Had the absolute worst experience here over the weekend. The people who work here are incredibly untrustworthy. 2/15 Test drove a Forester. Loved it made an offer and waited for loan approval. 4hrs later (while waiting with my 8 year old) they told me I'd likely hear back from them tomorrow. I asked them, "are you sure tomorrow is a holiday". Being untrustworthy they told me, " do not to worry about it and we will set the car aside for you" 2/16 Called multiple times about the status of the deal. I was told multiple times that the finance department was working on my loan. Called later that evening and was told, "sorry since it's a holiday the finance department couldn't process your loan. 2/17 Called and spoke with someone who told me the car sold but I was approved for a loan. So I should just pick a different car and that the car I wanted has sold. This place is an absolute dumpster fire and completely wasted me and my daughter's time. I would also add the inside of the dealership is absolutely filthy which should have been my sign to turn around. I wish I would have. read more

Not going to lie was a little hesitant about this place with all the one star reviews but that was not our experience at all. We were not rushed and didn't feel like we were being pressured into a bad car. When we looked at some cars and I had questions about damages or anything Jesse Awnsered them to the best he could. We ended up not getting anything that day but came back the next day to see if the had anything else. I had told Jesse that I wanted to look at a certain car. When we got there he assured me that that wouldn't be a good fit for us because we commute and I appreciated the honesty. With him helping us it didn't feel like he was just doing it for a sale but that he actually wanted to get us into something that was going to be good for us. I would recommend this place to anyone and I'd absolutely recommend Jesse he got us a fair deal and made buying our first car way less stressful. read more

I bought 2005 Ford Escape from these folks today they have been working on it for a good part of two weeks because of an engine light that came on replacing things and taking care of it and I've been waiting Derek the salesman was an absolute total sweetheart he worked with me and help me out and knowing what amount of money I had to spend he worked hard to get me into a car . So finally I got to buy this little Escape and it all the paperwork went to drive it home got from the car lot to Lithia Dodge and the engine light came on . So I got a hold of Derek and he talked to his manager and said there's nothing that they could do about it I think this is bad business and I think it was mean at least I would have thought they could check it out but no the general manager said no . Again Derek the salesman was awesome . This was in Eugene Oregon not San Francisco I don't know how to change it read more

I bought a 2006 toyota tundra sr5 double cab from them about 5 months ago. The truck had 110'000 miles on it it being a toyota though that's a good price and I know toyotas will last for 300,0000 miles if taken cear of . When I went in I told the sales man Jason that I wanted a full size truck that had 4×4 capability and could tow a trailer because I was moving to maine to go to masonry school and Jason was very helpful and nice the service was great. I got the truck home and it had to sit for a month or so before I could get my drivers license back finally got my license and started driving it and come to find out the truck DOES NOT HAVE 4×4 capability and after filling up the gas tank 4 times and checking the gas mileage per tank of gas it's only getting 250 miles to the tank I understand it's a truck but 250 miles to a 26.5 gallon tank something is not adding up . I took it to auto mechanic and they did a tune up and that did not help the mileage. I went back to kendall and explained the situation and asked what could be done and was told I could trade it in and get something else . The posibal trade in value they said would be less than 7, 000$ i paid 13,500 $ this to me is bad business. I even told them I was willing to work with them but to be out that much money is not fair and I'm basically stuck with the truck the way it is unless I want to fork out a lot more money. I just would have liked them to make it right read more

I had to get a five year car and nobody was approving me since I had a car loan already. I brought a car here at the Kendall Value Lot for 10995 a 2010 GMC Terrain 139000 miles. The next day the emissions light came on. I have a 3 year warranty on the engine and transmission no extra cost but it did not cover what was wrong. They told me to bring it in and they would fix it and they gave me a loaner. When I picked up the car when they said it was fixed the emissions light came on again. They said bring it back in and they will fix it and gave me another loaner. It has been 3 months now no problems and it was a great buy. I am glad they stood behind the car I brought and I have no worries, and I am going to buy my next car here again in five years even if it is new from their other lot I will tell them to send it here. read more

I wanted to thank Jesse, the young salesman who helped me yesterday buy a 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe SUV LT with 4x4 capability. I'm going to take it camping in the Summer and get through the snow on the mountain passes in the Winter. I went in to look at vans and found his professional and knowledgeable guidance to the SUV was great. He was welcoming and very polite! I appreciated his candor about the condition of some of the vehicles I test drove and he provided CARMAX copies so I could see who owned the SUV and the service records to see what has been done. Extremely disappointed in this company. Bought a used 2001 lexus for 6500$ from here with 149,000 miles on it. Pretty good mileage on it for the year. one month later the oil light came on. Learned from a local maintenance shop it was burning a quart of oil every 500 miles!!! Clearly they completely failed on making sure the vehicle was up to par. And because i didn't buy the rediculous protection package that cost 1/5 the price of the car (that should've lasted atleast another 100,000 miles) they refused to do anything about it. Made us wait 4 hours in the lobby while they looked at it just to tell us it was an oil burner like we already knew. After 8 months of ownership the heater went out mid winter and basically had to get rid of it for a complete loss. You do not know what your getting from this place... read more

Budget sales? Nope not really. Make sure you check out the Kelly Blue Book online before making an offer. Kendall Budget Sales are always WAY over the HIGHEST KBB Suggested RETAIL price. Also always ask for the CARFax, they have them and it's free from them.. Some of the things to expect, (and I experienced); 1) They will call you back over and over if you give them your phone number, then when you tell them your name, they want to know your LAST name. In other words, you are put on a "list." When the sales manager gets upset that no one is selling any cars, they pull out, "the LIST." 2) Classic used car sales people, a stereotype for sure, but these guys must have gone to Used Car Salesman School. 3) Never once will the salesperson be able to accept you offer if under the marked price, you know what they have to do right? Yup, "I'll have to talk to my sales manager about that." Go figure. Gives the boys time to have a smoke break. read more

