After inspection, they found several other issues that needed to be professionally addressed. They kept me informed every step of the way with regard to both time and cost. Luckily for me, they are focused on making the car 'right'. An older muscle car is a considerable investment. Nick and Doug have several classics of their own. It is a relief to find a shop that would take the time for fix my car the way that they would want their own classic car be fixed. I will be back to address a few bigger issues when time permits. I am always deeply suspicious of recommended services that would be add-ons to my bill whenever I go to a repair shops, but everything Autosmith has advised was not only necessary, but repaired inexpensively and efficiently. They certainly guarantee their work, as well. For example, they worked on my husband's Subaru to diagnose a tire system issue, and they had the car in several times at no charge (it turned out multiple sensors were faulty, but it was a difficult repair and they did some of the labor for nothing). Everyone is friendly and helpful. Tanya, at the reception desk, doesn't come in until 10 AM and makes clear that she leaves promptly in the afternoon. That could be an issue for people who work late, so make sure you understand when you're able to pick your car up and when not. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Autosmith.

He was incredibly responsive and said he could get an inspection done within 48 hours. He got it done the next day. The inspection was extremely thorough. In addition to providing a written report, he summarized his report over the phone and took me through the few things he found. His price is less than the national chains charge and he provides a better product. I would recommend him extremely highly to anyone buying a used car.

They did a fantastic job and saved me a ton of money and one HUGE headache. There were issues, with the car being 65 years old and original, but nothing unexpectedly wrong with the car. However the paperwork was screwed up, no one saw it, not the dealer and not me. Had it shipped to California with that paperwork it is likely I could never have registered the car in this state or if I could it would have cost a lot of time and money to do so. Because I used PPI the paperwork mistake was found before shipment and is being fixed by the dealer. Once I receive the corrected paperwork and the car I should have no troubles. PPI did an excellent job taking numerous photographs as well as checking and documenting everything and follow up conversation discussing all the issues and findings. Had I have gone to a nationally known brand it would have cost more and I doubt I could have gotten better or more professional and personalized service. PPI is a great value for the money. Because of where it broke, I ended up parallel parked on a busy city street. I called Robert and he gave me a quote upfront and set up an appointment for me to get my car towed the next day, first thing in the morning. It was not an easy extraction.
