Live on south coast, shopped online for truck with Xmas incentives , after hour less days bantering with questions and offers, Jesse Snarr at Kendall responds with a deal from Kendall including a blown in bed liner. I decide to pull the trigger, but then realize that XL F150 Silver/white color would be bad on a muddy gravel road. I then find another truck at Kendall online but a XLT F150 Stone Gray where Jesse apologized forgetting about that truck but he will match same offer over to it, I agree and made deposit stating on Xmas eve coming to pick up. During the 3day period to go get truck, I found pictures were gone of truck posted online and requested to have them and inquire about running boards since I did not recall from pictures. For 3days my emails/text were ignored on my request and almost called my credit card to void my deposit on the deal. Then James Kirk was put in place by Jesse to complete transaction and that is when I felt everything was now back on a very positive track . James Kirk was great getting truck set up with blown in liner and then the "running boards" which they placed on while I was waiting after arriving at dealership. I will say was cautious due to lack of communications during those 3 days, but James Kirk was able to get me on the road with the technical truck set up required to my iPhone set up used by the computer system in the new vehicles, and ran me through the basics of trucks console technical system in a 3hour period which included the signing of papers and credit reports on a Xmas eve. Long story short , James Kirk earned the 5 stars and I pray the truck I bought will earn the same as I use and drive it since all I have placed on since purchase in 2days is under 400 miles and there still are items like free oil changes involved . I went to Kendall Ford on 12/05/18. I was helped by Dylan and Casey, they went above and beyond for me. They worked so hard to find a deal that would work for my situation. I did not end up leaving in a car that day, however, it was not for the lack of trying on their part. I've given this dealership more chances than they deserve. I have had two fleet vehicles that I've tried to get serviced here in addition to a terrible experience swapping out the first fleet vehicle with the current one. I have been successful to get an oil change only once in the five times I have visited Kendall for this purpose. They do not have clear signage or waiting line, so all times I have stood waiting in the general service area for several minutes without ever a greeting or a 'be right with you.' Every time I have had to approach an employee to ask for help. I have waited for that 'help' every time. This morning after a man told me he would be able to help me with an oil change 'in a minute', I waited almost ten before walking out. All my personal vehicles are Toyotas and every location I have ever visited has clear signage, directions for service and friendly proactive staff. I don't know if it's just a Kendall thing but I'll not be back until I have to swap out my next fleet vehicle. read more

Run away, run far away! So if I could vote for negative stars I would, but I will break down why this is probably the most negative review I've made. Let's start with the website; I've searched almost all Ford, Chevy & Ram dealer's websites while looking for a new truck. Most websites allow you to filter search results but Kendall's is the worst. The ability to filter by motor (diesel or gas) doesn't work. You attempt to filter but soon see gas when it should be diesel and vice versa. This is the only dealer I've seen that doesn't list a dealer discount. Now if none are offered I would easily understand that but they are offered but only if you go in, and ask, and explain what a dealer discount is to the young kid trying to be a salesman. So you decide to see the window sticker for yourself at the dealer, and are greeted by the sales person. Most people in my experience would start with understanding why the customer is there and assist. Not this place. I was greeted with "If you want to talk prices come inside and fill out an application". I haven't even said what truck I wanna see, how much is it, where are they or anything of the sort. Again young kid, but when asked about a dealer discount I get the deer in the headlights look and I was asked what that is. Are you kidding me? If you live in Eugene/Springfield area and are interested in a Ford you are forced to deal with this, or drive miles to deal with someone professional. I've lived here over 40 years and have never seen a business work like this. FYI: No, I won't remove this review since it's true. No, I won't amend it since there is no reason to. No, I will not call your manager, or speak to anyone else. No, you cannot reach out to me to ensure a better experience. I'm surprised you are still in business the way this establishment is operating. If anyone is looking head somewhere else because you will not have a good experience at Kendall Ford. read more

