I have purchased 2 cars here. Both transactions were smooth and easy. The second car was a BMW and Scott along with Lisa told me to take to the BMW dealership and they would pay for an Oil Change. As well as get the car registered with BMW. When I went there the service advisor informed me that the car had an extensive great service history. As well as a BMW service package which stays with the car and offers great deals on service work, Brakes, Spark plugs Etc. Finding good/great used cars is a challenge for any dealership and Scott and his team do it very well. Finding them a a fair price is even harder. I am very pleased with both my purchases. Thank you Team Hayes read more

I recently bought a car from Team Hayes. Everyone was really great and easy to work with! I came over from Bend and they were nice enough to help me coordinate a ride. The car was exactly as described and I couldn't be happier. Kay was very easy to communicate with and made the entire process easy and seamless. Rylan took me for the test drive when I got there, and he was very courteous. I also met the owner Scott and his wife. All around a great group of people to work with! My family used to be in the car business so I have high expectations for being treated honest and fairly. This group definitely checks all the boxes. Plus, I love my new car!! read more

Called Hayes asking about trying to get a vehicle and told them I would be there in a while to start the application cause I had to walk, they told me to stay where I was and they would pick me up. Then within a hour and a half of being there I was driving away in a 2016 BMW 528i. They were extremely friendly and helpful. Definitely my go to place for vehicles and would recommend them to anybody. read more

This dealership has some of the most genuine and friendly staff I have ever met. They aren't there to persuade or force you into buying anything, just inform you as to what they options are, trusting that you will do your own homework on the vehicles available. They were incredibly helpful with assisting us in financing our new car, and very easy to work with. I highly recommend this dealership! read more

Maybe just luck of the draw, however, initially things seemed all on the up n up and felt the owner was honest and trying to help. Got my son into a car fairly quickly and when he offered an extended warranty due to the age we bought in. He also said anything goes wrong with the car bring it here, I have certified techs and can handle all of it here, including dealing with warranty company and providing a loaner off my lot at no extra charge. Well we took the car home, believe it was a Lexus 350 smaller suv type. Within a couple of days the engine light came on so my son took the car to him to have checked, meantime get a call from him and he says the funding didn't go through (no idea why as you have great credit) but we need to get your son into something else. Also, the transmission was bad on the Lexus ( all of a sudden cuz) he said his tech checks all his cars? Was the loan rejected by the bank, I don't really know. He Did give him a loaner. So we're golden we thought and so appreciative. A couple weeks or so we finally get into an actual purchase. Funding and all went smooth. There was a mishap on insurance .... Come to find out we were driving the loaner uninsured because Scott didn't have insurance on it. We had insurance but not on the loaner car so I think it would've been ok should something of happen but at the time it was frustrating. Six months later...... The Car just stopped, on the way out of town and the car just wouldn't move, engine was going but just stopped accelerating. Stuck on the side of the road out of town for hours the day before the 4th of July. No warning lights no nothing! Long story short the transmission needed replaced!!! We called Team Hayes as we were told and Scott was not available EVER!! They also told us they no longer do service and we were on our own basically, no loaner no nothing. All in all it ended up ok 3 months later I think thanks to one the extended warranty and Prairie Rd Auto. Although the warranty only covered $6k of the $8k. So would I buy from the lot again....... Probably not. Do I know we were done dirty..... no but I also don't know that we weren't in some way. I definitely wouldn't buy from them without having my own auto shop check out the car I wanted. This was Dec 2023. read more

My daughter purchased a used car from Scott, who owns this dealership. From the get-go I was impressed: Scott is an intelligent, caring, and deeply experienced dealer. I was thoroughly impressed with his kind and thoughtful manner, the straightforwardness, and the way in which he conducted himself through our protracted deal. I also appreciated how he took extra care and steps to educate my daughter about car ownership. A pleasure doing business with this company. read more

Team Hayes Automotive in Eugene, OR stole my money and harassed my family. I was purchasing a car for my girlfriend and newborn daughter to be able to drive around safe in. This was my preface to any conversation they tried to have with me. The car I eventually bought for $16,000 from them with cash broke down less than 20 miles off the lot... Prior to the purchase we got a break down of the work they would do including a new head gasket and timing belt. They instead swapped the motor to a far worse motor that was spitting oil everywhere. They covered up things inside the car with DUCT tape and things were so poorly executed that the wheel well fell out on the first drive off the lot. We took the vehicle to Pape's Auto where we were provided an assessment of the vehicle that added $7,000 more just to make sure it would ACTUALLY run. We took this back to them as we had signed a service waranty of 2 years on the car to which we were told that it is no longer their problem. I attempted to settle this in a polite manner by asking them to just buy it back and move on. This is when the owner's wife began contacting my girlfriend to berate her as I had let Scotty the owner know that I would no longer like to hear from him. More recently I posted a less than grammatically correct assessment of this company to which Scotty's wife called my girlfriend and asked if I was there to chat with. My girlfriend said no and then the wife went off on her as I sat in the room and listened. After the woman hung up on her the text messages claiming they are scared of me and that I am not fit to raise a child. Their staff is scared... Pretty much fabricating things while also taking personal jabs. Feel free to DM for the screenshots we saved. Pure slime. The best part is the fact that I happen to know some fun information about what this company does extracurricularly. read more

