Their website advertises a free basic diagnostic followed by a quote for further work, but I was charged $189.95 for "diagnosis/disassembly." On July 7, they emailed me that the drive would require Level 5 service costing between $1,999.95 and $3,499.95. At intake, they had set me up to receive text messages, so I expected important status updates by text. The email went into my junk folder, and I did not see it for weeks. More importantly, I was never given a meaningful diagnostic report explaining what they opened, what tests they performed, what they actually found, or why Level 5 service was supposedly required. When I retrieved the drive yesterday, it had visible pry marks and scratches. My original white data cable was also missing. They could not return it and instead gave me a black replacement cable. For $189.95, you would expect -- at least clear -- advance disclosure, documented diagnostic findings, responsible communication, and the return of all of my original property. Instead, I received a very expensive recovery estimate, no new findings, little explanation of the work performed, visible marks on the device, and a substitute cable. Based on this experience, I would not use H Power Computing again.

The parts came in and Korey came and picked all the parts up and began the rebuild, taking me step by step through the process. Communication was Excellent and he sent photos of the assembly. Korey did an awesome job with this rebuild, entire setup was clean, cables were very organised, and he gave me specs and even offered advice on how to make the rebuild more efficient. He delivered the PC back to my house and the rest was history. Highly recommend Korey for all your PC needs. He really knows his stuff.

Technician/Manager Sho Matsumoto displayed extreme patience, fast/friendly service, ultimate professionalism, and over the top knowledge of every aspect of technology solutions. My experience with Digital Solutions began when I dropped my old iphone into the pool while cleaning it. Did not realize until after speaking with him, that I should not have waited so long to bring it in while trying to dry it off in a bag of rice. Corrosion and minerals deposits could have already started to form making it almost impossible to recover any data if at all. Fortunately, I took my dead, possibly corrupt phone into Digital Solutions after reaching out to my phone carrier, the Apple store, and other data recovery services, where Sho fully and transparently explained the process and cost(very reasonable) that it would take to recover the data if possible. Within 24hrs, he was able to recover everything from the dead phone and reloaded everything on my new iphone and backed up the data on my external hard drive in the event of another catastrophe. I am now seriously considering bringing my old laptop in to be upgraded with solid state components to help with performance instead of purchasing a new computer for fractions of the cost. I highly recommend Digital Solutions and H Power for any computer/phone data recovery needs. Or for that matter, tech solutions. Thanks again to Sho Matsumoto. Significantly exceeded my expectations. Hey, My name is Anthony Hill. I just want to tell about my experience with Digital Solutions. I was working in the construction industry at the time and as things happen on site, i had an accident with my phone and the screen was cracked. I took my phone to Tricked Out Accessories and the service was bad and could not get a consistent yes or no if they could fix my phone or not. They had me waiting almost an hour after i returned the next day just to tell me they did not have the parts to fix my phone! I was very disappointed with Tricked Out Accessories to say the least! As I was going home after work one day i saw this store that just opened and i saw that they advertised that they fixed cracked phones. I went in and talked to the store owner and he was awesome at that he knows a lot about tech and he is very personable. He told me to bring my phone once i had the opportunity and i did one week later, everyone from the cashier to the owner was very communicative with every piece of information about my phone but also about the new and exciting things happening in the world of tech. My phone was fixed in a short amount of time, every attention to detail was on point as well the customer service! They also gave me some awesome advice on my laptop troubles too. Brandon (The guys who looks like he came out of an awesome anime show) was so helpful when I brought in my laptop with a cracked screen. He was eager to help me understand the type of damage I was looking at and what the process would be to fix it. He gave me a suggested price and timeframe and I was later informed that it would cost me $150 less and was repaired 2 days early. He gave me suggestions on ways to improve my laptops processing capacity and explained them in a way that I could understand basically. I came to the shop with a dead laptop and a cracked iphone. I was kindly helped by Michael. He informed me of my options of solutions and he was able to to fix it. Right away i noticed how much attention they put into my stuff. When I picked it up, it was cleaner than how I originally brought it in and turn around time was faster than what I expected. At the end of the day I pretty much had a phone that looks almost new and a laptop that runs great. Michael was very helpful. Definitely would recommend. read more

A few months ago I had an HP laptop with a broken screen that I brought to super geeks on King St. Not only did they keep my computer for MONTHS, they not fix the screen and they still charged my for the labor to get my laptop back! I took my laptop to Digital Solutions last week and they were able to get my computer up and running fast. It took two days for them to get my laptop back and I would recommend them highly. Able to work on custom built PC using a Japanese version of Windows 10. Managed to quickly identify and rectify issue that was causing my computer to shut down / blue screen frequently. I believe my computer actually now runs (a bit) faster than when I first acquired it. They also managed to clean up the internal wiring for no extra cost -- also a free physical cleaning. Victor, my buddy, my pal, my dude…read more.. A general rule of thumb in regards to human decency: when you are wrong, or when you cannot do something you thought you could do, say so. Own it. Be real. Do not try to refuse someone service or return someone a laptop they thought you could repair for a nonsense reason that doesn't even apply in this situation. You couldn't fix a laptop? That's fine, but don't pull the BS you did with me and say it's due to my 'unpredictable behavior' that you're 'not comfortable' with holding my laptop you couldn't fix. I had a similar incident with TCA Wireless where I brought my phone in to be fixed due to a busted digitizer. They admitted to me that even after replacing the screen 5 times the phone still acted buggy. They were very apologetic that they couldn't fix it, and I understood and paid them for their attempts to try. That is the difference between them and you. You couldn't even look me in the eye when you handed my computer off to me. You didn't outright admit you couldn't fix it, and you didn't even apologize for your own unpredictable and ridiculous behavior. Because I wondered if you'd be able to pick up the charger from me that day? Did I demand you pick it up from me that day? All it was was just me thinking maybe you might be in the area and I could meet with you wherever was convenient to drop it off. I clearly specify that I didn't expect you to pick up from me that time, or even that day. And I apologize for the misunderstanding. But you, whether because of anxiety or just plain flakiness, decide to be so unprofessional that instead of just owning up to the fact you couldn't fix it, you want to try and blow this up to make it seem like I threatened you or made advances to you, or that I was being demanding. I was being nothing but lax and you decided that because my laptop was a lost cause you could act this way to me. On top of that, "unpredictable behavior"? You are dealing in a business full of unpredictable accidents and mishaps, and with technology, of all things. If this kind of thing is enough to make you uncomfortable, maybe you shouldn't be fixing computers. Let me be clear to the rest of Yelp: I am NOT saying you shouldn't stop giving Victor work. By all means, do so. Perhaps he's the closest to you, perhaps you want to see if your problem is something minor that could save you money and the hassle of finding a company that repairs computers for more. Do with your money what you feel is best. But if he pulls this unprofessional, unpredictable behavior with you, don't say I didn't warn you.

He asked me for the necessary computer information and was able to give me a reasonable price that was way cheaper than buying a new laptop! He was very responsive throughout the process and let me know when he had ordered the part for my computer screen fix. The repair was done within a few days of him receiving my computer, which he had very graciously picked up while he happened to be in my city. Once the fix was done, he had sent me pictures with my new screen and a video to confirm the touch screen was working too! It looked great, and he ended up giving a bubble wrap case for the computer! He was available during a wide time range for pickup, which was very quick and easy as he had sent the invoice ahead of time. Overall a great experience and would highly recommend for any tech needs and fixes!
