Ed, you are full of crap. You know I gave you business in the past and the fact that you are denying it shows that you are actually trying to "defer" the issue. I used to be a loyal customer. I purchased several subwoofers and multiple sub boxes from this company, and I even used to hang out at the old store during the dB Drag events, where Ed would personally talk with me. Things changed after I had an issue with one of my purchases that I felt was never made right. Instead of resolving the problem the way I expected, Ed built me a custom sub box that ended up being about one-tenth the size I had requested. To make matters worse, he later threatened to sue me for slander after I shared my experience, even though everything I said was truthful to the best of my knowledge and based on my personal experience. read more

11/14-25 they installed a XK Glow 5th brake light on my jeep. The following day my car battery was dead dead dead. They apparently never installed this type of brake light (brand new kind) and wired it to have constant power instead of accessory power. AAA had to jump my jeep battery for me to drive it back for them to remove the item that wasn't installed properly! They didn't want to admit they "fucked" up and try the cover up the issue saying it was with the XK glow product and not their installation. read more

Tint 5 stars couldn't be more happy. The remote starter however 1 Star. Tint looks great no issues the remote starter on the other hand. There are instructions on my receipt, following those instructions does not start my car. When I do get it to start with the remote my TPS light on my dash comes on now. For the price of the remote starter I think better instructions and a troubleshooting guide would have been nice. Truly all I want for is it out my car and my money back. read more

First Thing, this is not a kiss, blah, blah review. We have been going to Team Nutz for atleast 10 years, i have had 6 new car remote starters put in(i get a new car every 2 years), multiple cars window tinted, and we had one problem with a starter that was 100% a manufacturer problem with their wire harness, that was corrected the same day by Nina and her team i had the car in for the remote start. I will loyally go to Team Nutz until the State determines i am a detriment to society with my driving skills, and takes my license. Team DEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEZ NUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUTZ is the freakin' frackin' bomb! I came in today to get my wife a remote starter for her birthday as a surprise. They installed the living shit out of that remote starter system, let me tell you. Everything from start to finish was fan-flappin-tastic. First I got to talk to Nina who helped me pick out the right package for this install. Then when I came in and met all the people there - Nina's sister being one of them (Sorry Nina's sister, I would probably remember your name if you had the same first name as someone I once crushed on - but since you didn't... hey, at least your husband remembers it, be thankful for that.) Then I came in but I needed to get work done so Nina set up a makeshift remote workstation made up of boxes that I put my laptop and extra monitor on and got to work while they got to work on the car. It took two hours to complete the install and Matthew, who did the install, walked me through remote starting it and downloading the drone app for smartphone-based starting. Matthew is so fucking cool. (How cool is he?) I'm glad you asked. He is so cool, that if i were 1/10 as cool as he is, I'd be the second coolest person on earth. Actually third, Nina's gotta be in there somewhere. I am very happy with the install and I have a feeling that I'll be spending a large percenteage of future paychecks at Team Hot, Sweaty, Greasy, Grimy, Hairy Sack o' Nutz. I got a 2015 jeep Cherokee trailhawk. Shortly after I had Team Nutz install tint. Everything looked perfect! I also asked about decals and asked for fender stripes and horizontal flags on the back windows. So anyways I had those installed aswell about 1-2 weeks ago. The day I picked up my car for the decals, that's when I noticed the problems. The decals were not fit for the areas, wrinkled, peeling, over the edges of the weather seal, and the lines were cut horribly and not straight at all. To add to that the windows were not cleaned and there were chunks of dirt lifting the decals. Next for the tint, I notice small to medium sized bubbles popping up. I took it to Auto Addictions on 51 to check it out. They also agreed they were bubbles and that there was contamination under the tint. (Again with the cleaning of windows) so anyways I called team nutz about everything. They tried blaming the flags on me, saying I told them I wanted vertical flags(which I never did say). I just said ok because they were supposed to fix it for free. Then they called me again and asked what I wanted to do. I said yinz can redo it but if it's bad again I want the money back. They said they don't want to go back and fourth with me and just want to give me the money back and take everything off. That's just sad, and it's mostly because they realized they did a bad job. Anyways today I went in to have everything removed. The First Lady was VERY polite and nice. But then Krista, the one who helped me with everything caught me on the way out. I heard her go "HM" as I walked out. Then when I came for the refund. She tried to tell me there was nothing wrong with the tint yet I saw bubbles. And they also didn't leave it on. If they left it on I would show them. But after that she had no manners at all. I said "thank you" she was like "mhm" then I said have a good day. She again went "mhm". Everything was just very unprofessional... I then took my car to auto addictions to have them install the tint immediately after. There were no liquid bubbles like there were when team nutz did it. AND they went above and beyond to clean the mess Team Nutz left in my car with the glue in the window seals. 0 stars from me read more