0/10!! Shady people. Shitty dealership. I decided to give these people the benefit of the doubt. My prior experience with them was not as bad as this one, they had just offered a bad car. But if you're gonna offer a shitty car, then at least get a better attitude to deal with clients who are only there to give you their money. So they show me the car and I take my time looking at the car (like any one purchasing a car would) I take it for a test drive to see how it feels. I wanted to double check something before giving in to their price. Once I get back to the lot, I give the car a good thorough last look and just as I was gonna ask to check the last thing, the owner comes out like a crazy person saying with a shitty ass attitude "you dont have to buy the car you can just leave" takes the keys and drives the car back into the garage nearly hitting one of his own cars. Overall there's no professionalism at this dealership, the whole place is just badly run. The guy showing us the car didn't really know what to say as well it seemed like even HIS own people are embarrassed by this behavior and I cant blame him. He said the owners attitude was because of personal reasons?! Personal or not, you don't talk to clients like that. Incredibly rude and disrespectful. If the car is that personal, why even sell it/list it? Hopefully they're able to clean up their act and ACTUALLY help people and provide positive solutions instead of harassing, scamming, or being rude to them. read more

only giving one star because zero is not an option. Avoid this place at all costs ! These people are not only rude, but they use lies, intimidation and threats to do business. I'm not sure how they're even still in business to be honest. The two people I know who have bought cars from them have had nothing but problems. There is no willingness to resolve these issues in a reasonable manner. they would rather blame someone else and deny any responsibility. check the BBB website for more. read more

Our experience at Hayes was positive. Ryland was not high pressure and was professional and helpful. During our pre-purchase check, they discovered a couple of items to be repaired. Hayes had an in-house mechanic do the work and paid for most of it. We would recommend them. read more

We drove over an hour to purchase a RAV4 from Team Hayes. Rylan is a nice kid, was extremely welcoming and helped us narrow down our RAV4 options. After we were down to 2 RAV4 options we spent the rest of our time working with Kay. She was extremely knowledgeable and genuinely helpful in explaining the warranty options, loan options and patient while my daughter read every page of the contract and asked for help understanding what she was signing. We are so impressed by Rylan and Kay and will make sure we come back for any future car buying. Thank you Team Hayes! read more

Update on the truck I bought. It has spent more time in the shop than in my driveway. I've put more than $15,000 into it, not including keeping it insured and current on registration or the fact that I had to buy another vehicle with $450 a month payments. . The last issue was the heater core going out and catching on fire. Flames were coming out from under the console and it set the floorboard carpet on fire. My son sustained 3rd degree burns on his hand trying to tamp out the fire. The driver side window stopped working. The cruise control didn't work when I bought it, so the mechanic checked it out. It's disconnected and has toothpicks shoved in. Not sure what purpose that's serving. It's been sitting at the repair shop for nearly 6 months waiting on a part that the fire destroyed. Apparently they don't manufacture that part anymore so we have to wait the see if one pops up on a wreckage or used parts website. In 4 years I've driven it less than 1000 miles. read more

I would highly recommend Team Hayes to anyone who needs a quality automobile and who wants straightforward, honest and personable service. The team at Team Hayes are as good as it gets. Everything that they said they would do, they did and now I am driving a 2012 VW Passat that I absolutely love. Their communication was impeccable and they took care of me and my care until I drove it away. I needed extra support since I hadn't owned a car in a few years, and they gave it to me. read more

Team Hayes Auto Group - Lisa, Scott, Cody & John are the bomb! Thank you for your honesty and for getting me into this beauty! - Used Car Dealers Near Me - Eugene, Oregon

