First thing I noticed is that the name is accurate--they are very much a "spirit shop." They have an adequate variety of wines, though if you're on this side of town, you'd do well (or better) to take your search to Dorn's, and they don't have much in the way of beer at all (Gator Beverage is the place to go for beer). Prices are pretty reasonable, and I found more than one liqueur that we drink a lot of priced at a rate $2-3 cheaper than most other stores in town. I also found meade here (!) but it was about $4 higher than the ABC on Newberry (see, I told you I go to a lot of liqueur stores!), so I left it behind. I did note that they have more than one brand of meade, which really surprised me. For a long time, Chaucer's seemed to be all you could get around here, but they also carry Bunratty. I was pleased to see that they carry multiple Moscatos, one of which was a Mondavi kept behind the counter. I may be returning for that bottle in a few months. :) Note for people like myself who walk: you will be given your purchases in brown paper sacks that don't conceal the entire bottle so that you can look like a true wino when you leave the store. Bring a reusable grocery sack along with you!

The staff was amazing and so accommodating. I highly recommend patronizing this locally owned business for a terrific selection of bourbons, whiskeys, vodkas, wines, and limited editions. Open late and packed full of boutique brands that cater to collectors and connoisseurs of fine spirits. Absolutely a wonderful business for locals and visitors alike. 5-Star Service! :)

This place is a great liquor store that is indeed owned by the same people that own the convenience store next door. They have frequent sales, great customer service, and know how to profile what you're going to get. If you check out the convenience store next door, they have this gnarly tower of busch light that reminds me of my younger years. If you're friendly with the owners, they might even cut you a deal on some of their products. Totally recommend going here over some of the other liquor stores in town, especially gator beverage owned by that jabroni on university.

While they have a solid selection of cheeses, they were not what my mother was looking for. It was more of a "what do they have?" kind of venture, not a "We need this specific cheese" outing. I also looked to see if they had any ice wines, but they are out of season and out of fashion these days, so it is tough to find anywhere. Otherwise the store is pretty well stocked, and we talked to someone up front who was very open about their ordering policies and the ability to get various items that we might be looking for if they don't actually have it in stock, so they are very flexible in that regard. I feel that this is the place to go if you need something in the wine and cheese world, even if they don't happen to have it in stock immediately. Better to shop here than the big stores or online!
