My Huawei Mate 9 started acting strange. I was worried that I would have to buy a new phone since it's a slightly older phone and doing a repair through Huawei would cost more than i would want to pay. I've been here on several occasions in the past. Previously-- it was to unlock a AT&T iPhone 3GS.. Then I brought that same phone back to change the battery later down the road when the stock battery went bad. Today, I went there because I got a coupon in my eMail for buying one tempered glass protector (iPhone 6 any model) and get one FREE. Well I messed up the installation of the screen protector that came with the case (it was bad) and decided that I'd get it professionally done by people I've come to trust in the past.. I was literally about to lose my mind with this place. I got my XSMax screen replaced for full price $190 in Nov 2020 and by Feb 2021, 3 months later, it separated from the phone. i came back expecting a warrantied replacement. after all it was only 3 months after i bought the replacement screen. The work has to be guaranteed right? WRONG. i had to pay $110 for them to put another screen on my phone 3 months after paying $190 for the first screen. . Fast forward to June 2021 THE SCREEN CAME OFF THE PHONE AGAIN!!!! just 4 months after the 2ND NEW SCREEN I HAD TO BUY FROM THESE GUYS!!!! AND THEY WANTED ME TO PAY ANOTHER $100!?!?!?!? I had to come back 3 times in the last 7 months and with 2 full time jobs and 3 kids, who has the time to do that???? This worker there today?? My experience: My earpiece stopped working one day in my iPhone 3Gs--I couldn't hear the person on the opposite side of the line, unless I used my speakerphone or bluetooth. It was terrible. First I went to the Apple store and they told me they couldn't fix it for me since it had been unlocked, and they didn't have a serial number for it. But they recommended this kiosk in Ala Moana to go to (I won't mention the name... UPNEXT WIRELESS). So I went to the kiosk they recommended, and they told me it'd be about 10 days to fix, unless I went to the "source" in Chinatown, which I did. They told me 3-5 days, and I told them to call me when the earpiece they had to order for my phone came in the mail, so I could bring my phone in instead of them holding it for up to 5 days. Long story short, after I went to the store in Chinatown AGAIN after 7 days, they told me it'd be another MONTH. And I had already paid $80 to get the repair done by them! I demanded a refund, and got it. I called AT&T and they recommended Tech Armor. I called the guy working there-- Matan. I drove over there in about 15 minutes, and he replaced my earpiece AND the "lock" button at the top of the phone I had been missing for months (replaced the lock button for FREE by the way). It only took Matan UNDER 30 MINUTES to fix my phone completely! AND I ONLY PAID $30!!!! EXCELLENT service! Tech Armor services are CHEAP, FAST, and done WELL! Thank you SO MUCH! read more

He had informed that the battery had broke too so he put in a new battery for the iPhone and back of my iPhone and then he gave it to me for very resonable cheap cheap price. I was very happy with the business that he ran because he got it done within 5 minutes of us standing therehe was very professional and he knew what he was talking about and that made me feel very comfortable bringing my phone there. Original: I am beyond impressed. While on my morning jog I dropped my iPhone 6 and it completely shattered the screen! The screen was so bad it cut my finger when I touched it. I showed up to tech armor kiosk at ala Moana without any notice and the friendly worker took my phone without any problem! She told me to return in 20 minutes and it would be fixed! Fast, reliable and professional company. While the price was a little on the steep side ($150) I wouldn't hesitate to return ! I called a few other places and only one other place offered a lower price but they had horrible reviews. I highly recommend this place ! Edited: Very low quality screens for the iPhone, I compared it to my boyfriends and it wasn't as clear and bright. After 2 weeks I returned to the Kiosk because I had also bought a screen protector that was suppose to stop my phone from breaking. I dropped my phone a lame 3 feet and both the screen protector and phone shattered. They also told me when I originally went to fix my phone that their was full warranty for 60 days if my phone screen breaks. Went there yesterday to get an iPhone unlocked. The guy there was really helpful. Explained to me what was going to happen to get the iPhone unlocked and even offered me some discounts on the unlock and on phone accessories. I was going to fix my 3GS on my own and bought a glass kit for it but then found that when I got into it the lcd was cracked as well. I brought it to Tech Armor, who had the part in stock, and decided (because I was feeling lazy) to have them finish the job. Isa (the guys name) did a quick and professional job of finishing up the glass replacement, putting the new LCD in and testing it. Good thing because the glass didn't work.. :) He did a quick replacement and tested it again. I've been in tech a long time and appreciated Isa's demeanor with me as a customer and his clear enjoyment of what he does for a job. Keep up the good work Isa. I'm back to the mainland in a week but if I'm in Hawaii again and need a phone repaired I know where to go to get the job done