renovated it's gotten better, but the service here in the past was spotty, bordering on terrible. Honestly, I was pretty blown away by how fantastic the penne a la vodka is at Teddy B's. Unexpected, that's for sure! Creamy, rich, slightly tangy, and with plenty of chicken on top. The portion was HUGE and came with a side salad. Definitely piques my interest about the other dishes here. My BF and I stopped by here this afternoon. Pleasant local eatery. I dont remember the waitress' s name but she was a young blond lady. She was very friendly, polite, attentive and enthusiastic. We had appetisers x two which were tasty and I was pleased to see they served ShockS beer. I will definitely return to Teddy B's when next in that area. read more
