We decided to drop it off the evening before and we would receive a call when the job was completed and we could pick it up. When we dropped off our car, Justin was very pleasant and informed us of the process. As we left we realized that the garage had no power due to a recent storm. Even with no power we were treated exceptionally well. To our pleasant surprise our car was finished very early the next day and we received several messages text, email and telephone call that we could pick it up anytime. Justin was there when we picked up our car. Again he was pleasant and explained to us how to get our inspection stickers for the windshield. The car was very clean, no sign of glass anywhere. I highly recommend this Safelight garage. Professionally done, courteously treated.

The quality of work is superior to the place I had been going to before Solar Control was referred too me. They were fantastic people to deal with and very cordial. I was able to wait on my vehicles so I sat in the waiting room and watched a lil tv. They were quick and the owner went over some instructions with me in order that I didn't damage the tint giving it time to dry properly. Not one time did I ever have any bubbles or shrinkage. The owner also advised if I had any problems with it to give him a call. They quality of service was simply outstanding. I would highly recommend Solar Control to anyone searching for a prompt professional tinting, house, business, car or truck, this is the place I'd search first. I can't thank Bob Tykes Auto Service enough for the recommendation. It was certainly valuable too me. The value is I. Their work. High values at affordable pricing.

Before you book an appointment here, ask yourself one question: is saving $50 worth spending 10…read morehours of your life and finding human blood in your car? That's exactly what happened to me. I had my 2025 Tesla Model 3 tinted here on February 25th. The appointment was scheduled for 1pm, with a 3pm pickup. We arrived early at 12:30. Toby, the owner, informed us he needed to drop his kid off at an appointment and would be back shortly. He returned at 2:40pm. That's over two hours late to work on a car he promised would be done by 3. He then finished the full tint job in just under an hour. If that sounds fast, it should. When he handed the car back, he mentioned casually that he'd nicked his finger during the job. It was bleeding. I didn't think much of it at the time. Then I got in the car. Blood on the front windshield tint. Blood on the rear windshield tint. Blood spots on my headliner. Let that sink in. A grown man bled into my car and handed me my car like nothing happened. The blood was the most alarming part, but it wasn't the only problem. The film had visible wrinkles and misalignment that we noticed before we even left the lot. When we pointed it out, Toby brushed it off. "It'll go away on its own," he said. Getting a refund required a full day of back-and-forth. When we returned the next day, there was no apology. Instead, the person at the front desk actually pushed back. Her exact words: "Toby has been doing this for 30 years, and he has never done a refund. If you think about it, this is a good thing for you." Read that again. They put blood in my car, and I was supposed to feel grateful. We eventually got the refund and asked them to remove the film. When we brought the car back, Toby wasn't there. One person handled a removal job that needed two. The film came off, but so did five of my rear defroster lines. Destroyed. That's a repair that costs more than the tint job itself. So let me do the final math. I didn't save $50. I spent $60 in Ubers driving back and forth. I lost five defroster lines. And I still have blood stains on my headliner that I can't get out. Whatever he quoted you, it's not worth it. If you're still browsing reviews trying to decide whether to book here, let my experience be the last one you need to read.

I use Geico insurance and it was super easy to file a glass repair claim using the Geico app, and a different installer other than Safelite. I chose RYAN'S AUTO GLASS and am extremely happy with the choice and results - Here's why: 1) They are a Pittsburgh owned company and have several locations (support local economy) 2)They use Quality glass from Pittsburgh Plate Glass - Another locally owned business. 3) Super fast, and amazing quality work that is guaranteed (my window was replaced in one hour from the time I reported the claim and called Ryan's to do the replacement) 4) costs the same insurance deductible for a replacement as using Safelite. To summarize, it won't cost you any more money or time to both support local AND get a better product! #Recommended
