I had a bad experience at a business down the road (the staff acting like they are better then you) I called asking for prices on my Tesla and these guys were completely reasonable. I had an appointment a few days latter. The guy checking me in was completely knowledgeable, I decided to change my mind on the tint % and totally glad that I did. I was told that the car would be spending the night inside and it was. It's crazy little things like that, when people actually stand by their word and not just blow smoke out their ass. They called me the next morning to come pick up the car, I couldn't believe how great the car was. Now the true test, the week after I went on a 4,000 mile road trip it was night and day how much cooler the car was! Their name explains it all, better take two, three, or four looks before giving these people any money. The scary thing is the OWNER of this company performed the work... I never like giving bad reviews to businesses, but this was the most disrespectful to me and my car, and unprofessional service I had from any business. To be fair the detail work was good. Don't let them do anything more than putting water and soap on your car. They installed my vinyl racing stripes POORLY, quoted double the cost from the original estimate in the middle of the job. Of course in the middle of the job, as a business you analyze the situation and then offer a new estimate BEFORE doing the work. You can't take the vinyl off and redo it. Vinyl was cut crocked, did not line up in back of the car (have photos). The vinyl was cut so badly in the back that they used a tint pen on a $28k car's paint job that was just detailed. They did not install the racing stripes per original agreement (BUMPER TO BUMPER) Owner did not try to do anything about it, said "This is how all racing stripes look by any shop". If you love your car or your money, run far away from this. Hopefully the credit card company can save me from these people. The owner of this company isn't man enough or professional enough to admit he didn't have the correct skills to perform this job on a CUSTOMERS car to professional standards, and will not stand by his service. Took my Toyota Highlander in for their Gold package last week. The back seats especially had been ruined by two kids spilling numerous things on them over the last several years. My seats are a light gray cloth upholstery. I dropped it off the night before my appointment utilizing the key drop, and they called me about 3pm the next day. When I picked it up, it looked great and I remarked to the gentleman working there that I couldn't believe how clean they'd gotten the seats. They were very wet still at that point, and he said that sometimes (with my type of upholstery) as it dries, some stains come to the surface. If so, to just give him a call. I noticed over the next couple of days that some spots had shown up since it had dried. I called and spoke with Chris and he said to bring it back and he'd run the cleaner over them again. He did, and I can't believe how great the car looks now. He was extremely pleasant to work with and provided excellent customer service, in addition to doing a great job on my car. I bought the groupon, and I was getting close to the expiration. 4 days away to be exact. I called on the 9th, for a groupon that is going to expire on the 15th. I was a bit concerned about getting an appointment prior to the expiration due to the fact that spring has just sprung and everyone wants a clean car. The guys were extremely nice to deal with and I was able to get an appointment within two business days. I dropped my car off at night and just dropped my keys in the drop. My car was all finished up around 3:15 on the day of the appointment. I got exactly what I paid for and couldn't be happier. My car wasn't a complete mess, but needed a nice touchup. The one thing that I was most pleased with was the windows. Inside and out they looked great. You do have to pay the tax on the detail upon pickup. I'm not sure about the technicalities of this situation, so I don't feel justified to take away from a good experience to something I don't know the fine print on. And I'm not sure if you are supposed to tip on a car detail, but facebook land seems to say yes. So I guess that's that. read more

Mediocre detail at best and terrible customer service. They even do the lame, "hey we started working on your car and can offer you this service that's usually an extra $100 for $50 this week" up-sale call. My car's interior was so greasy after they got through with it and there pools of tire black in the grooves of my all weather floor mats. My feet were constantly slipping off the brake to the point that it was unsafe getting my car home. Had to de-grease the mats when I got home. These guys do a pretty piss pour job and the customer service is absolutely terrible. Do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere. read more

Got an interior detail job done on my car by Double Take Auto. Everything looked great. There were a couple spots that they missed with the vacuum in between the seats but not that big of a deal. I have 2 big dogs that shed A LOT, so considering how dirty my car was they did a great job. And they didn't even charge me extra for all the dog hair. Also, I can't believe how clean they got my floor rugs. I've had my car for 12 years and never had the rugs shampooed. I dropped my car off the night before my scheduled appointment. They have a key deposit slot which makes it convenient to drop off after hours. And they called me the next day early afternoon once my car was finished. Only had my car there about half a day. Will definitely get my car detailed @ Double Take again in the future if it needs it. read more

Reference Double Take Car Restoration on Banksville Rd Pittsburgh, Pa. I own a 2007 Cadillac DTS that is more or less used as a family car. I stop at Double Take for a determination of their capabilities. The roof is of some sort of fabric, and the person I talked to said they will try to correct the accumulated age deposits. As for the rest of the car, inside and out would be routine. One has to look at their web site to see what all is allegedly included in the $200.00 cost. 1) They did not even attempt to clean the roof 2) The promised poly sealant application, as advertised, was applied on rest of the car. They did not even buff out minor scratches as advertised 3) They claimed interior scrub and clean interior was done; however, the owner said he should charge an extra $100.00 for the effort. This is a car with normal use on interior 4) They called me to have them clean the head light lenses for an extra $75.00 5) They never cleaned the trunk 6) The one person's attitude was not very If they had raring system of five stars, I would give them a 1/2. I took my car to get detailed and at first everything seemed great and then the further into the inspection of the car I realized that the backseat was now loose and no longer attached at the base and after about a week the interior of the car was still not dry and started to smell bad and when I called the company and employee or the owner denied everything saying that the fact that I didn't drive the car enough was the reason that it was still wet inside and that it was my fault that the backseat was no longer attached. He totally denied every single thing and when I told him that the backseat has never been touched or removed for any reason he still said it had to be my fault and then when I said I was disappointed and I would probably never bring my car back down there again he started talking like a three-year-old saying oh great awesome thanks a lot thanks for calling in. read more

I just got my car back a few minutes ago and shouted "HOLY CRAP" when I opened the door. I gave them a very dirty, 7 year old Mazda3 and when he returned the car it looked like it did the day I bought it. It literally looked brand new inside.
