drinks were okay and service was slow. they have a large sign stating buy 2 drinks get 1 free with *matcha menu excluded from FREE ITEM* which is understandable since matcha is expensive, but when i went in to order a matcha einspanner and a hokkaido to claim that third free drink (we were getting taro for the freebie), i was told i couldn't get the free drink because the matcha because it was excluded entirely from the offer? i don't really understand that, what difference would it make if im paying for the matcha? you're saying if i want to pay more (buying 2 matchas at $8 each) to claim a free cheaper drink, i cant do that? it's like being told hey you don't get a freebie with this $8 drink you're paying for, you have to buy this $7 drink instead to get the free one. idk i dont really get the mentality with that. not sure if the wording is off on the advert or if the cashier ella had the wrong idea here? i ended opting for their mango sago instead of the matcha which ended up being the best of our 3 drinks. the taro and hokkaido tasted a bit watered down and the hokkaido had more of a coffee undertone than anything. don't think we'd come back. read more

We went here yesterday we wanted a drink but wasn't sure what. My best friend and I wanted something tasty so we decided on matcha but wasn't sure where. I picked up her son and my daughter and we met here to try the matcha. I looked up some places near by we haven't tried and this place came up. I saw a lot of my Yelp friends have been here before too, it used to be called something else but now they changed it to Teatopia. Plenty of parking and it's not a big place but they do have inside seating. The girl who took her order her name was Sage, really sweet she smiled but we had no idea what we wanted to order, but I noticed that they have banana matcha and being a banana lover I had to try that one, so that's what I ordered. My friend she ordered the banana matcha but asked if she could add the strawberry they said it was ok so they made it for her. I didn't try it but she said it was good. I really loved the decor inside and the mural was fun and colorful. It got sort of busy after we ordered our drinks too. The banana Matcha was delicious, I didn't taste much of the banana but they put something crunchy on the top which gave it some texture and it had small chunks of banana from what I could taste, nice little surprise if you mix it well it all comes together very nicely. My friend's drink had some boba on the bottom which we didn't know it would have but she said it was good so lol Idk lol. I definitely come back here. They have so many variety of different drinks. The lady who helped us on Thanksgiving was rly sweet. I ordered a Thai tea, and my sister ordered a jasmine milk tea (75% sweet). I'm usually not a fan of jasmine tea, but it was good! The Thai tea is just as good as ones that I enjoy from Thai restaurants. I do have a sweet tooth, and 100% sweet was perfect sweetness for me. We didn't get to try the boba bc they kindly allowed us to order as they were closing (we got there at 5pm--so sorry to the closing staff!), and they understandably just got rid of it by then. We ordered online for ding tea, and to my slight dismay when I picked up the drink, it was slightly incorrect. However, I brought it to the servers attention and he was so incredibly kind and nice to remake a completely new drink! Took my daughter for the grand opening celebration today of Teatopia. I liked that the menu was not overwhelming and that the staff was really friendly. The black tea boba I ordered was yummy, but we both found the taro slush to be (1) too sweet and (2) too icy / not well blended. The boba here never disappoints. I recently went back here and ordered the green Thai tea latte with 75% sweetness and 50% ice. It was the perfect drink. I could still feel the warmth of the boba at the bottom of the cup. Boba was perfectly chewy. My husband's usual drink here is the strawberry yakult with boba. Unfortunately no ice or sweetness adjustment possible for this drink but he loves it anyway. Service was quick and friendly. I am definitely a returning customer. read more

Ding Tea Brea is one of my go to spots for boba, and I find myself here at least once a week. I always have great service from the friendly staff, and they're always willing to answer my questions if I have any. One of their staff Jason, always seems to be there on days I visit and has consistently provided 10/10 service. In addition, their facility is also very clean every time I come in, and is always being kept tidy by a member of the staff. I tend to try something new every week and have yet to be disappointed. Safe to say, most drinks here are great and you probably will find something to fit your taste. I love their Fruit Teas here and have been pleasantly surprised by their new matcha lattes they have just added. Definitely swing by if you're in the area and are craving something sweet! read more

My goal is to visit all Ding Teas in the OC. So low and behold, I had to try this location out. I passed by it a few weeks ago so I knew I had to bookmark it. As per usual, my go to drink is the Passion Fruit tea. The base tea I always select is Green Tea and I always get their boba. it is always fresh and the consistency is perfect. This location, did just that. Everything tasted refreshing. The girl at cashier was very friendly and my drinks were made pretty quick. I would say it is a smaller tea shop but the decor is cute. The wall pays homage to the OC and everything about the OC. If you love boba and Taiwanese tea houses, this is the new place to check out. read more

The manager or owner was nice, asked for my opinion, and I heard him advising employees on how to make the drinks properly. Their double matcha is good! I also tried their matcha soft serve, which was not too sweet. The place is small so ideal for to go. Also, to my delight, they give an extra gram of matcha for free!!!! Ding tea almost never fails me except on the few occasions it does, it's disappointing. I think only one time and it was through delivery was a drink made bad (proportions were not balanced for the sea cream and tea). Unfortunately for today's visit, I ordered a drink with boba and some other toppings and then popcorn chicken. I almost left the store when I realized there was no boba. They fixed it no problem. This was the first time I picked up spicy popcorn chicken in person though as I usually order delivery via doordash. They usually include the sweet and sour sauce inside the box but when I got home, there was no sauce. It doesn't really hit the spot without having both the sauce and popcorn chicken together.