I was on a trip from Seattle to Sacramento when I truck shifted from 6th gear to 1st gear instantly at 60 MPH and the accelerator would not respond. I stopped at Kendall Ford in Eugene. They found diagnostic code 19N01. My wife found online that the truck's symptoms were a recall. Kendall said they replicated the problem but then on the work order said they could not. Instead they recommended replacing spark plugs, ignition coil and perform a tune up. Cost $565! They told me they were 100% confident the problem was resolved. After leaving Eugene, 60 miles away, it happened again. We were on a steep downhill with a narrow shoulder that we had to try and move into. Semi trucks were passing very near us and were very quite nervous we were going to get hit. After turning off the ignition and restarting, we were able to get to Sacramento. We took it to Folsom Lake Ford who was aware of the recall and fixed it!!! They even washed our truck spotlessly. I would not recommend Kendall Ford. I was contacted by Kendall Ford Customer Relations who explained why they could not fix our truck on a recall. Evidently code 19N01 needed to be accompanied by other codes (P0720 and another) before Ford would reimburse them. Those codes supposedly did not appear however they did appear at Folsom Lake Ford. I am changing their rating due to the effort to explain the situation. read more

The waiting area is as comfortable as possible, will plenty of seating and outlets (thank you!) for those needing to work while waiting. Made an appointment for a routine oil change. Appointment was at 8, wasn't in the system but they were able to get me in. Not sure why my service took 2.5 hours as I was one of two people in the waiting area on a Saturday morning. I was really surprised at the comfortable use of foul language the front desk used. I'm no saint but I would expect this more from the actual mechanics out back as opposed to the whole customer service team. To their defense they may have forgotten that I was in the waiting area as I fell asleep while waiting for my routine service. If this wasn't provided as part of my purchase of the vehicle, I wouldn't service my car here, on my own choice, ever. read more

Not impressed at all. I visited the flag ship of Kendall auto group on two separate occasions and neither time did I leave feeling they'd helped me at all. Meanwhile, across town, another new car dealership sold me a more expensive car, paid off my trade, cut my interest in half, got me financed through a credit union, and only slightly raised my payment on twice the amount of car. Don't buy a 5.0 Coyote from Ford or a used vehicle from Kendall Ford. The Coyote motor has problems with a metallic banging noise that Ford has acknowledged and will not take any steps to remedy. The motor sounds horrible when it has been driven for long distances and Ford is currently claiming this is a normal operating characteristic of the motor. Kendall Ford sold me a used 5.0 F150 last October. At the time the motor did not make the horrible banging noise but it was a known problem at Ford dealerships. There was no mention of this problem to me when I purchased the vehicle. Well, this problem manifested itself in the vehicle and Kendall Ford has done nothing to fix the problem. This is with a complete manufacturer's warranty, Kendall one year used car warranty, a CPO warranty and upgraded CPO warranty on the vehicle. Don't believe this hype that Kendall has on their website about not selling you someone else's problem and doing the right thing. Compared to Shepard this place is great but compared to any other car dealer I've been too, Meh I've had better. :-) Service is good and knowledgeable. Just a little tip- if you're looking to buy a car from Kendall- go get a $50 Costco membership 1st. That $50 can save you thousands of dollars on a purchase of a new car. Don't believe me look it up. This was the worst car buying experience. Firstly we had found the prefect certified pre-owner car and after being told the terms and that we were approved, all that was left was for us to accept it but in that time another salesmen had shown the car we were looking at and they accepted his offer before starting his paper work and they sold it to someone else right in-front of us, not even giving us the chance to accept the car. Then from their they pass us through a few salesmen and managers and in the end we purchased a brand new car because they could not find a similar vehicle for us. We spent 7,000 more than planned (on a car with not as many features) and didn't get a very great price on our trade in. So after waiting a week to get the car because they didn't have nay in stock, I go to pick it up and they had locked the keys in the car and had not told us before we arrive. So they tried breaking in to the car for 30minutes (right in-front of me) and were unsuccessful so then a locksmith was finally called (should have started with that). Overall I was left unsatisfied with the service and lack of issues being resolved. read more

