I had no idea what to expect when first coming to Teastori. I had never had boba tea and wasn't the biggest fan of tea at the time. I'll tell you what,I'm so glad my friend brought me here because now I'm a regular customer! The tea is very delicious and it is always quality when I go. They have so many different flavors to choose from. From milk teas, fruit teas, slushes, and mochi this place is a sweet tooth's dream. read more

I only tried their Thai Tea so I guess this isn't very well rounded but let me tell YOU, the tea was bomb (amazing). Not too sweet and the regular size is perfect. The ambiance is so cute and they respond quickly on Instagram which is a great sign to me as a millennial. Would definitely go back! Such a cute spot. read more

TeaStori is the OG boba tea shop in Gainesville. It was originally called Lollicup, but it is still under the same ownership and management. They just changed the name and added succulent sales. I like that there is a large selection of frozen mochi. The flavors range from black sesame to strawberry. read more

Teastori was originally called lollicup a few years back. It's been a staple of the Gainesville people and college people alike. As an Asian, this was my first experience tasting boba tea and not the last. Throughout the years, Teastori has changed, removed, and expended their menu to cater toward their customers. There are many classics milk tea, herbal tea, slushes, macaroons, ice cream to choose from. They even have mochi ice cream with tons of flavors. They even have half split cups if you want to mix and match. The toppings are great too, they have one of the better bobas in my opinion. Teastori used to have tons of seating and board games when it was lollicup but since then, they're added a succulent and pottery section. It adds a nice greenery to this study spot. I think Nam and the company put a lot of effort to create a welcoming environment ranging from seasonal decorations and colors. They have a cute sign filled with succulents that are well cared for. If you're feeling for chips or want to rep the brand, they have tanks, shirts, and hats. Tons of drinks, snacks, and a cozy study spot It's a lot to take in! But there's a reason why Teastori is one of the best boba and tea store in Gainesville. read more

I go to the University of Florida here in Gainesville, FL and this spot has been the place to be! I've been going here back when it was still called Lollicup. Coming here isn't just about getting boba tea, it's really about making memories. It has such an amazing ambience with decorations straight out of Pinterest. With their re-branding, they sell things aside from boba tea, like succulents and crafty vases. If you're a fan of Ghibli movies, this place is decorated with all their merch! BUT let's get to the tea hehe... The boba tea selection is ENDLESS. They have an assortment of milk teas, fruit teas, and their signature snows (essentially milkshakes for those who may not know!). But aside from that, they also sell mochi ice cream with the coolest flavors (i.e., nutella, avocado, red bean, etc). Their assortment of macaroons are very popular, and they have açai bowls for all you health gurus. It's a place for everyone and the ambience just makes it that much better. I'll be graduating soon, and I just know Tea Stori will be one of the few places I'll miss from Gainesville. Highly recommend checking it out! read more

Amazing place!! Amazing owner!!! Absolutely love they are helping to protect the community by following proper Covid protocols. Mmmmm Bubble Teaaaaa. read more

Love this place. Ambiance is great. Staff is very helpful. There's no limit to customizing your drink and offer a split cup so you can try more than one flavor. The mochi flavors are very unique and delicious (try the Mandarin orange, it's similar to an orange creamsicle). The mochi are a must try and fair warning, they are very addictive. Their Thai iced tea is on point. The strawberry rose drink which is listed under staff favorites is very floral and I wouldn't suggest it unless you are into rose water. read more

I only got the macaroons but I really liked them. The service was fast and polite and I love the vibe. It's very cute with lights and everything. The tea looked really good. read more

I had yet to return to this location for a few years. The vibe is super chill. People were in every seat hanging out or eating their wendy's. Everywhere I go, I always get the same taro milk tea. The flavor was definitely as expected. Then once I got to try the boba I wasn't really impressed. I am in no way a boba connoisseur but I do know how it is supposed to taste and the texture was interesting. I felt like it was tougher to chew through and so I didn't even eat more than a few. Their selections are of course vast as they serve their milk teas and regular teas, too. They have tea on display that you can have them steep and create how you desire. I do love tea and I will definitely have to come back and try their blueberry black tea. They also have cute succulents and figurines on sale in case you want to start your window sill garden. If you are in the area, I would recommend this place but I cannot say this is my go-to location for amazing milk tea. I will give it another try soon! read more

