Horrible stale tasting, wouldn't serve to a dog onigiri. Not stored properly. I've eaten before from the source which was tasty.
    C C.

Stopped by again, purchased 3 drinks which were super sweet despite asking for 25% sugar (guessing wasn't done). The staff was friendly at least. The onigiri was gone, replaced with a display for pretzels...and no pretzels. Showed them their business owner reply below and they said they had no idea who wrote it. The cashier / drink maker and the guy she checked with said they would never ever replace the bad tasting item no matter what, even if the business owner says to, and even with a single cookie. This place is weird and the business owner seems obviously not very hands on if the employees won't listen to what he/she says. After the horrible onigiri here, I ordered from the source thru Doordash and it was quite good. Since this place was horrible despite a quality source, this place either sold super old onigiri to suckers (me) or didn't store / prepare them properly.

Drinks were delicious. Taro drink was with taro chunks. Service was quick. Location was convenient. Casual sitting area, clean and bright. Will come again.

Me and my friend needed a mid-afternoon drink before going to the 626 Night Market so decided to stop at Teaspoon. I decided to try a new drink I've never had and opted for the Lychee on Lychee. The Lychee on Lychee was a lychee black tea topped with lychee jelly. The service was FAST. My drink came out before my friend even ordered her drink. Overall, I would say the drink was pretty good. I do think mine was a little more watered down than I'd like. Otherwise, I liked the lychee taste and I always love drinks with lychee jelly.

Classic Thai Tea and Liquid Gold

I love Teaspoon sooo much from when I was in college at UC Davis so I was excited to come here for my favorite drinks, but unfortunately left a bit disappointed. The service was good. The cashier was kind and friendly, but when it came to my fiancé's liquid gold, we weren't very happy. His drink, despite being 100% sweet, was diluted and wasn't sweet at all. We could barely taste the tea. This was upsetting because the liquid gold was my go-to drink in Davis, but on the other hand, I opted for their Thai tea and received a well-made drink. Not sure why it was inconsistent here, but I don't think I'll be coming back to this location. It is spacious inside though and their seating area makes for a good spot to have a drink and chat.

I was craving for some Matcha milk tea and I stumbled across this place! The service was good. I was greeted right when I got in by the bobarista. She was very helpful when it came to recommendation because I was very intrigued on how many options they had. The inside was very clean and no dirt on the floors and seating area. I would say it was quite hot inside. With only one other person inside at the time. I ended up ordering the matcha milk tea they had. I only order the milk tea, no boba with my order. I would have to say the drink was very delightful and refreshing. It is a good matcha milk tea. Would not say it is the best I ever had but it is good and it did its purpose that day. Overall I give this establishment a solid 4/5 star review. Will be back to try new drinks if I am in the area. A plus note is that if you are a student with a valid student ID, they are offering 5$ drinks for some of their drink options. The matcha milk tea was not apart of the 5$ deal they had going on for students.

Get a new cashier. That girl has a bad attitude I asked for no ice. She put it anyway. I went back and told her nicely I didn't want ice. She got an attitude and took the ice out with a spoon then handed it back to me. Other thing I dislike is that you cannot choose your sweetness of drinks.

Honeycomb Banana Milk with boba, 25% sweetness
    Angela M.

My cousin introduced me to Teaspoon a couple weeks ago and I was an instant fan. The inside of this location is very nice and spotless, and very trendy. I got one of their seasonal drinks, honeycomb banana, which was supposed to come with honeycomb crumbles on top. But there was a sign at the register notifying customers that they were out of honeycomb crumbles. That was definitely a little disappointing, especially since these drinks are on the pricier side compared to other boba places. Despite this, the drink was absolutely delicious. The boba has great texture (not too hard or soft, drained well and not sitting in syrup at the bottom of the cup), and the combination of banana and honey was such a delicious flavor. There was no one else here so our drinks came out within just a couple minutes. Also great that you can adjust sweetness levels. Teaspoon is worth coming back to if you're in the area.

This is our trusted boba place, the offerings though not a stupendous amount, the drinks are always well-made, the place is clean and pretty aesthetic. The service is also always on point. There's a steady trickle of customers always, some hot days can tend to be busy but you never have to wait super long. Personal favorite is the Dirty Ube (coffee and Ube).

Service here was quick and staff are friendly. Located in plaza so ample parking Ordered the black sugar assam. The drink itself is just ok, tea tasted artificial and boba tasted old. For the price I wouldn't recommend.

    Caramel Cream boba drink.