well. Shocking. Not only did they fix the power button for my iPhone, they later fixed a mistake with no complaint. The speaker for the video camera had been unhooked, or something, when the button was repaired. TechArmour took it back with no back talk or excuses. It was fixed and I received and apology. Dropped my iPhone earlier this week and thought about just living with a cracked screen until my upgrade eligibility. I've done it before and having a phone with a cracked screen for x amount of time was a struggle! I immediately started Googling places that fixed phone screens and came across this little ditty on Yelp. Based on the positive reviews, it didn't take long for me to decide. I was quoted $139 based on the model of my phone so I'm guessing prices range by models. I was also told it would take 20-30 minutes but I don't really know how long it took since I decided to kill time at Mai Tai. I came in looking to repair my cracked phone screen, and they were fast and helpful. Took the tech, 20 mins and my phone was ready. Turned out that the glass installed actually had a manufacturers defect which didn't become evident until later that day as the glass developed a hairline crack. I went to get my iPhone 5 fixed since it was severely cracked, a part of the top right corner was chipped off, and after a couple days the screen completely gave up on me and I was unable to even use my phone. So when I came to Tech Armor, the guy there (sorry I didn't get his name!) looked at my phone and he said that my battery might also have to do with my phone not working. So he replaced my battery and my screen in about 10 minutes! He said it would come out to $120+ (I forgot the exact price) but he lowered it for me when I told him that I had the $99 for the screen repair price in cash. So the total plus tax turned out to be $104.70. It turned out I actually had $103 with me in cash lol but he took it anyway and said it was fine. GREAT SERVICE I was pleasantly surprised at the service I received here- I actually wasn't expecting much from a kiosk in a mall. The minute I stepped up to the kiosk, I was immediately greeted, he actually stopped a repair he was doing to listen to the issue I was having with my phone and started looking at it on the spot. He explained possible causes and even educated my on how some of the components on my phone work as he was taking it a part which I thought was interesting- I actually liked the fact that I could see what he was doing- total transparency! I opted to come back because the issue was more complicated than I thought it would be and was taking a little longer. After them extensively looking at my phone, they pinpointed the problem and advised me to go to Apple and told me what I should tell them. They ended up saving me money with their advice! The power button on my Galaxy S7 was jammed, other than that, my screen was a little cracked and the back camera glass was broken. I only interred to get my power button fixed because it prevented my phone from turning on. I went to multiple places to see what they could do, I wasn't insured so I didn't have very many options. Everywhere I went they basically said the cost of fixing just the button on the phone would be almost equal to just buying a new phone but Matan at the tech armor kiosk was able to fix the power button on my phone for $30 he also replaced my camera glass for about $30 as well. My husband's galaxy note 5 fell and the touch screen bled purple liquid behind the intact glass. ATT staff helped us file the insurance claim but after receiving the replacement phone we were dismayed to find out they couldn't retrieve the data as we didn't have the proper back up set up on the phone BEFORE it was damaged!! Used yelp to get quotes on replacing the whole screen assembly, expensive but our last resort. Got a quote from Josue and he suggested if we only needed data recovery from the damaged phone that they could do that at Ala Moana. Hubby went down and had the pleasure of dealing with Josh, the nicest, most patient and professional tech guy I could've asked for. He not only recovered the data for a small fraction of what it would've cost to replace the entire screen assembly, he went one further and set up the replacement phone so it would back up to hubby's account and told him to change his password for added security! At one point during the transfer Josh asked hubby if he was in a rush or if wouldn't mind if he helped someone else really quickly. He watched as Josh patiently help an elderly gentleman with a quick tutorial, what a NICE GUY!! In this day and age it was so refreshing to find an honest company with incredible employees. They don't under quote to get you in the door, or upsell when you are frantically in need of help. Called around to a few different places to see how much it would cost to get my iPhone 5S screen replaced. All places where about the same price. It was between TCA wireless, Apple store or Tech Armor. After talking to the guy at Tech Armor he said it would only take him 15-20mins to fix, so I decided to give them a shot. Suuuuper Awesome!!!!! My screen was bulging out and cracked. He fixed both issues and also recommended for me to get a tempered glass screen protector, which he gave me a discount on too! I have seen the tempered glass screen protectors before but they were just too expensive at other places (about $50....). Over all great experience!!!
