I have a 2013 f150 with the 3.5l eco engine, after taking it to a previous shop to diagnose some oil leaks that were discovered I decided to get a second opinion due to the previous shop asking way too much to fix it. I ended up taking it to Kendal ford and was given a much better price to fix everything. After fixing the leaks and a few other issues that were found, I ended getting the truck back a few days later. unfortunately I was pretty disappointed in how little the technicians cared to properly secure both front wheel well liners and a unsecured catalytic converter, as well as a flashing low engine oil pressure light on my dash. I purchased a 2016 EcoDiesel from Kendall Ford of Eugene in March 2024. After paying over $25,000 for the truck, within 8 days, the truck was in their shop for approximately 3-4 months due to complete mechanical failure (including throttle control and fuel system components). Completely inoperable. Supposedly there was an "extensive inspection" on this truck, even though it broke down completely 8 days after I bought it, and it had to be trailed back to Kendall Ford of Eugene. While in the shop for nearly 4 months, numerous parts were replaced to include the high pressure fuel pump, the air filter, the air intake, and turbo flanges. But they never corrected the original issue and it had to be sent to multiple dealerships to even become functional again. 8 days after I bought it. Less than 2 years later, the same issue is still prevalent and worsening (electronic throttle control + DPF failure). I contacted the dealership to resolve this directly, and the only solution offered was to trade the vehicle in at a significantly reduced value (worth almost nothing, as it is once again, not functional) with no acknowledgment of the recurring issue despite numerous service records. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I will never go back here for any reason. They value their dollar over you, and aren't shy about it. Even knowing I was a veteran coming off a serious car accident didn't stop them from selling me a vehicle that broke within 8 day of purchase.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Do you really think they care more about you? It was dried and replaced the battery but still did not work so we called you and made an appointment for Thursday and was quoted $260 for the fob replacement and $190 labor. reason for cancelling our appointment: I called my local locksmith that came to the house immediately and quoted $260 for the new truck fob plus labor. I had my back brakes worked on a few months ago at Kendall. I just had the tires rotated elsewhere. It turns out the Kendall mechanic stripped the outside of the back wheels' lug nuts. I know the place doing the tire rotation didn't do it, I watched them. If I had a flat on the road somewhere I could not have replaced the tire. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Why not say something to me? Kendall Ford did a service on our truck. We were able to make an appointment within a few days without any problems. The person we spoke to on the phone was very nice and helpful. When we got to the dealership, the Quick Lube bays are the last two on the end of service. You pull up, the door opens and you drive in where someone meets you to fill out paperwork. All service workers we met with are wearing masks-though many wearing the thin gaiters that go around their neck-which didn't make me feel that protected. I would go to this Ford dealership if I was in need of service but it's not the best one I've been. read more

I am updating my review of Kendall Ford. So, two years ago durning a brake job, the smashed my car into a pole. They of course didn't tell me this and I had to fight them to fix it. Durning the brake job, they checked my driver side window since I was having issues with it. They gave me a quote for the window. I decided not to and left it as be. Fast forward to last night. Driving to work and the switch cover for my side mirrors falls off. Turns out the clips where broken and someone put double sided tape to hold it on. Now I know, it's been two years, blah blah. But, this car was bought brand new in 09, and I baby her. Besides my driver side window regulator which I don't use, nothing is wrong with her. I am upset that my bumper, after a few washes, shows the damage they caused which they did try blaming on me, but what ever. This company is a sneaky crappy business. They screw the customer over after they damage your vehicle. I get nothing will be done to fix my car (like I said they blamed me for my bumper being damaged at their lot), so... Yeah beware. Do not trust them with you vehicle. They did tell me my car was old (at the time she was 8 years old with like 85000 miles on her. Thank you for damaging my car and the crappy brake job (they need to be replaced already never had to change brakes so frequently before)... You guys are the best. I went to purchase a truck a few weeks ago and test drove the truck on a Wednesday. The