Also this is a huge letdown because of how much I generally like Kendall when it comes to service. The guy who sold me the car, a younger/new salesman named Rudy, was very nice. Great customer service before I bought the car. Less than a week after I had my "new" used car, the check engine light came on. So, I began the process of trying to get the problem fixed. Unreturned phone calls and improper communication between staff at Kendall has made the process lengthy. But, after many phone calls and trips to the dealer the problem is being fixed and the dealership lent me a car during the repair which was considerate. read more

The staff here were not honest with me about the car I purchased. Said everything was checked and car was good to go, fluids were checked and deemed good, didn't need any kind of service. I took the car for inspection and turns out that it needed several things addressed that should have been dealt with when they received the car, if I had kept driving it I would have had a problem. Also the interior was dirty; garbage in center console with a nasty looking cough drop and garbage in side door, dirt and debris near windows (this car was received by Kendall Budget sometime around July 2020 during covid btw) Spoke with the manager, before this I was told Kendall budget wouldn't change the brake fluid but after speaking with the manager he said he would fix the issues and refund the inspection. That was good of them to do but still have one issue that I think won't get fixed because I haven't heard back. I wasted time having to get all of this dealt with that should have been dealt with before the sale, and now more money because I'm going to get another inspection to make sure everything is fine and the last issue dealt with. Won't be coming back. read more

My elderly parents were on the lot today. They were "helped" by Cruz Elias Luis. Who proceeded to mock my mother for trying to negotiate the sticker price. His exact quote was "we set these prices for a reason". They brought in an advertisement for a vehicle on one one of the other Kendall lots that they wanted to buy. They were hoping to give Cruz Elias Luis the commission for the sale. He walked into the office, walked out 2 minutes later, and said "I don't know" and refused to look into it any further. My parents went to FM Jones and Sons and got AMAZING service. They walked away with a solid Ford Expedition at a great price point. Craig Watkins at FM Jones and Sons really took care of my family and I really appreciate it. Unlike Cruz Elias Luis he knows how to do his job and negotiate with the customer respectfully. Kendall lost a family of customers, and FM Jones and Sons gained a family of customers. read more

I purchased a used vehicle here and had a great experience with Nathan Harran, their salesman. He was very nice, patient, and helpful. I felt like he truly cared about me, not only as a customer, but as a human being. He gets 5 STARS in my book. I wasn't as impressed with the dealership mechanics, though. Before purchasing my vehicle (no warranty was offered), I was assured that it had been checked out and vouched for by the mechanics, and that all is properly working. But after purchasing it later that evening, I noticed that that my car was running very loudly (didn't notice during test drive due to testing radio and talking). This is something that the mechanics should have noticed upon inspection prior to sale. So I contacted Nathan about it, and he immediately went to bat for me to look into it and get it fixed. When I brought my vehicle in to Kendall Toyota's service center, the mechanic told me that this is a common issue with intake manifolds in some Toyota models and does not need to be fixed because it's "not a performance or mechanical issue". However, upon doing research afterwards, I found that not to be the case. I discovered that my intake manifold would need to be replaced entirely in order for this to be properly fixed - and it IS a mechanical and performance issue. So I called Nathan, told him that I felt the mechanic was not being honest with me, and then Nathan and Lanny both made arrangements to ensure that my intake manifold be fixed free of charge to me. They also set me up with a free loaner car for the day, which was wonderful and greatly appreciated. I also recently brought my vehicle in for an oil change (under the 3,000 mile mark from date of purchase), and discovered that my transmission fluid was dark, dirty, and needed to be completely flushed out and replaced. Before purchasing my car from the dealership, the maintenance records indicated that an oil change was done prior to the vehicle being put on the lot for sale. They should have noticed that the transmission fluid was dirty and had debris, and then correctly fixed the problem. But they didn't, and that was frustrating to find out. I would have taken it in immediately for a transmission flush, had I known. Overall, Nathan Harran rocks (and gets 5 stars). But if you plan to buy a vehicle from here, take it to a mechanic you trust for an inspection prior to purchasing. read more

Great buying experience with Kendall. This is our second car in 4 months. My experience was this. I was looking for a used car and had Lithia of Springfield, Kiefer KIA and Kendall Budget ( salesman Bruce) looking for me and contacting their lots to check used car inventory. Kiefer KIA did not even respond to my text or email when looking for a vehicle, Lithia in Springfield contacted me back but were pushy and kind of rude and disrespectful. At the same time Bruce at Kendall Budget sales called me back, replied to emails and set up times for us to come do a few test drives etc. Overall a great experience and into our "new to us" Camry with very low miles. Horrible place! Made an appointment with a specific gentlemen that was recommended to us by some great friends. When we got there not only did we NOT get the gentlemen we were suppose to speak with but also the vehicle we were interested in was marked up over $2,000 above its Kelly blue book value, it needed to be fully serviced! Timing belt especially, which is $500. The sales man was a JOKE! Tried telling me that the 'limited warranty' goes with their vehicles at no cost! Bullcrap! Nothing costs nothing! It's very insulting and disrespectfull treating me like I'm stupid because I'm a woman! They refused to come down on the price so we walked out! Later both the sales man and the manager contacted us by email! Salesman trying to get us to buy the Toyota Rav4, an the manager asking what caused us to get up and walk out! Don't waste your time here! Plenty of other places to find a good car! All of their vehicles are ALL WELL ABOVE THE ACTUAL VALUE!! Extremely unprofessional staff!!! read more
