TeaZen is currently running a $2 waffle promotion through 10/30 so I had to stop by and try them out. This time I got a Thai Iced Tea at 50% sugar to drink . The drink was so beyond sweet that I was actually unable to finish it. I got the Thai tea on a prior visit and it was significantly better- I am not sure what happened this time around. The waffles were freshly made and were a lot larger than I expected. The ube waffle had a very subtle ube taste but mostly just tasted like sweet waffle. The pandan waffle was more flavorful and had a mild coconut aftertaste. Overall, I don't see myself reordering the waffles but I'll be back to try more drinks! read more

First time trying due to their BOGO free promotion and I'm sold. Got mango matcha latte and brown sugar milk tea with boba. High quality taste and honey boba was cooked well. I've had boba from pretty much all the stores (T4, itea, boba x, bober Tea, honey boba, 85c bakery, Feng cha, ZERO&, gong cha, boba bliss, etc). in the area and this one rank close #2 to boba bliss for their milk tea. I never tried because price point is amongst the higher ones and I hate paying that much for disappointing milk tea, but I was very pleasantly surprised. Inside is also very pretty and spacious. They also have happy hr M-F 1-4p for $4 Thai ice tea, milk tea, and blue raspberry slushie. read more

Inside of the establishment is very modern and clean. Would be a great study spot. However, I don't know if it's the drinks we got but I did not like the honey black tea. I asked for lemon in it but the whole drink just tasted like lemon juice with no honey or tea taste. The mango matcha was really sweet and syrupy. read more

Came for their Opening Day BOGO special. I've heard of TeaZen before but this was my first time trying their drinks. I got the Okinawa Crème Brûlée & Tiger Crème Brûlée (both 75% sweet) which were amazing! Such a unique touch to have the whole crème brûlée inside the drink like a custard topping instead of just the torched film on top of the milk tea. Definitely recommend! Came today for soft opening and 20% off drinks. One of the better boba shops I have been to. It's definitely in our rotation of boba shops we go to along with gong cha, happy lemon, and tiger sugar. Love the crème brûlée with house crème drinks. Crème brûlée adds a nice crunch to the drink and is like a smooth flan, reminds me of the taste of tiger sugar. Definitely on the sweeter side for drinks if you're into that like I am. No food yet unfortunately, they said this weekend maybe. Overall 5/5 and we'll be back! read more

The food was extremely overpriced and literally frozen when handed to me AND had the audacity to taste like soap. When I asked for a refund, they proceeded to pay me to the cent of the item refunded, in cash, when I originally paid with card. So I didn't get refunded part of the tax. Also they were more interested in their conversation than taking our order. When picking up the item, they would have you walk to the register instead of the pick up counter.... 6/29 - As I walked into the store, I was caught off guard by an extremely strong smell. If I could describe it I would say it smelt like an entire bottle of Pine-sol poured into a bucket of dirty mop water, and then used to mop the floor. I ordered drinks and truffles fries (flavorless) but the store smelt so bad my cousins and I had to take a step outside and wait for our meals there. At one point my sister felt like throwing. I noticed another group of customers whispering to themselves questioning the scent as well as another family also waiting outside. I notified the staff working (one of them nice and the other unwelcoming) and the nice girl apologized for the stench and confirmed it was Pine-sol. I just want to kindly ask the management to train their employees with any chemicals they use to prevent this. It was such an unpleasant smell... not only did my sister feel nauseous, but my cousins and I all felt headaches and nausea as well. read more

Quick boba run turned into a 45+ minute wait for 2 drinks that I didn't even want to drink anymore after watching them mop the floor after a spill then go directly into making drinks. Cute clean place. We've been here 4 times since it opened and have always gotten the Tiger creme brulee and dalgona. 2nd time I was given the drink with no creme brulee ‍ and 4th time i was notified they ran out of creme brulee and it was still over 4 hours before closing. We waited quite a while all 4 times we have been here. I was understanding the first time (even tho we were the ONLY customers and there were 2 employees - still took over 10 mins) 2nd and 3rd time a little less but this 4th time was the breaking point between 3 and 4 stars. It was the busiest I've seen there and while I was waiting. I see what I assume to be the manager or owner (older Indian woman) standing on the side, arms crossed, just staring and watching her employees. GO. HELP. THEM. You're still new - make a good impression to you customers. Teach and train your employees at a different time. Then I find out 2 employees were on break which makes the manager/owner standing/watching even more disappointing. I'm glad my husband only a got a drink, I went to boba bliss. read more