ABSOLUTE TRASH... is what you get with Team Hayes Auto Group. Where to even begin... sevreal months ago I purchased a 2010 MiniCooper clubman JCW edition with approx 95k miles and traded in an 07 Chrysler 300c purchase price was $10,900 and my trade-in for my vehicle. I got $5500 more. Within 20 miles of driving a car off the lot the check engine light came on. I notified Team Hayes and immediately took it in. they said they fixed it but within another 24 hours,The engine light was back on again... This went on three times over the next few weeks. And then the fourth time they said they had to order a part and it would take about a week. After two weeks of no word I contacted them and they told me. Oh sorry we can't get the part you'll just have to use your warranty take it to a mechanic shop they recommended. The mechanic looked at it and said he didn't want to touch it because there was multiple problems with the engine and in order for warranty companies to cover they need to isolate the problem.Hayes Auto Group told me to bring the car back and they would start a warranty claim for a new motor... YES, the motor in this car was toast. After a couple weeks, Scott Hayes told me that the warranty company denied my claim. Come to find out this was a lie 100% a lie. They had never been in contact with my warranty company. I contacted my warranty company to obtain a written copy of my warranty and inquire why my claim was denied. and they were very adamant about the warranty process and if there is any type of claim started or even contact made about my vehicle, it would be in their system and it was not. And if they were sending someone out to look at my vehicle, there was no way that would not be in their system. It would be well documented. Finally after a Better Business Bureau complaint, Scott Hayes agreed to take a mini Cooper back and he was going to sell me a 2013 Jetta GLI for the same remaining balance that I owed on the mini Cooper. It was not ideal, but it was a solution that woils this Process. After getting the Jetta, approximately 24 hours later, I noticed the heater wasn't heating up and it was using an abnormal amount of coolant. I took the car into a specialist, and here is what the repair cost is at right now.$4043.59 BLOWN HEAD GASKETS, BLOWN HEAD(warped) TIMING CHAIN, WATER PUMP, TENSIONER and some other minor parts. The engine would have to be completely pulled out and almost entirely rebuilt. Scott HAYES OFFERED TO "fix it" for $1000...however after all the times I took my other car into Hayes AutoGroup there is NO WAY IN HELL I was taking another car into there "shop". Bottom line I DO NOT TRUST THEIR ABILITIES NOR DO I TRUST THEM. HE ALREADY FLAT LIED ABOUT THE WHOLE WARRANTY CLAIM. THEY ALSO LIED TO MY WIFE AND I BOTH THE 3rd time we had to bring the mini cooper in we said we had some "concerns" because we had to bring the car in 3 times within a week or so of buying it " THEY LOOKED AT US AND TOLD MY WIFE " LISTEN WE WILL NOT SELL YOUR TRADE IN UNTIL THIS IS RESOLVED" a couple days later we noticed it was listed on there website... a couple days after that it was listed as SOLD. Another Hayes Auto Group LIE. SO THIS IS 2 CARS... 2 BAD MOTORS. Over $4k out of pocket expenses so far. Several thousands of dollars in lost equity in my 300c that I traded in. KBB value of about $7500. But after reading other yelp reviews I see this is a very common experience with Team Hayes Auto Group. Along with reading other BBB Complaints. If your really want to know about Hayes AutoGroup and there business practices I would encourage you to go and look them up on the BBB website. I wish I would have This has been an absolute nightmare and I would encourage you to steer clear of this scam artist. This was the brief versions of the nightmare and lies I have experienced with Hayes Auto Group read more

horrible experience!!!!! don't buy from this lemon lot! very rude owner. Said vehicle was passed inspection, had lots of issues. suspension issues, water leak inside vehicle, major oil leak. Heard owner yelling at employee's, how can anyone work for such a volatile company/owner? I don't understand how this business is still in business. I feel sorry for how many people they have screwed. read more

The owner is a total asshole who has personal problems and seriously needs to seek help. I was looking at one of his cars giving his business the benefit of the doubt. they tried selling me a car with a blown valve cover. (Last year) This one seemed fine and great condition for a used car. It ended up having a misfire code come up after test driving it with one of their representatives. I was discussing my concerns with the sales person when the owner came out hot headed with attitude. Bear with me HE ACTUALLY GOT IN THR CAR AND SPEED OUT AND ALMSOT CRASHED IN HIS OWN LOT. Idk what his problem is he was quite rude raising his voice at us. And when we were looking at it he took off with it to the back of his lot. For context we were looking under the hood when he did this. His own sales person was in shock and could only say "he's passionate about bmw's" but can't seem to bother selling one without problems. I'd avoid this dealership if you're a person of color or a new driver. If I was you I'd look at the reviews this place has. I ended up driving 3 hours just to have this experience. I was pre approved and had insurance ready but when he did that me and my family left. PLEASE STAY AWAY LOOK AT THE REVIEWS. THATS who these people our.if you leave a review they harasses you. Team Hayes this is my honest experience with you guys. Please don't further contact me or my family. I won't hesitate to have the police involved. Horrible experience. I've worked in the customer service industry for 20 years.... Never have I ever felt more disrespected in my life as a customer. If you want to be scammed, ridiculed, and harassed use this auto group. My fiancé needed to refinance his car and I was working with him through the process to get everything squared away. The staff is incredibly rude and doesn't care about anything other than making a sale. Beyond that they set us up with a car that they knew had issues and made the process of getting it fixed a living hell. They gave us false information about our credit and payment history on our record. The third party mechanic they put us in contract with completely ignored us. I would recommend going literally anywhere else's for you auto needs. read more

Team Hayes, a place that i went to because one of my friends knew the owner, said they could help me out with getting a new car and they did. However the guy who sold it to us made it seem like we were a burden and repeatedly told us that he was doing us a favor and that we should count our lucky stars. Until it broke down two months later. I tried to reach out for them to fix it and they quoted us 800 dollars on a job i got someone to do for 200. They also just ghosted me and stopped responding to my texts in the middle of an agreement we had for them to come pick my car up and repair it. They said they would be by by the end of that week and then was never heard from again. Upon reaching out to them they replied with. WHO IS THIS. When we had had repeated conversations before.