asking price was just over $44,000. I told the salesman that I would be back Saturday to work out a deal on the truck and then they held it for me. Saturday I drove the truck and then noticed they raised the price $5,000 since Wednesday. The salesman lied directly to my face and stated they put a lift on it and wheels and tires. I told him BS and showed him the price of the truck Wednesday and that it had the lift and tires on it. I was extremely upset and then the idiot sales manager talked to me and lied again to my face. If I could give negative stars I would, they have kept our car for over a month and didn't start working on it, then when they said it was finished they charged us way more than the original quota. The service departments is getting bad over the last year. When you get there you always need to wait for a while before some body will help you out. They always on the phone with someone. Few time the service manager he come out the office to try to help me to get to the counter. I there almost every other two week for service. However my mother and I had a surprisingly rude time here at this location. We went in to look for some accessories for her vehicle. We were directed to the accessories department where we met Steve. Steve was very underwhelming with he's attitude towards helping us. My mom had lots of questions that were often met with small sighs and unenthusiastic responses. It felt as if he got tired of us asking questions and finally resorted to passing us along to the parts department. Overall very unhelpful experience and we left without the things she needed. My husband and I pulled up to test drive a couple of trucks tonight. An employee had parked a show car in the lines between the handicap spaces rendering them both utterly useless. Those lines are there so you know NOT to park there so people with wheelchairs can enter and exit their vehicles via ramps. We parked crooked so we could get our son out of our van and into his chair. Then we looked at each other and said "If they don't respect us and our needs then they don't deserve our business". He apologized for my less than stellar experience and said that the feedback in the following review had led to a number of meetings with staff at Kendall regarding customer care. He said he wished we were still in Oregon, so that he would have the opportunity to handle our situation in a very different way. He apologized for the lack of follow-through from the Used Car Manager and stated that if he had gotten involved, we would have received at least a new alignment. I am in the market for a preowned pickup, preferring a Ford F-150, looking for either an 6 or 8 cylinder, and a super cab or a super crew. My income forces me to look at rigs no higher $15K - to $20K because that is all that I can pay for. This time we got a beautiful, newer van with low miles for tons under kbb. We also got top dollar for our old van which we thought was going to cost us money to get rid of. Ask for LUBY! He was an absolute delight to work with on our end but must've been a bull dog behind the scenes to get us such a good deal on our new van, our old van and our financing. We had way more road blocks on our end than anticipated and he was incredibly understanding and kept coming up with better and better options for us. I made a deal over the phone with Glenn Manser to buy a car I'd seen on Kendall Ford of Eugene's website. I asked if there was anything beyond expected wear etc. "No". I know it's "used" and expected chips etc (which it had). However: We drove an hour and a half to get there (and then back) along with using a quarter tank of gas in my truck. Once there we found that the vehicles' passenger side of the front bumper had a Very large tear/ puncture from the edge, there was a small crease on the panel just behind the front right tire and the license tabs were expired. My wife and I came in a few weeks ago to buy a f150. Isaiah was awesome with helping us find a vehicle we wanted, in our budget and with the features we wanted. We ended up with amazing value on our trade in and drive off happy in our XLT F150. But it gets even better. Before our purchase, Isaiah pointed out that the tires had a little wear but they were still safe for the road. We were planning on getting different tires anyways so not a big deal. A few weeks after purchase I get a call from Isaiah that unknown to him, the dealership had ordered new tires for the vehicle. I was able to come down that day and get 4 brand new tires on my truck. They could've just refunded the tires and called it a day but Kendall Ford made sure to do the right and honest thing. So I have a friend who came to Kendall about three years ago. I don't remember what he had fixed, but I remember him complaining about them breaking something. Well three years later I guess I should've remembered that sooner. Well I sent my Ford to Kendall because it wouldn't change out of four wheel drive and my CD player ate my favorite CD. So not only did they try