I bought 2 drinks because I saw that they currently offer buy one get 50% off on another drink. We thought that was a good and so, we ordered another 4 drinks thinking that my 2 drinks will also be 50% off but the guy at the cashier only gave me 1 50% off. Ding Tea has rebranded to Teatopia. I do not support this move at all. The Ding Tea franchise originated in Taiwan, which is the homeland of boba. There, tea shops fill the streets and offer a small menu of predictable favorites. I do not frequent any tea shop that hybridizes their menu to be pan-Asian (many local shops) because the boba, drink quality, and food is always off - either too sweet, too diluted, too greasy, basically catered to a crowd who doesn't care. It matters to me and I can tell the difference from a mile away. I don't believe the marketing that the store rebranded to use better ingredients, no way. Any rebrand comes down to lack of profit or customer support. I'll be going back to other authentic Taiwanese shops. read more

Went to their grand opening. I got the banana cream matcha latte with oat milk. It was the best matcha I had. Super smooth. My wife got the peach guava and daughter the mango Yakult. I frequent this plaza in Brea often & it was my first time noticing that there was a Ding Tea. I've never given their tea a try & have been wanting to visit for a while. This location was very clean, cute and quiet. I believe I spoke with the owner, who shared they have only been open two weeks. He was such a cool, nice guy. Answering questions and helping what seemed to be his new staff out with making drinks. I appreciated that he was willing to help answer all of my mom and i's questions as we were first timers. I get inflation but the amount of fries they give you for $8 is ridiculous. It came in a really small box, but to make matters worse, I opened it to find the ranch sauce inside the box (which took up like 20% of the space) and there was still space to spare to close the box. And it was cold, even though I got there shortly after I ordered. I hate to complain but that is just plain wrong. It's probably the amount of fries you get when you order half filled medium fries from McDonald's (if even that). Again, for $8. Drinks are fine but the prices went up so I ended up spending almost $30 for two large drinks (total of 3 toppings between the two drinks) and a small handful of fries.
