Yesterday I completely destroyed my rear glass on my jeep. It's cold and raining and I didn't want to have to wait to get it fixed. Ryan's was able to have me in and out in less than an hour and I'm really not sure how. The owner was there and very friendly as well as the receptionist and everyone else I encountered. It's nice to know that there is a local auto glass place that does such quality work in such a short time. They also managed to clean all of the glass out of my back seat which was kind of a mess. I'm giving these guys a five star review because they were the place that could fix our window ASAP. Price was comparable to other small businesses, I called at least 7 different spots. Safelite was "cheaper" but booked out for a week. Many of the places were 4-7 days to get in for a repair.. we had an accident and our window shattered, we were gearing up to go on vacation 2 days later.. we were in a panic. These guys got us right in the next day and told us to come by the evening before to store our vehicle so that it would not get hit by rain. Classy!! They were fast, simple and easy! I did have to call later in the day to see if the van was ready so likely a busy spot and it's worth following up on your own. Not a fancy pants spot so if you need special attention and glamorous waiting areas you may prefer a different place. As far as I am concerned the work, the turn around time and the cost is deserving of 5 stars!!! So grateful for these folks! They saved our biscuits big time! I would use them again. read more

I brought my 2000 Mustang GT in for a windshield. They were spectacular as Duane the manager explained the differences between aftermarket and OEM Glass. Today glass is part of the structure so an OEM glass (Manufactured by Ford) was the best and that is what I got, it even had a mustang emblem printed on it. Thanks Ryans for a great job. read more

My husband recently used Ryan's Auto Glass mobile service to replace his broken front window. Upon calling to make the appointment, they were super courteous and had a spot available two days out. They showed up on time, called first and got right to work. Jamie was his installer and he did an excellent job. Jamie was very friendly, fast , professional, and extremely methodical with the installation. The whole process took roughly 45 minutes. We only paid the deductible as they worked directly with the insurance for the remaining balance. All in all, this was a very pleasant experience (baring the annoying fact of a broken window) We would highly recommend this service and would not hesitate to use them again in the future. read more

My windshield needed to be replaced. When I called my insurance company, I was told I could go to the shop of my choice, but they tried to steer me to Safelite. I'd always rather support local businesses, so I chose Ryan's Auto Glass. My out-of-pocket cost was going to be the same at any shop. Given the near freezing temperatures, I also elected to take my car to their Sharpsburg location so the repair could be made indoors with all tools at their disposal. The first bad sign was when the guy who signed me in threw my key fob to a technician in the garage, and it landed on the concrete floor. I told him that was "Strike one," and he said he didn't do anything wrong, but rather the technician screwed up by not catching it. Strike two was when the female manager had me move chairs in their "customer lounge" so she could get to the rack of wiper blades (new wiper blades are apparently included in the insurance repair). Not knowing the quality of wiper blades they would install, I asked that they save the old wiper blades for me. She stated that there could be pieces of glass in the old wiper blades, but I said I understood that but wanted them saved anyways. She muttered under her breath that there were two Mondays this week. Some time later I asked if I could use the restroom. I was told they did not have public restrooms. Hmm, I thought at this point maybe I would have achieved "customer" status, but no matter. I left the shop looking for a restroom. Strike three. Upon returning, my car was outside in the parking lot. I glanced inside and saw smeared black sealant on my interior trim panel and my driver's seat was filthy. I went in the shop and was told my car was all finished. I replied that was not the case and reported the noted problems. The office guy begrudgingly sent the technician (who was very courteous and nice) out to clean up the interior. I paid my $250 deductible and left. Customer care like this is what dooms a business. Next time I'll go elsewhere. read more

I live in a bad neighborhood, and someone had broken my passenger side window, window remained in tact but cracks all through the glass. My friend referred me to Ryan's I only had liability and had to pay for the entire amount. When I called on a Thursday they said they could do it the very next day. On Friday Jamie came was was very nice, i could tell he knew what he was doing. When it came time to install the glass, he realized he had the wrong glass, so he took the time to get the right glass to finish the job that day. This was a relief to me because I have to park on the street. Great job Jamie, and it was very nice to meet you. read more