to tell me that my CD player was fine, the AC wouldn't work when I was driving it back home. There is a lot of demand for this vehicle and I am hearing stories about dealers going back on their agreed price and charging ridiculous amounts over MSRP so I was worried. Shocked how they do business, I was in the market for a truck and was originally going to buy up north but was referred to Kendell ford since they were apparently wonderful to deal with. Worst mistake I could have ever done! On April 26th I went in and talk with the sales men about what they had I originally went in looking at a white f-350 but ended up going with a magnetic that had a couple more bells and whistles for comfort, so then it begins we sit to discuss warranty options add ons etc, during this time I asked does warranty cover things that they add on to truck because why pay more from a dealer if it doesn't and their response was yes it's covered under your extended since your doing it as a new vehicle it'll all be covered. So me and my wife discussed and ended up adding on about $6899 that day between wheels, tires, leveling kit, tint, spray in bed liner and a apparently an awesome wheel and tire warranty that was originally quoted at$350. Paperwork time comes and of course I ask again just verifying that by adding all this now it'll be under my warranty ? Response was yes ! Started signing papers and and got to looking the wheel and tire warranty was in fact not $350 but instead $2000! Because those wheels were a lot more expensive he said. But apparently they cover everything about them at this point I don't believe anything these guys are saying! Since it was Sunday I had to wait until Monday to finish adding parts to the list since parts and service were closed. Monday comes around I call first thing and spoke with Kenny the parts guy and gave him a list of parts to look up and see what they could get. Thorough a few phone calls and multiple emails... we jump to Tuesday we're at this point I have verified that everything they are doing is covered under extended warranty answer always being yes I asked atleast 6 time during all our conversations always yes it is. So I opt do do the extras since peace of mind was our Main Goal. On Wednesday I get an email saying I'd be receiving an itemized invoice for everything to go over and make sure it was correct since I had applied a 10% discount to it which when asked was 10% off parts and 10% labor up to $100 per labor job. ONCE again false info since I never got my invoice or itemized statement they called Friday at 545pm to inform me that one of the parts they ordered were wrong and wouldn't fit on truck, So I'm bummed because it was my favorite add on ! A grill to change the look of the entire truck now that they let me down with poor communication at 545 pm on Friday 15 mins prior to closing for the weekend!!! Im mad at this point that's I was informed 15mine prior to them closing that truck is done but won't have what I asked. Well 25mins later I get a call after they're closed from their service guy George apologized about the grill but that was it and then in turn asked how would I like to pay ? Well I haven't gotten an invoice or nothing yet, so he goes to just rambling on what everything costed witch doesn't help me if I'm checking to see total before discount and discount applied so I ask did the 10% discount make it on there for all parts and 10% for the labor per jobs since I had 5 separate jobs? He's like yes you got $100 off labor and 10% off parts ...how do you figure only a $100 out of 5 jobs if it's 10% off per labor job up to $100....he responds is that what you were told ? Umm duh it's not like you freaking advertised discounts !!! Well you were misinformed it $100 labor total regardless of how many jobs you had ....total damage was $3100 I'm like ok but I still need invoice when I pick up truck on Sunday it'll be with the truck ....show up Sunday May 3rd to pickup truck and instantly noticed that the rear brand new wheels were missing the Fuel caps to them wondering wtf is this ? I asked my sales men about it I guess they had to order longer bolts or something, So I'm like George had no issues asking for $3100 on Friday but couldn't tell me that they didn't even finish everything or were having to order stuff? And yet also still no invoice !! Briefly asked my salesman about the parts and stuff with warranty he had to go ask the only finance lady working that day and she said yes would talk about getting papers and stuff when the guy that did mine returns to work I'm like ok and and then had to ask for a copy of the purchase agreement before I left lol Following Monday is when George called me since my salesman told him how upset I was about my experience and unprofessional communication.. still no invoice and what the deal with paper work for warranty this is when he would have to get back to me because he said extended doesn't cover any of the stuff you added ? Why the hell would I spend more than 10k in stuff for a