I took in a gaming laptop I'd bought from a friend that wasn't been able to properly power on they…read morefound out the problem was with the cooling, and got it fixed decently fast and at a good price.Good customer service, good office, all in all a good experience. Since the repair the laptop's been working great.

We brought MSI and LG Gram laptops in for repair since our last experience was fast and easy…read more This experience was NOT fast and NOT easy. Problem 1: Open-ended commitment on diagnosis and repair time (Fan Replacement on the MSI estimated to take up to 2 weeks). Juan finally told us that they offer 1-day service as an option. Problem 2: Poor detail management. We had to remind Juan to return the charger for the LG. Problem 3: Shop was supposed to open at 10AM and we were told at 10:05 that he was 10-15minutes away. Problem 4: Juan was marginally polite but clearly was not customer friendly. Our Laptops' Status (owner remedies): 1. MSI FAN NOISE: MSI is still functional and sit's on a Large FAN Cooling platform and occasionally makes a bearing squeek. A check for Fan availability shows 5-14day availability (ships from China). Juan, a good customer service approach would have been to just be up front with the parts availability! 2. LG Gram BlueScreen: Using the Windows11 Restore routine after backing up personal files fixed the problem. Juan wanted several hundred dollars to do this including CPU cooling maintenance. Aren't there diagnostics routines that could be used first to confirm that overheating is actually an issue?

My mom's landline was hacked three years ago. They stole the phone line and had ATT hand it over to…read morea throwaway cellular account on Verizon. They proceeded to use her phone line to apply for credit, etc. Scary, invasive and cruel. The first thing I did when I got back was have Jeremy from Frankenstein Computers help me tackle the hardware aspects of the problem. He was outstanding. I recently needed his help again with an entirely different problem and he solved problems with ease, in no time flat. Worth every dollar.

Was sold a 'replacement' computer that did NOT have the proper cable output for my network…read more Was told problem was the cable, so bought one, didn't work, but bought another, which didn't work either. paid hourly rate to tech to route cables thru walls, only to learn that the computer itself was the root problem. Tony, who seems to manage all finances, not only refused any request for offsets, but refused to discuss the issue, forcing me to pay his total balance of $3000, then banning me from further service. The management style is heavily passive aggressive, and the result is thousands spent with no end in sight to a functioning network. Tony REFUSES to speak w me now, much less come see the problem that his company has created, and now I must pick through all the parts left scattered around my office by the tech, who ALSO is avoiding calls. $135 Per hour to route cables that were never going to work, but NOW its all my fault for not specifying an exact computer replacement, when they ALONE decided which computer I needed. Does this sound like a company you wanna work with?
