Get a drink and snack and get a dessert for free. Kiosk was a bit tricky, but staff was standing by to help. Drinks were decent. Red bean milk tea, large size, light ice, and 25% sweet. You get the idea--lots of customizations were available. There were a large selection of snacks on the menu. Tempted to get the popcorn chicken ,but went with the veggie ramen. The spouts were crunchy, leafy greens were fresh, and the soup base flavorful. Served in a plastic bowl. Lots of snacks to choose from too. The ube cream puff was pre wrapped. The comment was it was better than it looks. And it didt look that bad... Thumbs up for this place. Including the bonus star for family owned, top marks!

There's lots of yummy sweets in the bakery like chiffon cake, cheesecake, basque cheesecake, cream puffs, burst cake, mochi, crepe cake, french macarons, and more. It's near the Enson Market. It wasn't too loud inside and there were plenty of places to sit. I think it would be a great place for a date or to meet up with friends. My order: The matcha green tea w. coconut milk (no boba). I also tried the tiramisu mousse cake. The green tea was really tasty, the tiramisu mousse was just okay IMO. Why I left a four star review: There weren't a lot of dairy-free milk options, the price point was a tad high, and there are too many other boba tea shops in Gainesville with a better price point and flavors.

I'm a lover of macarons, I actually make a practice of trying to find them whenever and wherever I travel to. So getting our very own Le Macaron in town was such a treat! I've been to other locations in different cities, but now we have our very own and it couldn't be cuter. I kept it simple on my first visit to our new local location and cherry-picked 6 different flavors. As the kind employee gently placed each treat into the pastry box, I took inventory of all the sweet truffles and candies that I may taste on my next visit. After grabbing my sweets, I saw the lovely display of bubbly and wine and figured - "Why the hell not?!" and grabbed a mini bottle of Prosecco to make the pair. I enjoyed my goodies on their outdoor patio as there was live music going on out in the beautiful courtyard but if not, I would have definitely stayed inside to enjoy the absolutely IG-worthy decor! This is such a cute spot to enjoy some sweets with your boo, your girls or solo dolo - treat yourself!

Upon entering, we saw a variety of mouth watering options. My wife ordered a peanut butter crinkle cookie ($3.00), a vanilla bean scone ($4.75) and I chose a guava caisson ($4.95). We ordered our pastries to go and the woman behind the counter placed all three pastries in a box. The peanut butter crinkle cookie never made it out of the parking lot as my wife devoured it...I may have had a small piece to taste it. Not a fan of peanut butter but that cookie was legit. We brought the scone and chausson home to savor with some hot tea. My wife liked her scone but when we unearthed the chausson, it was flattened by the heavy scone placed on top of it by the lady who boxed it up. Instead of airy, flaky goodness, the chausson was disappointingly chewy and hard! Did I say disappointing?

The Lucky Charms was sweet and fun with white chocolate chips, though I didn't really taste the cereal. Overall, delicious and worth the wait.

So, of course, we found this place on Yelp, and you know I had to try it! Let's start with our arrival. It honestly didn't even look like there was a restaurant there! The building looks almost like apartments or condos, but let me tell you: this place is a hidden gem tucked away in this little neighborhood. If it's raining, I would recommend making a reservation because the restaurant is small inside, but it is totally worth it! They do offer bar style seating as well as outside seating. We absolutely loved the authentic vibe. We had multiple servers who all took great care of us, and I believe one of our servers was named Mateo. He was fabulous at explaining the menu to us. I was telling him how much I missed the little Brazilian spot we used to have up on Cape Cod and how much we travel, and he was so friendly and helpful. I started with a Peach Bellini, which tasted like they literally squeezed a fresh peach right into the glass. It was SO fresh and refreshing! For an appetizer, we ordered the QUEIJO COALHO, and let me tell you, this might be the yummiest appetizer I've ever had! The glaze was sweet and absolutely perfect, and the cheese was cooked just right. It had that delicious little crunch without being too much. The sweetness was the little cheat I needed before my meal. Next up was my PICANHA GRELHADA. The steak was cooked perfectly, and the rice had such delicious flavor. The sautéed onions were the perfect match on top. I feel like sometimes restaurants skimp out on the onions, but there were SO many here that almost every bite of steak had some, and I loved every minute of it! My rice was cooked perfectly, so it was fresh, light, and fluffy. The fries were crispy, and crunchy, which I also enjoyed. The steak was a little more fatty than what I'm used to. Where I'm from up North, they usually slice some of that off for you, so this was actually my first time having a full cut of picanha. Although, when I brought some home to my cat, he absolutely LOVED the fat. Overall, I really loved the decor and the vibe of this place. If you're looking for romantic date night, this is the place to go! We can't recommend this place enough. The friendly service, delicious food, and authentic Brazilian cuisine, spices, and flavors were absolutely wonderful. It honestly made me miss Cape Cod and brought back memories of the little family-owned place I loved there. We highly recommend this hidden gem for your next Brazilian date night!