I placed the drink order online as my son wanted a drink from here. We have been to Teaspoon many times at various locations throughout the Bay Area. My son decided to try something new, he tried the caramel cream that came with boba and said that it was pretty good. Our order was ready when we went to pick it up within 10 minutes. We were in and out. We are a big fan of Teaspoon as the drinks are freshly made to order.

I don't normally write reviews for franchises, but this Teaspoon is in need of a pick-me-up! I've always been a fan of Teaspoon since the first moment I tried it, and now we have one that's dangerously close to home and conveniently located in the plaza with the Safeway. Service is friendly and interior to clean. They have some seats along the wall with outlets, WiFi, and bathroom access. So far I've only had the strawberry colada at this location, but damn, it's good! A Pina colada (non-alcoholic, of course) mixed with their in hour made strawberry puree i.e. a mix made in heaven. I foresee many visits in the future here.

We got the buttercream bread, sweet rice donut, chocolate cloud cake, milk cornet, and the strawberry milk bread. For drinks we got the red velvet hot cocoa and the caramel macchiato. The buttercream bread was my absolute favorite out of the bunch. The butter cream wasn't too sweet and the bread was sooo soft. The ratio of cream to bread was just right, so each bite of bread had a sweet balance of the fluffy cream. The sweet rice donut was okay. To be, it could have been more softer, but it was expected for it to go stale a little bit since it's been out lying for a while. Some things are just unavoidable. The chocolate cloud cake was really good, but there was so much cream. Unlike the buttercream bread, there was imbalance here, but I adored the giant strawberries sandwiched between the cream. The consistency of the actual cake was perfect though, because sometimes I know it can get really soggy from the cream. Next time I would give another cake a try instead. The milk cornet was great! Tried it out because it seemed really popular; there was only one left. This pastry like a croissant stuffed with milky cream. The cornet was perfectly crunchy and the milk cream wasn't too sweet. Next time, I want to give the blueberry version a try. The strawberry milk bread impressed me. It was super soft, and I like how there was a really small amount of cream. Like, I understood what the cream was trying to do there. One bite of just bread would be pretty dry, but a little bit of cream can help smooth things out but still keep the spotlight on the bread. The red velvet hot cocoa drink was what surprised me the most. I suppose this drink is Valentines day edition, so it's not always here. I was so surprised when I opened the lid and saw hot pink foam! Like, DANG! Tous les jours really went out of their way to give us a sip of Valentines day! This drink is on the sweeter end, though. A friend said that the caramel macchiato was just okay, nothing surprising or impressive about it. I guess it was a safe order. The baristas were really efficient with our drinks; both drinks took five minutes or less! I love the interior of this bakery. So cute yet so easygoing. Perfect ambiance for catching up with some girlfriends!

Was so glad that she was able to open up her own bakery/cafe to feature these and additional Asian-inspired desserts for the Bay Area to try! MACARONS. I've been a fan of these Macarons for years, and what first drew me in was their adorable themed designs for holidays and special occasions like Lunar New Year, Valentine's Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. While their character macarons and classic rounds are super cute, what keeps me coming back is that they actually taste amazing. There's nothing worse than biting into a beautiful macaron only to find it's dry, but that's definitely not the case here. Their macarons are consistently moist, flavorful, and fresh, with the perfect texture every time. It's the best of both worlds--beautiful designs that are almost too cute to eat and quality that lives up to the hype! JAPANESE SOUFFLE CHEESECAKE. My first Japanese soufflé cheesecake experience was from a commercial chain, and while it was light and fluffy, it doesn't compare to Always Yours Bakery Cafe. Their cheesecakes are THIQ in the best way possible--rich, dense, creamy, and still have that perfect jiggle. My absolute favorite flavor is the Ube! Ever since discovering them, I'd much rather order a whole cheesecake from here than pick up a standard birthday cake from the grocery store. It's always a crowd-pleaser! DRINKS. I'm def a matcha gworrrrl so I had to try as many flavors as I could! They have pistachio, banana cream, strawberry, and creme brûlée. What really stole my heart was the Earl Grey Creme Brûlée Milk Tea! "Creamy earl grey tea with your choice of milk, topped with our housemade salted cheese cream, torched sugar, and creme brûlée pudding." It's def a unique combo I haven't came across any other milk tea shop yet til here, and given that it's a bakery, I figured their creme brûlée would be amazing--and it FASHO IS! I recommend it with oatmilk and less sweetness to help balance all the flavors. _______________________________________________________ --- S E R V I C E --- The staff is always so friendly and accommodating, and you can tell they truly care about their customers and the quality of what they serve.
