Didn't bother installing it myself because the support from NavTool is notoriously minimal. Asked Pittsburgh BestBuy and they said they don't know how to do it (smh). Then I took it to Auto Addictions and they said yeah it's doable. Got the appointment scheduled a week later. Then I dropped the car off in the morning and it was done in the afternoon. What I liked the most was their professionalism. They are very knowledgable people and you can tell from the way they talk. NavTool's manual was a total abyss but they somehow managed to install it perfectly (now my old car has CarPlay wooo!). Really, really down-to-details people, made sure that they did not mess things up and kept me posted during the installation. Last but not the least, they charge very reasonably! Highly recommend this place if you are in the area. You wouldn't get anything better than this.

when I came in I let them know one of my amps wasn't working and one was and which one to use. how…read morelong did it take to figure it which one to use? hours apparently. I was charged 180$ for a wiring kit when they used the wires already installed in my car and even took about 10 foot of my zero gauge I left long. my line out converter melted and when I found it the ground for the speakers were wired together and the powers were wired into the speaker. they ran a remote wire from my b pillar because apparently the line out converter wouldn't do it and it was ran like we were on a speed run. sloppy. I had 1/4 inch spacers under the blown amp on my amp rack and when they mounted the non blown amp they decided 3/4 of the risers was good enough on a bottom mounted fan amp...... the tune it was tuned at was clipping at the rcas before the amp which is awesome. they installed new tweeters and I guess it's a custom to break off each and every clip that the oem speaker covers had for good measure. wouldn't wanna resell those to make my 700$ back from this experience no not at all. the ground coming off my line out converter was cut twice and butt connectored back together for god knows what reason because a 3' run of 18 gauge can't be more than 1$. genuinely just a ridiculous experience lucky my car didn't burn up literally

Although an overhead system wasn't installable they did head rests for all 3 rows and linked them all and made the audio play through the vans sound system. This took some "special rigging" on their parts because these players are not normally installed in this manner. Jason had me bring my vehicle back the next day and made it work! This is exactly what I wanted and needed for my family when we take trips, and they did it right before I left for my vacation! They installed the living shit out of that remote starter system, let me tell you. Everything from start to finish was fan-flappin-tastic. First I got to talk to Nina who helped me pick out the right package for this install. Then when I came in and met all the people there - Nina's sister being one of them (Sorry Nina's sister, I would probably remember your name if you had the same first name as someone I once crushed on - but since you didn't... hey, at least your husband remembers it, be thankful for that.) Then I came in but I needed to get work done so Nina set up a makeshift remote workstation made up of boxes that I put my laptop and extra monitor on and got to work while they got to work on the car. It took two hours to complete the install and Matthew, who did the install, walked me through remote starting it and downloading the drone app for smartphone-based starting. Matthew is so fucking cool. (How cool is he?) I'm glad you asked. He is so cool, that if i were 1/10 as cool as he is, I'd be the second coolest person on earth. Actually third, Nina's gotta be in there somewhere. I am very happy with the install and I have a feeling that I'll be spending a large percenteage of future paychecks at Team Hot, Sweaty, Greasy, Grimy, Hairy Sack o' Nutz. I used to be a loyal customer. I purchased several subwoofers and multiple sub boxes from this company, and I even used to hang out at the old store during the dB Drag events, where Ed would personally talk with me. Things changed after I had an issue with one of my purchases that I felt was never made right. Instead of resolving the problem the way I expected, Ed built me a custom sub box that ended up being about one-tenth the size I had requested. To make matters worse, he later threatened to sue me for slander after I shared my experience, even though everything I said was truthful to the best of my knowledge and based on my personal experience.