In this day and age where every customer needs to be embraced and treated with respect, neither of those two things happened at my visit to this establishment. driving through the area I noticed my windshield had cracked. I thought I would just stop at my neighborhood location and schedule a repair , after waiting 10 minutes in an empty waiting area a woman came out. This was a horrible experience. The person who was replacing my window on my car had no idea why he was doing and could not figure out how to put my door panel back on my car. It must have taken at least 3 hours. He tried to pass off incomplete work off as being correct and didn't want to fix it. Then when something wasn't working he tried to say it was like thst to avoid having to be held accountable. In addition, he ended up leaving my damaged window on the side of the street when he left and I found random screws from inside of my window panel. This was completely unprofessional and I will never be using them in the future. AVOID THE HEADACHE! read more

Company treats its customers like garbage. Had a front windshield replaced with a life time warrant, 2 weeks later I had a good sized crack form and noticed inside the seal there was a chip, it had to be there when they installed it and when I went back to get it replaced, they told me it isn't covered because there was in impact, but the impact was inside the windshield under the seal where there was no way it could have happened while on my car. and they were so kind to tell me tough luck and I wasted 500 dollars, and they could maybe give a slight discount. company is garbage and they do not care about it's customer. read more

I have a Subaru Forrester with the all weather package which means the bottom of my windshield has the defroster so my wipers do not stick in the winter. It began as a sunny Saturday morning, ripe with possibilities. I was up at 8am to hit the gym with a buddy. First I noticed a glove on the ground; a glove I knew was in my trunk. I assumed that the glove had somehow become stuck to my person and ended up on the ground as I exited my car the night before. Then I spotted my ice scraper. I still thought, "how strange - how did THAT get stuck to me?" I started to unlock the car when I noticed...glass. Lots of glass. I still stared at the broken window for a solid minute before my brain processed that my pretty new car had been vandalized. Wah. Fast-forward one annoyingly long conversation with my insurance company and one police report later and I found myself in the waiting room of Ryan's Auto Glass. After a recommendation by the wonderful Jonathan D. I called Ryan's as a last resort, given that my insurance company (actually, Safelite - my insurance co. is awesome) couldn't help me find an appointment anywhere nearby within the next week. Manager Joe told me that if I brought my car in by 10:30am, he'd have it out the door by 11:30am. While other shops and my insurance company had insisted that the glass required a special order, Joe offered to send one of his guys out to pick it up immediately. Joe is a man of his word and I was on the road en route to some Eat 'n Park comfort food by 11:28am sharp. I will never go anywhere else. Ryan's is TOP NOTCH and I couldn't possibly recommend them any more! read more

I drive a 2008 Chevy Aveo and it sucks. When the driver's side window mysteriously disappeared, I tried to find a cheap replacement, but I could only buy either the whole mirror head for a gajillion dollars, or just the glass, with no backing plate, for $20. Obviously I went with just the glass. But I was still at a loss for how to affix it to the mirror head mechanism thingy. Knowing it's bad manners to bring your own glass to an auto glass place, I sheepishly went to Ryan's Auto Glass on Main Street in Sharpsburg and asked for help. Todd was super friendly and no-nonsense, and just did the job. He didn't even charge me a service fee. I will definitely be going back there, with legitimate business and not my sad problems, in the future. read more

They were very friendly, were able to come to my work in the same week, and worked with my insurance company to get it taken care of with no issues. Scheduled an appointment to have a chip fixed. They called me about 1 hour before the time frame and said they were too busy to travel that far for a chip repair. Yet I had taken a day off from work to be able to have their "service". They're probably OK if you live close by, but if you live 45 mins. away, good luck if they're too busy. Very disappointed. Would not give them the chance to ever do business with me again. read more