warranty if there isn't gonna be a warranty ??? I had purchased my truck from Kendall in 2000 and Terry Conolly was the best salesman I could meet. He found the 4x4 I was looking for and was willing to put on a winch and new tires.... Fast forward.. Time to replace the wife's car so we go to the fairgrounds for the Kendall Memorial Day sales event. The sales people are a new crop and terrible. We met a sales agent who professes to be able to negotiate, so we test drive a car. We like it but the price is too high, so the agent gets the info off our current car and comes back with 'we are firm on our price and will give you $200 for your trade in' !!!! I was so shocked I inadvertently dropped the F bomb right there in front of everybody and we left! I felt manipulated because the agent did NOT have the authority to negotiate and they were not even WILLING to negotiate and claimed my car value of 200$ was legitimate. Well, I ran a bluebook check on the car they wanted to sell us and it was rated between $12,000-15,000 and they wouldn't budge from $22,000?!? Really?!?... Well, today we went to Portland to Dream City dealership and came home with a nice Taurus! They were willing to negotiate AND gave us $2500 for our trade in. From now on I don't think I will waste my time here in Eugene. I hit a rock and I needed to replace a radiator in my car. I dropped my car off in April and they've had it for seven weeks now and it still isn't ready. I've never had a small project like this go on for more than a month. Do you not get your car fixed here I'm sure the other services might be OK but as far as repair try and go somewhere else. Kendall Ford is the absolute worst. They have had my explorer since August 26th for a new transmission. First they tried to charge me $684 in parts when it's fully covered by my warrent. Once I cleared that up with them I tried for 2 weeks to get in contact with them for and ETA. No return call or email. Finally the servicxe manager called me. Seemed like it would finall be taken care of. But, here we are and they still have not even started on my vehicle. Not even a rental car. They claim they have none on the lot. had work done by Kendall Ford on my F350. Had rear end replaced, transmission replaced and clutch rebuilt as long as transmission was down. this was done in 2018. Had medical problems and didn't drive the truck much and at the end of 2021 was getting a bad whining noise that I thought was from the rear end. Did not trust Ford service department because they diagnosed the original problem with the truck wrong and the transmission did not need replacing. I had a local mechanic check out the whining on the truck and also fix a seal leak at the rear of the engine. He fixed the rear main seal on the engine and found a problem with the clutch assembly. He also fixed the rear differential and found a problem with the way it had been installed by the Ford mechanic that did the work. These are quotes from the invoice from the local mechanic: 1. "Removed transmission & clutch to replace rear main seal, found flyweel bolt plate improperly installed between flywheel and crank shaft" 2. "Disassembled rear end & rear bearings - upon disassembly found backlash to tight and ring gear worn both from improper installation" I believe I should be compensated for the incorrect installations.......Fords Service Department Director, Jowell Hazen, and I talked today about these things, after trying to get an answer from the service manager and Kevin Hive for almost 2 months. Mr. Hazen's opinion is that because the service was done and is now out of the warranty period that I should not get compensation for the work that was done wrong by their mechanics and because I didn't trust their mechanics I went to another reputable mechanic in this area who found the bad work that Ford Service Center did. In my opinion, I would suggest to anyone that has to have work done on their automobile, TAKE IT TO SOMEONE ELSE!!! Contacted Kendall Ford on a specific used vehicle I found on Autotrader. Due to the fact that it is over six hours each way for me to drive there, I wanted to know some numbers in advance. The first salesperson failed to respond in any timely manner and then passed me off to another salesperson because they didn't work weekends. The second salesperson has failed to respond or supply me with any kind of numbers in three days after saying they would. Apparently the sales department is subpar and doesn't want to deal with anyone from out of town. I suppose it ruins their ability for high pressure sales After the truck was transferred to Bend, it only got worse. Don't deal with James Kirk or Lisa Arney. Always have quick service. This would be a 5 star, but I always get mugged by an over zealous new sales guy looking to see what I am interested in. I have bought three vehicles from kendall in the last five years, but I find the best time to go and look for my replacement is when it's raining outside as I am left alone to look in peace. read more