Overall pretty terrible customer service from their management team. I called to get a payoff amount for a car I was trading in (I called numerous times to get a confirmation). After getting the same payoff number from 3-4 managers/sales personnel, when the company I bought a car from went to pay off my loan, kendall decided to add 500$ extra to my payoff out of no where. Kendall would not work with me or the company I was purchasing a car through. They did absolutely nothing to help, they kept saying they were going to call me back and help me out. They never called back or helped out, or even tried from what the other company said. I think Kendall needs to hire some better people that actually have customer service skills. No over sell, just listen to my requests, and she made sure to inform the tech.'s of my concerns about the work needed. I decided to try their service department even after I was screwed on the price. But we had four oil changes, after the second one my son noticed there was bars sticking out from under the car. This was a brand new car. Even this companies service dept sucks. I would go somewhere else if you value Now we have tried again with this crummy company, and they still suck. We went for an oil change, which took five hours. After we got home we notice a bar rubbing against our front tire. We called them they sent a very large guy to us who couldn't even fit under the car. He took off the bar and said it needed a special bolt, it doesn't. Now it's been several months and now no one even knows where the part went. These people don't instill confidence. Mike in the Service Department was a superstar! Thank you Kendall Ford. On a recent trip from the Cali/Mexico Border to Eugene/Springfield our service engine soon light came on about 150 miles out of Eugene. We read our manual and tried the suggestions about bad fuel, etc. We realized that even if there was nothing wrong we'd need to reset the light. They just don't go off if the problem is fixed anymore! So we were worried about what could happen, a big repair bill, or even just $100 bucks to have it checked out. We called the SERVICE department and Mike said, come on in, we can have you out of here in an hour most likely. We came in, the waiting spot even had FREE WIFI! The girls played and within 20 minutes, Mike comes back, it's been reset. Tells us a cylinder misfired while driving, perhaps due to poor gas. It's reset and NO CHARGE!!! WOW! William Sequeira was an excellent Service Consultant as he was professional and pleasant. He thoroughly described a valve that needed replacing on my ford focus se and the procedure. The problem was quickly located and the part needed was in stock. The repair was done same day and, even though pricing was not cheap, the technician did an excellent job on the repair. Absolute terrible customer service. In the almost year it's been since we bought our $20,000 car from them we have never once felt like they actually care about their customers. We paid an EXTRA $3,000 for the extended warranty and 1) not everything has been covered and 2) they failed to tell us we would need to pay $115 for a diagnostics test. Well not until after they ran it. We've taken our car in 3 times for issues. They basically ignore you for 10-20 minutes. They then are never accurate, honest, or upfront about cost or how long it will take them. This is our only family car so being without it means we have no car that can have a car seat put in it. We waited for a time when a loaner car would be available and they were so backed up that we just waited. A month later and about 30 calls from them to reschedule, we finally made an appointment to get or part fixed and they said it would only take a couple hours. So we planned our day around that. Only to drop off the car (at 8am) and find out they will have it all day and HOPEFULLY be done with it by 5pm. Their customer services is the absolute worst. They don't car about their customers. We aren't more than a job and some money. We will NEVER buy from them again. And we warn all of our friends and family to steer clear of them. read more

After looking for a new car for almost a month at several different dealers, Kendall stands out in knowledge and friendliness. My experience relates to the purchase of a new vehicle. I was upfront about my intentions on shopping around and finding the best value. Not only did they provide the best price, but the transaction was painless. I put the dealer through *a lot* of extra work by changing my mind countless times. Not once did they make me feel bad about the fact that I was causing them more work and most likely reducing their bottom line. In the end, they have a very satisfied and happy customer. I hope their service department is as good as their sales/admin side. I do see a lot of 1 star reviews in regards to service, but I have to remind myself that people generally don't go online to give someone praise for doing what they are supposed to do. The Internet is where people go to complain about an experience (which happens from time to time). I'm 100% sure that the last time you fraudulent idiots had my vehicle in for repairs, you lied and didn't even put my vehicle in the garage, let alone replace any parts you charged me for. My transmission just had to be rebuilt because you people can't even check transmission fluid during service. Now the speed sensor that you "replaced" only 6 months ago has completely crapped out. Although I do not normally give negative reviews, my recent experience with Kendall Ford was disappointing. I have an airbag safety recall on my vehicle for a repair, which could potentially take the whole day. Naturally, a "loner" car is typically given in these circumstances. However, Kendall Ford was unwilling to provide one because I only have liability on my personal vehicle, rather than full coverage. It is unreasonable to expect a Ford owner to pay out of pocket for insurance for a loner vehicle in a safety recall situation. It's too bad that Kendall Ford has such inflexibility on their part in order to save a few bucks. read more