Very responsible business owner who cares about the safety of his patrons during this pandemic so we can still enjoy boba tea and mochi and more! read more

This place is awesome!! They have lots of choices for types of milk tea (I recommend the Viet Coffee Tea) and a LOT of boba options (jelly, tapioca, bursting, etc). They also have a little area with self serving mochi ice cream bar and a little display of macrons! It's a very cute shop with an anime theme- very cutesy! They also have lots of plants and plushes around you can buy. You won't be disappointed! Very fast and friendly service! read more

TeaStori - Front of inside of store - Desserts Near Me - Gainesville, Florida

Back when this store was Lollicup so many years ago and was one of the first standalone boba shops in Gainesville, it was good. It has evolved into TeaStori and it has become just great. This is a Gainesville institution and we are lucky to have this amazing community-minded business here. The store has gone through many changes inside but the product is always delicious. My favorite is definitely lychee green tea with lychee jelly but if I really want to indulge, the taro milk tea with boba is so incredibly smooth and delicious and the boba is always nice and chewy. In fact, TeaStori has been 100% consistent throughout the years with their quality which makes me continue to go back. read more

Yummy I sure do love TeaStori this place is great. Last night I was picking up some food from Indian Cuisine which is in the same shopping plaze so I decided to get a boba tea as well. I was shocked to find such a great product for such little money! This place is also super duper nice inside. This would be a great place to bring a book or a laptop and hang out! Since I just had the boba tea I can't real talk much about the other items this place has. The boba tea had the right amount of flavor and bubbles in it. The size was a perfect size and I even could not finish it all. I will for sure be back to try more! read more

Best boba/milk tea in town by far! They offer a LOT of fun flavors and the honey boba always tastes soft and fresh. Nice ambiance and staff too. read more

Really cute boba shop with a huge array of flavors and options! I personally love the tiramisu bubble tea and get it nearly every time i go, which is pretty often. It takes like sweet but strong coffee and is amazing with the whipped cream. Another one I've tried out of curiosity was the unicorn drink, which I didn't know would have ice cream when i ordered it and was super sweet, but also really good. The only critique i have to give this place is that I go so often so i wish their customer loyalty system was more fleshed out. Where i'm from, the local boba shops all have a physical buy 9 get 1 free card or other little coupons along the way, and it keeps people coming back with the intent to build towards their rewards and have good boba. With teastori, it's difficult to check rewards and it's difficult to know which drinks you buy will give rewards, which seems odd to me that they won't give rewards points for all drinks in the first place. This isn't a demand however for things to change, and as i mentioned i love coming here anyway, it's just a suggestion to improve and get more people to enjoy teastori as well. read more

The teas are great, so are the macaroons! Definitely want to get some Mochi next time. I've gone twice and will definitely be back.

Amazing bobba tea with customizable sweetness. My friend wanted a blend they didn't typically make but they were more than happy to accommodate. She's worked in bobba shops before and she noted how fresh the actual bobba was. read more

If you're looking to order mediocre boba in a non-covid friendly environment, come here. If not, definitely stay away and I recommend going to other boba shops in the city. When I first moved to Gainesville in 2020, Teastori was my place to go. Now, I'll go to other stores for better boba, better service, and also better Covid protocols. There were about 40 people in the tiny store and because the store felt the need to add back the dining chairs, you have to navigate out from the pool of people and pray you don't get Covid from the handful of people refusing to wear a mask. Their kiosks are non responsive half the time while you're ordering so instead of spending 5 minutes ordering, you end up spending 10 minutes in the pool of non-mask wearers. At once point in 2021, someone had posted personal stock information on their Instagram. How is that relevant to the boba shop? Maybe the business owner shouldn't focus on just money and business but also the safety of the customers as well. read more

