Out of all the auto parts store in the city that I could have gone to I had to pick this one. Why?…read more Because it was on my route to where I was going. But I should have held off and went elsewhere. For those of your not aware this is located on the circle in East Liberty. There is really only one way to get here. I just happened to be passing by when the lightbulb went off that reminded me to stop and grab the item I needed. As soon as I pulled into the parking lot I should have doubled back and kept it moving. See, this location is kind of like the trifecta for auto stores on the circle. Next door is a Goodyear and across the street is a Monroe (I think?), two places to have your vehicle fixed. That doesn't seem to matter to some as they will choose to fix their vehicle in the parking lot of this store. Or let their vehicle sit here in shambles until they can fix it. It's like the shady garage of the circle. Anyway, I made my way inside to purchase my item. I say this all the time I am car illiterate but am trying my best to make myself aware of things so I can be a little more independent when it comes to it. First I walked around looking like a fool attempting to at least find the area where this item might be. Of course it would be in the last aisle. My vehicle is newer and the item I needed wasn't something I had ever purchased before. Instead of an associate asking me if I needed help with my face looking confused, I pull out my phone and do a little google. Thanks for the assist Google. After some self research I find what I need and head over to pay. This is the only interaction I had with an associate in here and it was pleasant. Paid and made my way back out to the garage...err, I mean lot and heading on my way.

Ordered a set of shocks for my vehicle online. Went to this store and when i walked in the door I…read morerealized I left my wallet at home. i told the young man at the counter my name and just as he started to turn to go look for my order an older woman came from an aisle and said I need my order number or I couldn't get my order even though I told her how much I paid, what the order was, my name and when I ordered them. I asked her if she was really going to make me go all the way home to get my wallet, as if someone was lurking around the corner to steal my $93 worth of shock absorbers and she told me yes. So, I went home and got my wallet and returned to the store. There was one person in front of me, he came walking up to the counter just as I walked in the door. He put a few items on the counter where the young man was working, the woman was no where in sight at the time. The gentleman told the young man, just as she walked from the aisle, that he had an order waiting for him also. He asked his name, was told his name, never asked for ID and went around the corner and gave him his order without a problem. Well, I got the luck of the draw and she asked to help me at her counter/station. I asked for a refund at that point as I was pretty po'ed that I had to go back into the city to get my ID when this other person walked in and got his no questions asked. Maybe it was because when I walked in with my buddy I put my hand into my back pocket and realized I didn't have my wallet and said it aloud or maybe she was having a bad day or maybe she just wanted to assert some misdirected fake authority. Maybe she is friends with my ex...who knows. I usually go to a different store but ordering online they won't allow you to have the parts shipped to the store you want. Anyways, customer service at this location is lacking severely and they lost a Customer today. I own a small fleet of vehicles, 5 vans and 2 cars. Guess they just don't need the money that bad. This store is clean and well organized with eveything easy to find. Checking out is a timely process as the staff move vey slowly. If this store wasn't convenient, I would definitely shop elsewhere. I do not recommend this location if you can help it.