They where both polite and super professional, even went the extra mile to help me with the manual workings of my rain sensor. I'm very thankful! These guys are fast, friendly, and super easy to work with. On a Friday afternoon around 1pm I noticed that my rear side window had been shattered. I immediately thought to myself "Great... on a Friday afternoon, there's no way I'm going to get this fixed before the beginning of next week." I called my dealership and left a message (which they never responded to) thinking they might be expensive, but would probably at least have the window I needed available. Since that was a bust, I gave Ryan's a call on a whim. The secretary was awesome - she told me that she could have one of her guys make a trip right away to get the window, and if I brought my car over they'd have it done within an hour. No kidding, I headed right over, and 40 min later they called me that everything was finished. So far, so good. New window looks great AND they saved my weekend! read more

GLASS BITS LEFT ON PASSENGER SEAT, dash board, hood, underneath the new windshield in between the cabin air inlet vent holes, and underneath my parking brake handle. I had 2 rags on the dash covering the hole in my broken windshield.. So they threw it on the seat. (with all of the bits of glass that it collected) Why? Regardless of the rags, plenty of additional pieces of glass were left elsewhere as stated above. Thanks for making me have to vacuum what you should have when I got home. I didn't feel like confronting someone who clearly didn't care about finishing the job the right way in the first place. Pieces of glass ... on my passenger seat... if I hadn't noticed someone could have got cut. Or I could have cut my hand. Unprofessional, sloppy job. read more

I do not recommend this place. I got a chip in my windshield the size of a dime. I drove it all the way out to Ryan's Auto Glass because I found them to be the cheapest which now I can see why... They guy looked at it and said it cannot be repaired because it had a line coming out of the chip (that's what glass usually does when it chips or breaks) . He continued to tell me it would cost over $300 to replace the entire windshield. I told him I'm disappointed he would try and take advantage of someone and use this or any excuse to sucker someone out of more money. I left and I called Safelite who was very professional, drove to my residence, repaired it within 15 minutes at a good price and with a discount. Safelite was great. I will never recommend anyone to Ryan's Auto Glass. read more

My windshield was vandalized overnight. Ryan's was the only location out of four that I called who had the windshield in stock and could do the replacement today instead of later this week. They were pulling my car in to start the work before I even had a chance to sit down in the waiting area. The staff were all friendly and the replacement took less than an hour. Unfortunately a rock found my windshield on 28 the other day. I own a Jeep Wrangler so I was looking for a specific windshield, one that matches the oem exactly. I stopped in just to get some pricing and see if the windshield I desired was available. Luckily they had exactly what I was looking for and at a very fair price. The owner himself came out of the shop and shook my hand, took the time that most shop owners don't. Scheduled to drop my Jeep off the next day and ended up chatting with him for a little while. The next day dropped it off and they pretty much finished before I made it into work. When I picked it up you would never know anyone was in there at all. No funny solvent type smells or anything of that nature, they even managed to transfer my inspection stickers.......any mechanic knows how difficult and or impossible that can be at times. Recently, while traveling from North Carolina to Pennsylvania, I pulled the rear view mirror off my windshield. When I arrived in Monroeville, I called auto glass shops for quotes on repairs. Ryan's Auto Glass beat them all. Sean, who answered the phone, said that if I brought it into the shop; he would fix it for free. I was dubious, but I took the car to their clean, well-maintained shop. Within 15 minutes I was on my way with the mirror back in place. Last weekend my boyfriend, roommate and I had the good fortune of waking up to each of our vehicles vandalized. Each had a glass window shot out by a teenage jagoff who ended up hitting more than 15 cars in the neighborhood with a BB Gun. I drove my car over to Ryan's Auto Glass and was greeted by Norm, the manager on duty. My boyfriend was working a 12 hour shift at Magee and needed my help to get his car seen the same day. By the time I arrive at Ryan's AG it was close to 10:30am. The shop closes at noon Saturdays, so we had to move quick. Norm flawlessly managed his team. He was able to source the glass needed for both repairs on such short notice and made sure I was in good hands. He diffused a stressful situation with ease and professionalism.