I am not sure if the Green Tea made the Passion Fruit less sweet but it was not sweet. I even asked for the 125% sweetness but no not sweet. This made for a disappointing experience at the shop. This shop uses a Kiosk instead of speaking to the person who actually makes your tea. read more

We all have to wear masks now but who says they have to be boring? Stop in to TeaStori and bump up your mask game. They sell stylish masks that can make you look less medical and more fashionable. The Mochi are delicious and a large bubble tea is almost too big to drink. read more

TeaStori is a bubble tea and sweets shop located in Gainesville, FL. BUBBLE-TEA (4/5): In my opinion, TeaStori is the best bubble-tea shop in Gainesville. However, I do believe their beverages are overly sweetened and also overpriced compared to bubble-tea in other cities I have lived in. With that being said, I recommend the following: - Jasmine Milk Tea - Thai Green Milk Tea - London Fog Milk Tea If you are anything like me and don't like very sweet drinks, you can order "half-sweet". MOCHI BAR (5/5): This is self-explanatory, their Mochi bar is awesome and reasonably priced. read more

It tastes nothing like matcha (green tea). I feel like drinking VERY watered down green milk with bobba... not going back to get their drinks ever again. FYI: Restroom was out of order. Which was minus point for me. read more

A Gainesville staple TeaStori (formerly lollicup) is the location for many fundraisers and also meet ups with friends. Though their boba tea may not be the best quality, I have definitely seen this establishment continue to evolve and improve which is very admirable. They now offer a reusable bottle which I am all for leaving a smaller footprint on our environment for 6$. I would recommend their taro boba tea as it is their classic! read more

Always an amazing time with friends here. The tea is always delicious. Boba is always perfectly cooked, and the tea is always delicious. My favorite drink to get there is the Thai Tea with boba. They always have deals going on either for New Years or even for something special. The owner is also incredibly kind, always willing to help out with organizations to assist in fundraising events. They also even have an assortment of botanical things to purchase like succulents. Super neat! Definitely worth a trip here!!! read more

I love coming here. It's a super affordable treat. The atmosphere is fantastic and makes me feel at home. I love the Little Garden and my baby cacti I bought. I appreciate the love they put into their work. When I got my power smoothie bowl (with dragon fruit and other amazing fruits ) the man making it was delicately shaping and placing fruit on top as an artist with the focus and care for a masterpiece. It made me feel special and cared about that the put so much love into it. They're super willing to help and check ingredients for my diet restrictions. read more

I have never had boba tea before. I had the mango milk tea, it was good. The boba is like gummy worms but instead in a circle and a little more chewer. Tasty. I do not recommend the macarons. They are super hard and I personal think they use to much cream. Free wifi which is cool! read more

The atmosphere is great, the boba not so much. My taro smoothie (they call them snows) didn't have much richness like it normally does at other places and was pretty watered down. My husbands mango milk tea is slightly bitter with a grainy taste. His came with a fun different cup though, so that's cool. It's a fun place to hang out if you have the time but if you're just stopping to get some yummy boba I'd go somewhere else! Prices are average, I'll have to try there macarons and mochi next time, they look really good! read more

The best boba in all of Gainesville! Gainesville has tons of boba options at different price points, but teastori never fails

The story is a fun Boba tea place to visit anytime day or night you can even play games like boardgames with your friends. They have Boba tea that you can get split half-and-half if you wanna try more than one flavor at a time this is something I enjoy very much because I am a Toro fan but I always want to get another flavor but I'm afraid to try new flavors besides Deorro so at the story I feel right at home and I'm not afraid to hang out there for a long time either because they're so friendly and they won't ask you to leave if you are having a good time and being positive thank you for your time. read more

If you want to find some of the best boba tea in North Florida, look no further than TeaStori. Tucked away in a tiny strip mall off 34th street, TeaStori offers a variety of teas, dressed-up macaroons and - my favorite - mochi. My only complaint is that there isn't more outdoor seating, because this would be the perfect place to bring your dog and relax on a summer day. The service is friendly and the decor is fun and fancy. Enthusiastically recommend this spot. read more