Please avoid this place. I came in to get my brakes painted on my new Lexus because I didn't have the time to do them myself. As you can see in the pictures their attention to detail and over spray left a lot of unwanted marks even when they said they would be taking the brakes off to paint. Not only that they charged over double what they estimated over the phone. Please do your business elsewhere with a more professional shop who is straight forward and will actually fo a good job. Wish I give 100 's , everyone from the front counter people to the installers who even stayed late were beyond fantastic. Purchased a radio for my son's vehicle and had were shown multiple options and told positive and negative about each and in the end I wasn't pushed to the top of the line other shops were trying to push me to but instead to 1 that fulfilled his needs. I called two different times and got a thorough understanding of how it would work so I purchased the certificate. After I purchased the certificate I was able to get an appointment to install it just 5 days later and the shop was done within a few hours of dropping off my car. Scheduled a detail appointment. I stopped in the day before I was supposed to have my vehicle detailed. To talk to them about an issue I had with one of the cupholders in my vehicle. While I was waiting I looked up on the wall and noticed that tinting of windows is illegal in Pennsylvania. So I asked the lady waiting on me if it was illegal to have my windows tinted on my vehicle? And the woman went on to say that it's illegal on the road not illegal illegal for inspection. I said so what you're telling me is is I'm getting an illegal service done if I get my windows tinted, she said no I said well you're telling me there's a legal it's illegal on the road it's not illegal for inspection, she just was so rude and ignorant with her demeanor. She said are you here for a detail I said you know what I'm not here for anything now see ya wouldn't recommend this place to anybody just based on her wish I would've got her name. read more

They offer auto and boat customization and detailing, window tinting, auto, boat and home audio/ visual installations, home surveillance systems, car alarms/ remote start systems, custom boat/ vehicle lettering, custom wheels and tires and much more. They offer auto detailing products for you to buy and use at home yourself. They also offer a ton of baseball, football and hockey cards, signed baseball, football and hockey cards, signed photos and jerseys of past and present Penguins, Pirates and Steelers and other Pittsburgh sports memerabilla. My stock radio in my Lexus died so I went to Best Buy and bought a new headunit. I was going to have my local Best Buy install it but, they were backed up for weeks. I had thought of Team Nutz because they had previously tinted my Cayenne (front two windows $50) and my Lexus (five windows $185) to perfection so I figured I would give them a try with installing my headunit. They did a great job! Four hours later, my car is now very, very LOUD! The installer was really cool and made sure the cd/dvd player, radio, ipod connection and navigation all worked. He also tweaked the sound settings to get the perfect level of highs, mids and bass. FYI, they charge $85 per hour in labor so they aren't cheap but, you get what you pay for. read more

I am very pleased with Team Nutz. I have had 3 of my vehicles worked on there. I have spent in excess of $15k at their shop. When they come to your garage in the middle of winter and put your Corvette in a close trailer to haul it to your shop to work on, you know they are good. I had a complete interior installed in my 03 Corvette show car. It came out beautiful. Had HID's installed on the same Vette. They also took my brand new Toyota 4x4 with 350 miles and completely gutted the interior. I had a complete custom 2-tone interior installed along with complete sound system (head unit with nav, Bluetooth, dvd). Had remote starters installed in both my trucks, 2011 Toyota Tacoma 4x4 and 2012 Dodge Ram 4x4. I could not be happier. They also did the 6" lift on the Toyota. It looks beautiful. Excellent service. I took my Mercedes there to have my windows tinted. The gentlemen that waited on me was really nice. He took his time with me and showed me all the percentages of tint. I didn't think my permit parking tag would show thru the darker tint, so he took the tag off of my car and placed it inside his car (his windows were tinted the same percentage that I wanted mine) to show me that it was visible. The other guy took only 2 hrs to tint the windows while I waited at the shop. Thank you so much. read more

I have taken two of my cars here for work. I never had any issues. Their window tinting service was the best I have ever seen. I moved 2 years ago and still travel back to get work done by them. I made the mistake of getting tint done locally on my new car and I regret that decision. I wish I would have went to Nutz for it. I am actually thinking of removing the tint and taking the car to them to redo. Use these guys for your car work, they will treat you AND your vehicle the right way. read more

A couple of years ago I brought a car entertainment system to Team Nutz to be installed in a car I had just purchased. Team Nutz carried this make and model system, so they should have had some knowledge of how to install it properly. Unfortunately, I had to return to them three additional times, for a total of four visits, and it never has worked properly. I finally just accepted it as because I had to move out of the area. I never felt like they took my business seriously, as if I might not be a high end client worthy of their full attention. In particular, I was never offered a refund or discount for having to return to have additional work done on the installment. To be fair, there were no additional charges, although that would have been outrageous to request. Each visit required a few hours of inconvenience that otherwise would have been unnecessary. The owner/manager was reasonably friendly, but gave no indication of concern about the inconvenience and ultimate performance of their install. The younger guys that worked on the install were very friendly but there did not seem to be much continuity between each one that worked on the system as I had to explain again the issues each time I visited. Overall, there just did not seem to be much interest in my satisfaction as a customer. read more
